This is one of the most unique k-dramas I've ever seen, even though I've only seen 2 episodes. If the writing style continues to be like what I saw in ep.2, it might even become one of my favorites. It's meant to be a mockery of all the common tropes. I like the dark comedy and how it never takes itself too seriously.
It now increased to 7.4 but it's still wrong. Currently watching rating is 8.01 and verified/stars rating is 7.57. How that averages to 7.4 is beyond me.
Less than 1% users dropped the show, so their scores shouldn't be able to neutralize the higher scores from current watchers. I think MDL ratings are glitching out again. The actual rating for this drama should be at around 8. Hope it goes back to normal soon :(
I enjoyed the first two episodes. I like how they used all the most cliche tropes (amnesia, terminal illness, fake marriage) in k-dramaland but in the craziest ways. This is almost like a parody of k-dramas lol. Anyone who is hesitating because of ratings should def check this out, the ratings aren't reflecting the quality of the show at all.
Judging from the lack of promotional materials for this drama but an abundance of them for other dramas, it seems that they'll be prioritizing other dramas ahead of this one. April sounds like a legit air time to me. Will they consider airing Immortal Samsara first? The trailer is out for that one.
They eventually fall for the guy they got married to, who weren't their original matchups
Yup! I'm also really looking forward to how the dynamics play out between the heavenly prince and his uncontainable wife. It would be really fun to watch for sure. She's probably going to turn the heaven realm upside down and make his husband have a heart attack. LOL But opposites attract, so they'll make a great OTP. There would be no such chemistry or fun if the innocent sister was married into the righteous household right? XD
Well the book has two parts... But only the first part is translated in English... The first part is tragedy...…
Sometimes dramas can be vastly different from novel. For example, in the novel, the FL never stabbed the ML, but she did in the drama. So that means they might make a lot of changes to the drama, some of which may justify the ML being the endgame. That's why there's no predicting how the drama will develop just from looking at the novel.
In the novel, FL ends up with SML. It's one of the things ppl liked about the novel, but for those who want ML…
Very much agreed. In Yan Dan's case, the definition of a happy ending is not "ending up with ML" like how things commonly are. Being with someone who treasures her, who knows how to love her is also a happy ending. ML is like a girl's first love, that they don't end up with because of bad timing or not knowing how to properly love.

In the novel, she chose Yu Mo because of the many wrong decisions that Ying Yuan made. He had lost her for good. In the drama, they may change this and have ML as endgame, as long as they write a proper redemption for him.
