I've read through the novel. It's good, but really sad. Looking forward to the live adaptation!
It's centered on the romance, so there are definitely some romantic moments, but with 90% sadness in between. If you also want to know if it has a good or bad ending [spoiler]...
The path to get there is very rough, but it has a happy ending.
Can someone explain why the part where the bus collides with the oil tank has been missing in the past several…
The car collision only happens if FL tries to get off the bus or distract the bus driver early on. It causes the bus to slow down, so the bus driver would try to speed up to catch the time, and then it collides into the oil tank. If the bus drives at normal speed the whole time, the collision doesn't happen and the bomb is set off on the bridge instead. This is why during the first few loops, FL hears a ringtone play before the explosion happens. The ringtone only sounds when the bomb sets off at its presupposed time.
can anybody spoil me the ending . will they be able to escape this time loop by saving everyone?and also why Lu…
Female lead was selected by someone, a supernatural being to go into the time loop. Male lead is taken into the loop seemingly by the female lead, but probably still with the approval from that same "someone". So who gets to go into the loop is fixed. Regular people do not have control over it.
Actually there were no hate relationships between the lead. There were some misunderstanding between them. Chang…
That's what I thought too, so I put the "love-hate relationship" in quotes. I wouldn't personally call it a love-hate relationship (someone added that to the tags). They are somewhat frustrated towards each other, male lead was sad about the betrayal and got possessive, while female lead was struggling to gain back her freedom. There was tension between them, but it wasn't hate I agree.
I'm really looking forward to this live adaptation because I really enjoyed the love story between the leads in the novel. Without spoiling what the story is about, what I can say I loved the most about it was that even with all the angst, conflicts and misunderstanding between the leads, they were always only thinking for each other. Behind their "love-hate relationship" (this is in the tags, so it's not a spoiler), the love was always much stronger than the hate and everything that seemed angsty was all just hidden sweetness (which is made obvious to viewers). Therefore, I wouldn't even say this is a sad or tragic drama, although it has the typical sufferings of a xianxia.
Why is this related to "Skate into Love" 🤔 Does it have young deities skating in Heaven lol 😂
The story is not related. These two novels (along with Ashes of Love) are simply from the same trilogy, called the "Sweet Trilogy". Their only thing in common is they all have something sweet in the Chinese title. Love When the Stars Fall has "star candy", Skate into Love has "rock sugar" and Ashes of Love has "honey".
I agree with a lot about this c-drama. It's really good. Practically all the elements are here, suspense, sci-fi,…
Back in the beginning, there wasn't enough time for the police to arrive. Because every time the leads restart a loop, the clock goes back 1 minute. Hence the police intervention is only possible in the last loops where they start the loop at the earliest point of time possible.
Whenever I watch xianxia dramas and they say things like "one day in heavenly realm is a gazillion years in the human realm", then they show a human realm that always seems to stay in an ancient historical period, I feel perplexed. Now there is finally a drama that shows time progression in the human realm properly lol. Can't wait to watch deities fighting in the Republican era!

The novel had a bad ending. ML died :(
It also deals with time loops, with a great love story.
