Agreed. The entire time I was shouting "just tell the driver they know the truth about his daughter's death" already!! It made me super frustrated. But then, the leads aren't known to have good planning. If they did, they would've resolved it in a less amount of loops.

For those who are asking why the ratings suddenly dropped, it's because the Verified/Stars rating is pulling it down. Verified/Star members' ratings contribute a higher weight to the score than regular members. Average for regular members is 8.7 right now.

which is actually a good thing because we get to see a more fleshed out establishment of the characters' relationships and be able to connect with them. The half baked ep1-5 in the live action was a major turn off.

It does have a little bit of romance, but really just a little bit. They have a bond stronger than just friends, and there are moments where ML would get jealous when FL interacts with another guy. They also hug and grab each other's hand a lot in the later episodes.

Agreed. My negative comments are going to be labelled as unreasonable hate comments, but seriously the first five episodes ruined the drama for me. The prologue was very rushed, the emotions were lacking, and I couldn't feel the supposedly deep love and regret the leads had for each other. I didn't have to read the novel to notice the flaws. If I had read the novel, I can imagine how disappointing it would feel. The anime version actually had a better start.

Agreed. He could've started breaking the glass early on and once the bus stops, hand over the bomb to the police immediately. Even if he was half a minute earlier, they could have succeeded without fatality. I think if they planned more during each previous loop rather than halfly improvising it would be better.

Haha I'm not sure how many spoilers you want, but I can vouch for all the police being good guys. Also, their time loop isn't a dream. There is a bomb on the bus that sets off regardless of whether the car accident happens or not. The accident simply makes the explosion happen a few minutes earlier.

I binged to ep 13 in two days. The pace was a bit slow with the interrogation scenes at the beginning but it got better and better afterwards! The last few episodes made my heart beat fast. I'm looking forward to ep 14 and 15.

They do. I think it's after ep.10, there are several moments where they hug, and times when they would stroke each other's hand to comfort the other person. It's nothing explicit tho, and they are so busy saving the world that there's literally no time to actually date/confirm their relationship or do anything lovey dovey. But you can tell their bond is not just friendship. ML also gets jealous and sits really close to FL in some scenes.

I didn't like how they started the drama, but I think I'll continue watching to see if it gets better. It was a bad idea to speedrun the prologue in 5 episodes, including the part they fell in love. The anime version has a much much better start and transition imo. It did a brief summary of the first 5 episodes and the actual story begins after the time skip. Watching that and then coming back to watch the live action made things a bit better.

The closest I've watched to this is Source Code. Both are about people stuck in a time loop on a public transport with a bomb. Both involve solving the mystery to end the loop.

I already watched Love and Redemption. I'd love to try the other ones tho, thank you so much for your recommendations <3
