Since MM is literally doom itself, I suppose every accident or unfortunate event that happens in the world is related to him. Like what he mentioned, every step he takes, every breathe he makes, something bad happens to people. So naturally, FL's parents' deaths will be caused by him too.

This came out when I was really young so I never got to watch the full thing from beginning to the end. I watched BOF Korean version, Hana Yori Dango, and recently the 2018 Chinese version and I feel like something is missing from the 2018 version. I want to try and watch this Taiwanese version and see if it's better.

I like how this version is a compilation of all the previous versions in detail. But the problem is it still shouldn't have been 50 episodes long. It got very draggy in the middle, and one thing that really annoys me is how cold Shan Cai treats Si and she keeps being in denial of her feelings for like half of the drama. It wasn't like that in the other versions, so it means they wrote it like that on purpose just to make the drama longer.

I'm so disappointed because this would've been my favorite romcom if not for the unnecessary angst and noble idiocy in the last few episodes, and the rushed ending :(

Same!!! I couldn't find any good dramas so I decided to randomly rewatch one episode of this drama to pass the time, and I ended up bingewatching the whole thing again lol

Wow. Annarasumanara is one of the most unique manhwas I've ever read. I can't imagine what a live adaptation will be like. Hopefully it will be good!

The synopsis is almost identical to the Chinese drama "The Life of the White Fox" and I enjoyed that one. I'm so looking forward to this!

I feel exactly the same. I know it's good because it has all the elements of a good drama, but I'm just not feeling it. Not sure if it's because of lack of chemistry or the way it was filmed. Hopefully it grows on me later.
