UGH I hate Jae Sun SO MUCH! He just assumes stuff without trying to communicate at all. Honestly his parts are a pain in the neck, I only wanna watch the cute moments between Hong Jo and his owner.
Jae Sun is really getting on my nerves here, I can't believe I have to wait until next week to see his stupid…
I'm an introverted shy person as well but I hate her too. I find the cat-like portrayal of her character to be too intentional and forced. They made her quiet and unresponsive just for the sake of making her seem like a cat, and that doesn't go well with character building at all.
What's wrong with her face? I couldn't recognize her. I had to check: is this really the same actress who played…
I'm watching both dramas at the same time and she looks exactly the same in both, even the makeup, hairstyle and personality. Her hair is just a bit longer here.
I just finished the first 2 episodes and I'm grinning from ear to ear. We barely get any rom com dramas anymore…
I've been in a drama slump for a long time precisely because there were no good romcoms left for me to watch!! Really glad this is coming out, only downside is I have to wait for episodes.
Ok I understand why people give this bad reviews and ratings because the suspense fell out halfway through BUT…
I'd give the first half a solid 9 or 9.5 but the second half was a 6.5 or 7 at best because of the inconsistent rules and plot conveniences. I agree that it's better than Extraordinary You though.
Take it as if he's capable of taking animal form. He's not really an animal anyway if you think about it a little…
The way I see it, if a cat is capable of transforming into a human, and a REAL one at that (with a human body, brain, thoughts and emotions), then philosophically it's not really a cat anymore, but a magical spiritual being, kind of like in Chinese folklores the concept of a cat demon/cat immortal/cat god that has gained the ability to take on a human form and have spiritual thoughts at the level of a human soul.
The pitch of the drama is catchy, as is often the case with the adaptation of a manhwa.Unfortunately, I've noticed…
That's why I think it's a must for scriptwriters to change up the plot to add more substance and depth, instead of just copying the story over. Manhwa and dramas are very different mediums, and the amount of details required for a drama is significantly higher. It may not be that the manhwa writers are bad, but more about how well the story was adapted over to fit the requirements of storytelling for a drama series.
I'm Capricorn but I like the recommendations for the other zodiacs haha. I have my logical and rational side but I'm also girly and a hopeless romantic inside XD
I found myself dumb, i dont even understand the end of the story, honestly i dont skip any minutes cos im enjoy…
They burnt the tape to break the time loop so that all the time travel never happened. It went back to before HYX time travelled into CYR's body for the first time, so this time it is CYR waking up with MJJ by her side. The psycho doctor never goes to the past, CYR doesn't commit suicide, MJJ never goes to jail, LZW never gets into the car accident or becomes WQS, and HYX never meets WQS. HYX ages from 6 years old to 17, and meets LZW in the easter egg, who is 28 years old and 11 years older than her.
I'm not a BL fan, but I've read some BL manga before and I can sort of understand why some girls would enjoy it. BL series usually are more romantically written than boy-girl love stories, and they have more sexual content in general which could be a turn on for some. In addition, both guys are usually hot so the reader can drool over both of them at the same time. It's like when some guys like watching two girls make out. It could be sexually attractive even without the audience themselves being involved.
I also commented in your old article about new dramas lacking the romantic feels. For some reason, they either don't make my heart flutter, or they do but don't keep it sustainable. Dramas like Her Private Life and What's Wrong With Secretary Kim had quite a lot of romantic moments, but the story didn't have enough substance to keep me engaged till the last episode. I think good romance is not only about the chemistry of the couple, but also about the obstacles they have to face together to show how strong their love is. Feel-good fluffy dramas nowadays only show you skinship, but true love is one that stands against the odds, self-sacrificing and full of yearning and waiting. Without a fair amount of drama, the love doesn't get through to the audience and would just become a snoozefest. Watching ppl kiss or hug isn't automatically romantic; it needs to have a backstory that pulls on your heartstrings. There are couples that don't have much skinship, but still have more chemistry than those who do, because you can tell from what they do for each other and how they look at each other how strong their bond is.
Just realized this is Hayami Mokomichi's comeback drama as ML again after 8 years!!! Loved him in Zettai Kareshi, he was one of the most handsome men I've ever seen!
I'm actually fine with the two characters being similar, if it fits the story
