Well that makes more sense. A lot of people did feel creeped out by the potential underage dating issue as well as age gap. I don't have much opinion on this, but I guess it would have been more comfortable for ppl if they showed her in her 20s and him in his 30s.

Yes the drama is pre-produced. The filming ended 9 months ago too, so it's a rare sight to see them come tgt just to film one more bonus scene. I'm really glad they did :)

The drawing can't be from the time they re-met, since she goes to a different high school with a different uniform and also hairstyle. As for their relationship, I agree with you that it definitely isn't their first time meeting each other. She has a birthday cake prepared, so they're at least already fds if not lovers. But I tend to think they're dating because LZW's third wish was to see her, so he must be in love with her in this timeline as well.

They didn't release any alternate endings. They had several endings in mind when they filmed the drama, which they argued over, but eventually they settled with the one best ending that we see now.

The bonus clip was filmed within 28 hours after the leak. The producers and the cast gathered tgt again just to film it for fans that watch the official broadcast, and to tackle the piracy issue.

Your explanation is well put. Although I still think there are some holes in the story, I'm beginning to think it's not all that important compared to the messages and meaning that the drama gives. I completely agree with you about time travel being a means for them to mend their regretful past, and that they were fated to meet.

They're meeting in a new timeline again. I actually find it to be a satisfying ending, since what happened in the past 13 episodes has ceased to exist, the only way they could be tgt again was to have fate bring them back tgt despite not having any memories of their alternate lives. The good thing about this ending is they can finally fall in love with each other as themselves, in one single timeline. Originally, high school LZW never actually meets the time travelling HYX that he fell in love with, because that HYX is from the previous timeline. He time travels and becomes WQS, only to meet and date with the next WYX, and when he is old LZW, he reunites with the next next WYX. Their love is never reciprocal as they're always one timeline ahead or behind the person they love.

27 year old Li Zi Wei is in his art studio, drawing a sketch of Huang Yu Xuan running in the rain. (He's never experienced the scene in real life, but he probably dreamt about it or has vague memories of it.) Mo Jun Jie comes in with a cupcake to celebrate his birthday. He asks him to make three wishes. Li Zi Wei says his first wish is that he can complete all his projects and have a successful career. His second wish is for Mo's grandmother to have a prosperous business and be healthy. He did not say his third and last wish out loud. Suddenly, lights go out and Huang Yu Xian comes in with a birthday cake. She is wearing a high school uniform, indicating that she is her 16 year old self and they are finally together. We can all guess what LZW's third wish was -- it was "想見你", the name of the drama, which means "Want to see you"

I don't know how that'd be possible, but since it was never explained I guess they're leaving it to our imagination :)

For 2) and 3) I have my own theory: since each iteration slightly differs from the others, there may have been other versions of the death of CYR. We were actually shown 3 of them throughout the drama:
1. CYR is found dead on the floor with a stab mark in her right waist, the culprit nowhere to be seen.
2. LZW rushes to the balcony and finds MJJ holding CYR in his arms with a shard in his hand. He had either killed CYR or pretended to have killed her upon her request.
3. CYR jumps down the building by herself and MJJ holds her on the ground floor.
My take is that since the way she died has changed, it gave room for HYX to prevent it somehow.

After some thought, I think I understand why destroying the tape was necessary. Assuming the tape wasn't destroyed, CYR would still at some point kill herself. MJJ may not be framed as the murderer or go to jail, but he may still kill himself out of guilt that he could not save CYR. LZW wouldn't have gone to visit him in jail or experience the car crash, but since he misses HYX he may still time travel to the future and become WQS, give HYX the cassette player to save CYR, and the loop will continue. Since each time HYX time travels into the hospitalized CYR, a new loop is formed in a new timeline. The only way to save CYR was to destroy the tape so that in the next timeline time travel no longer exists and CYR wakes up as herself.

Your theory is probable, but according to the time travel rules the leads must be thinking about one another while listening to the song to time travel, so it's impossible for LZW to have time travelled into WQS the first time because he wouldn't know HYX and be thinking of her during that car accident.

According to her previous time travel experiences, she always travelled several minutes before where she had left off. For example, she experienced the police officers coming into the CD shop twice, and she was with LZW in his room twice after seeing the sketch drawing. That means she is able to change what happens within those few minutes. Since the third time travel ended after CYR jumped, when HYX time travels the forth time, she will end up at a time before the jump, and stop it from happening.

I finished the ending, but I felt like there were still many questions unanswered.
1) How did they even enter the mobius time loop in the first place? I understand they ultimately break the loop and go back to their lives as if nothing happened, and those are probably the lives they would've had if the time loop hadn't occurred/before the time loop started occurring. But then I don't see how they would've entered the loop in the first place if everything played out normally without the effects of time travel.
2) On ep.8, LZW saw MJJ holding a glass shard in his hand as if he had stabbed CYR. In the death scene we saw on ep.13 however, CYR died from suicide. Was the scene with the glass shard a dream, or was it from one of the many iterations of timelines?
3) We know the loop has repeated many times before they eventually broke it, but since we were only shown in detail what happened in the last iteration but not much of the other iterations, what do you guys think they did differently in the last iteration to have caused the loop to break?
4) The burning of the tape seemed to be the reason they could exit the loop, but I'm confused about this explanation because since they had prevented CYR's death, and XZQ won't be coming back, the future has already changed and not burning the tape wouldn't have made a difference?

Yes yes yes!!! I've already been enjoying the first 8 episodes, but then you guys say that the REAL story starts after ep.8. I'm sure it'll be one hell of a ride. I am so looking forward to seeing how things will play out as the mystery gradually unfolds :)

I'm also a big big fan of Nine and Signal!!! This drama is the only time travel drama in recent years that I felt was on par with the former two. Loved the twists and the intricate plot that was well-thought out and planted.

I'm on ep.8 and I'm confused about something. The timeline that's been shown up till now, it's actually a loop/cycle? Everything that happens in the future is related to the past and everything that happens in the past is related to the future, so it becomes an infinite loop of chicken or egg. Without spoiling to me what happens next, can someone answer me if this loophole gets a reasonable explanation to it in the later episodes? Just answering yes or no will do, thanks!
