Totally agree. Just wanted to share a fun fact though:This is considered to be the first BL drama announced to…
Really? I wonder why…. “Love Stage” was redone by Thailand before this one. I thought the original webtoon was considered a BL. I would not count “Antique Bakery” because it is not a BL, but LBGTQ character. Thanks for sharing that!!
Palm’s mom. I can relate to her feelings of leaving her child and husband. When you are young, it can be very overwhelming to maintain a husband and a child. Especially when you haven’t truly lived and you feel trapped in the monotony of the day to day. Yes it is part of life and people must get over it. But not everyone is equipped with the emotional stability to handle it. Mom recognized she couldn’t handle it and left. It was the best decision at the time, and I can’t blame her. I suppose it could have been worse. I can appreciate them breaking the norm of the “Deadbeat Dad” trope, although Palm’s dad is also a piece of work.
Damn this episode gave me the feels. I’m not ready to go back to reality when they leave the island.
lol the unforgotten night one was the best so far lol
Hahahahahahaha yes that one was awesome. I felt bad for the show because everyone was comparing it to “KinnPorsche.” I guess they didn’t realize they were filming around the same time and not trying to compete with each other.
I don’t care what the comments say. I love KamolKim.
These comments are hilarious. Especially the ones acting like this is the first time a drama is getting remade by another culture….. sometimes the comment section is its own drama!
I don’t know about you, but the best part of this series is that Tinn is becoming more and more involved in ALL things Chinzilla. He did the music video audition and participated in the dance cover for Yo. He is genuinely interested in doing these things to help Gun and the music club. Even his willingness to ask his rival to join the club is admirable. He is one of the most dedicated love interests I have seen in a long time. He may have even surpassed Mork. I’m so torn right now.
I’m not quite sure what to think about NuerSyn scene. I love a well done fumbling first time, but why did this one leave me so unsatisfied, yet satisfied? When the other couples had their first time, it was a serious affair, but they made their first time into a joke that missed the punchline. Has Nuer and Syn not kissed for the few years they have been together? How did Syn manage to cause Nuer so much pain? Why am I so focused on this couple? At least they got a whole 5 minutes this time. Syn’s nervousness and Nuer’s confidence was the perfect combination.
How is Thi still being a wimp though and not stepping in and helping? Sorry but he needs to do better as a tutor…
I’m sorry I have to disagree. This is all Noey’s doing. He has been told several times to stop being a thug, but he has cared more about his image and gang than anything else. (He’s a teenager so no hard feelings.) It is not Thi’s responsibility to jump into a fight with 8 guys to help defend Noey. Just like Noey would never run away from a fight, Thi would never jump into one. Hopefully Noey learns from this and changes his ways as he is realizing his actions are affecting his family. Just like he couldn’t automatically change his grades from a month of tutoring, it’s going to take some time for him to find alternatives to the conflicts he faces.
I know this is high school, but damn Army. I hope that Joe gets some sort of revenge for what Army did to him. I did not expect that level of betrayal, and I felt the hurt along with Joe. I’m even more annoyed that Joe forgave Army courtesy of a hand job. And on top of everything, Army didn’t actually seem that sorry. The hell Joe must have faced afterward makes my skin crawl. #JusticeforJoe #justanothergaystereotype
I understand why you'd might think that way but assigning weakness as a trait of women is gender stereotyping…
I was just ranting about this…. I can’t stand when writers intentionally force gender stereotypes onto characters…. And here we have a show that does not do that, especially with Thi. I have never felt they gave him feminine characteristics nor presented him as the woman in the relationship.…. Viewers scream they want progression and change, but then criticize when there is. Thi is not a weak character. Being non-confrontational does not equate to weakness nor is Noey strong because he likes to fight. But he would barely graduate high school with the rate he was going. We as viewers project these images whether the writer stereotypes characters or not. Thank you for your comment.
Alex raped Jean. Jean being drunk, Alex being drunk and drugged does not change the fact that Alex raped Jean.…
Agree 1000%. I understand the thoughts of trying to portray “realism” and the aftermath is quite real. The fact that Jean is forced to bear the burden of that night while Alex is applauded. But these people make shows that have the ability to influence audiences. They chose to stick with flawed perception, societal norms, and gendered stereotypes instead of showing what should happen in these situations.
Ultimately, Alex will be redeemed and him and Jean will live happily ever after. She will realize that Alex truly didn’t do anything wrong because he apologizes for his actions. An apology is not enough to redeem him. I’m glad he realizes what he did was wrong, but is it because he feels remorse for Jean or because he may be able to get his orgasm back? Regardless, his apology will seem insincere.
The whole BS with Army was wrong too. Afraid people will see him as gay so he paints Joe as a stereotypical gay guy who assaulted him unexpectedly. And Joe forgives because, again, an orgasm is all consuming and he wasn’t thinking straight?? Bullshit! It’s like they are trying to reinforce stereotypical behavior.
Alex raped Jean. Jean being drunk, Alex being drunk and drugged does not change the fact that Alex raped Jean.…
You should not get hate for this and I’m happy you expressed your thoughts on this. Unfortunately, the culture around it is very slippery because of the differing views on what constitutes as consent. Thank all the powered that exist that the audience doesn’t get to choose what consent and non-consent is. I’m from the US and Alex would be held accountable regardless if he was drunk or not. One thing I like about some of the laws, is that rape does not require intent. So even if Alex “didn’t intend” to rape Jean, it doesn’t matter because she said no and he should have stopped.
The writing is incredibly clever, but so wrong on many levels. I’m glad there are people like you who can call BS when they see it. The writers intentionally had Jean revoke consent right before Alex’s orgasm so that Alex has sympathy from the audience. I’m sure Alex didn’t intend to rape Jean because she did provide the initial consent, and for her to revoke it right before….. well how would he have had the power to stop? I’m so tired of this idea that sex is so all consuming, men have no control over themselves. Just utter bullshit. This also ties in to the victim blaming and reinforces the notion that it is the woman’s responsibility to protect herself by not drinking and maintaining this puritan appearance 24/7. This situation is also “different” than the violence that is associated with rape. It doesn’t matter if the penetration is only a second, with a finger, an inch deep…. It is still rape.
People had the same views with “KinnPorsche” and “History4.” Sorry folks but both instances were unethical. Had to get that off my chest because this episode had me fired up.
When I watched Joe and Army’s shower scene, I couldn’t fathom what compelled the guy to pull back the curtain. He didn’t listen in for a bit to try to determine what was going on, he just pulled the curtain back.
Yesterday, we heard a huge commotion in the boys bathroom. One student screaming at the other calling him gay slurs and other names. Turns out boy 1 was masturbating in the stall and boy 2 stepped on the toilet to see what was going on. Boy 2 could not explain what compelled him to look. He just wanted to check it out. I could not contain my laughter (after sending the kid to the office, of course) because it just seemed so bizarre.
What happened? The teaser was so exciting and the new trailer is so conventional and watered down. I hope they're…
I was actually looking forward to the infidelity storyline.. it was portrayed as an actual storyline versus a casually thrown in conflict because they had nothing better to write….. yes I am referencing “Check Out” the series that made cheating a joke.
It depends on whether you want Nut to end up with his first love, Tathan or his teddy bear, Taohue. I loved the…
I apologize ahead of time if this is too much spoiler. Taohue is a teddy bear gifted to Nut from Tathan. When Tathan falls in a coma, the bear comes alive to provide Nut physical and emotional comfort. Nut and Taohue enter into a relationship where he is able to face, reflect, and move on from his experiences with his homophobic and abusive father. Taohue also helps Nut repair the relationship with mother. Eventually, Tathan wakes up from the coma and Taohue dies and returns to a teddy bear. Nut and Tathan become a couple again. People hated this ending, but I felt it was on appropriate.
The reason it was rushed is because we never actually see Nut and Tathan reconcile. Taohue dying and going back to a teddy bear may not have hurt so bad if they had shown Nut and Tathan together and confessing how they felt. We know from the entire show they never got over each other, but forced to break up. We only see them years later as a happy couple, so it was disappointing to me. We do get a chance to see how they met and got together, so that part was nice. Really a fantastic show that addresses domestic abuse, mental illness, relationships, homophobia, and so many other topics. Gather a cozy blanket, 4 boxes of tissues, and a comfort animal.
can someone lemme know whether this has a happy ending or not? im very sensitive and i legit cannot watch sad…

ppl here blaming ben.... remember these are high school boys. not all family will be able to accept if their son…
The people who blame Ben are 100% transparent and have no secrets because they can tell their parents everything. Ben was not mature enough to handle the consequences of his confession to Nueng, and he probably didn’t think Nueng would be interested because of the wall Nueng maintains. Once Nueng accepted Ben’s feelings, Ben was so focused on progressing, that he failed to consider what may happen if people found out about the relationship.
You can argue that Ben did initiate everything with Nueng and even promised to protect Nueng if ever in danger. I can relate to the false promises of men. My first boyfriend promised we would be together forever, and he dumped me for the new girl. It doesn’t matter that we were only seven at the time because my heart was broken just the same.
