Definitely not as bad as “Check Out.” I liked “Unforgotten Night,” but didn’t care for “Oh My Sunshine Night.”

For this one some of the logic doesn’t make sense, so it is average. I can get past that because I care more about characters. They are well written.

I’ll concede because I didn’t expect that major brawl. Palm could have apologized for Nueng spilling the drink instead of delivering the kick of death. I get teens are impulsive and he did it to protect Nueng, but damn. I don’t expect there to be security and a Senior Dance Center, but why the hell is there a bunch of gangsters there in the first place? Enjoying time with the grandmas? I’m not even sure I would call that writing formulaic because at least most of the time writer put the fights in the right places.

I feel the same about Ohm and Fluke. I don’t mind them individually, but I don’t see the strength behind their ship. They are definitely a successful pairing because they have a cult following, but I just can’t get behind them as a couple. I look forward to the day that ship capsizes. It could be all the not so great dramas they have starred in since “Until We meet Again,” but I was there for Earth and Kao.

I don’t mind Pond and Phuwin because I liked the characters they played in “Fish Upon the Sky.” I could get over the mediocre acting because the script writing was decent for the characters.

They are trying to turn a high school drama into an adult themed show, and it isn’t really working well. The heirs to a major conglomerate only having one body guard for protection is completely unrealistic. In addition, asking one teenaged child to protect another teenaged child without any real skill is a kidnapping, assault, and/or fake friends waiting to happen.

I love the show so far because I’m pretty easy to please, but I also understand the criticisms. And if it turns out the mother was behind it, then I’m going to lose a bit of my faith in the writers because that is OTT for this show.

We all know there is going to be a time jump before they can be together, but I just hope “Our Sky 2” isn’t a 5 years later type episode like the “Edge of 17” episode.

I’d like to make a formal request for the kissing coach for “Love in the Air” or “Ghost Host, Ghost House” to direct the kissing scenes of the remainder of BLs produced. These stiff lip kisses are ruining it for me. I almost would rather have a camera angle kiss or a lip touch over the stiff lips.

Nueng’s bathtub scene was the 2nd best in this episode. It was all too relatable him thinking about the two boys he likes. The first: pure sexual attraction that gives him goosebumps and a hard-on just thinking about. The second: based on mutual interests, comfort, and that person liking him first.

Yes, yes, and yes! Perceptive analysis of a well-rounded character, who is written incredibly well thus far. I appreciate you looking at his character for who he is versus how we expect him to behave. There are so many mitigating circumstances, as you pointed out above, that cannot be overlooked. He is under insurmountable pressure at 17, and even adults struggle to keep it together. Well adults can’t stay out of prison. Adults can’t keep their composure when faced with obstacles. And we are holding teenagers to the same standard??? I think people forget this is high school and they have all these expectations that high schooler should think and behave as adults.

I have to say I love that he already recognizes his attraction and blooming feelings for Palm, (why else would he try to intentionally hurt Palm in his drunk-fueled jealous rage?) and that he recognizes the complications because he also has positive feelings toward Ben. One is a clear right choice and the other, although more desirable, comes at a higher cost. But it will be one of very few choices Neung can make independent of his family.

Okay I totally agree about Nut! I was reluctant to watch “Something in My Room,” until I saw a clip of Nut and Seng as an office couple. His role was small, but he performed well. After watching SIMR, I am looking forward to seeing Nut in future shows.

And PhuKao was a well done side couple. I saw they are supposed to be in a new series, so I hope they don’t ax it.

This comment coming from you means so much because I cannot remember the last comment I have read of you praising a BL like this. I love that you don’t auto praise a show just because it stars your favorite ship, so this has definitely made its way to the top of the watch list!

It’s a GL series. The GL couple from “Secret Crush on You” are the lead couple.

5 months later, I’m not coming for you. I think the thing that bothers me the most is that Fiat is dragged through the mud for being promiscuous. There are a dozens of reasons why promiscuity is a terrible life practice, but he did not maintain that life style once he got with Leo. Yes he made mistakes and did something he isn’t proud of, but I don’t think it makes him unredeemable. It is clear that Fiat loves Leo and he truly wanted to be a better person to be good enough to be Leo’s boyfriend. Fiat recognized how amazing Leo is and refused to let anything else come between them. We can see Leo’s growth when he finally faces his past trauma and apologizes to Dad, Aunt Fei, and his little sister. When he hides his jealousy and insecurities when he catches Leo kissing that girl. The way he tries to protect Leo by sleeping with King to save the basketball season. Fiat’s character is written as helpless and it seems he is not able to make the best decisions with ought having someone like Leo in his corner. Unfortunately Fiat’s lifestyle caught up with him, but it is through the karma that Fiat is able to recognize the error of his ways and how detrimental his behaviors have been. He didn’t even realize that he hurt Aunt Fei to the point of almost losing his little sister. Fiat’s behaviors are definitely selfish, but also out of loneliness.

I don’t love his behaviors, but I can empathize with both Fiat and Leo.

I’m so happy you voiced this…. And don’t forget how such an influential family only has another 17 yo to protect their only son. They must have rose colored glasses on and not believe tragedy can get to them now. It is definitely one of the strangest details that I can’t decide is intentional or completely overlooked.

I planned to rewatch this just to be sure it was really that bad. I did that with “Oxygen” and it wasn’t as terrible as I remembered. Then I read across this comment, and I just cannot continue this venture right now. I am trying so hard to catch my breath after reading this. I’m probably going to secretly stalk your comments because they bring me so much joy.

It feels like people forget these men are in college and still in a place where this type of relationship drama is at an all time high. Had they been in their 30s and 40s, I would be more annoyed by the jealousy, pettiness, and tantrums. But the drama they have in their relationships is nothing outrageous. Some of their reactions to situations are silly, such as Fourth and Beam competing to see who gets the most numbers, is such a guy thing. They resolve the various conflicts rather quickly and don’t let them drag on. Even Panon’s sense of duty to his brother is understandable. There is jealously, but I haven’t seen it reach a level that is unmanageable. Hot guys attend a college full of hot guys (and girls). Of course there is going to be jealously and insecurity. Lom’s entire character is based on superficial insecurity too. The entire Moon contest perpetuates those feelings, so I get it. I was hoping we were going to get a surprise 2 extra episodes, but damn.

People tend to jump straight to “ if it were me, I would…” and not look at the characters and story holistically. I’ve been in my relationship for 14 years and still struggle with communication. It’s part of my personality, not that I’m refusing to or being dense. Even if this is fiction, I hope viewers can take more time to understand a character before immediately criticizing them. Even villains have their reasons for their unscrupulous actions.

Phayu and Rain effectively ruined BL for us. We are never going to rid our minds of the tongue fuck they both added to the scene spur of the moment. Now every time I watch a BL I am going to expect that level of commitment and my face will get cracked each and every time…. Damn them and all the BL powers of the universe. Whoever their kiss coach is needs to be hired on every BL production moving forward.

Can we be best friends???!!! Gosh you have voiced so many of the internal thoughts that I don’t have the energy to voice and debate. Everything you said had me in my feels. I will deal with every BL and LGBTQ show they put out, but I am getting more aggravated with the fan service. Ugh it is getting so OTT…. I’m so glad you pointed out the types of BLs too. We can have hot kisses and sex AND a good story. People make it out to be you can only have one or the other, and I refuse to accept it.

UWMA is an interesting story and worth the watch for EarthKao. Fluke can definitely act, but I agree that OhmFluke just never worked out for me. And I’m not sure who the fan base is for 2gether and SOTUS. They maybe classics, but definitely not for me. You are the best.
