I got a feeling it was Chopper. Can't wait to find out.
Gosh that would be so cruel and good. Where was he to not be seen by Palm? I guess it doesn’t matter because Nueng is about to run the company so f the high school drama.
Side note: I also can’t wait for them to reveal who is responsible for the parent’s deaths. I am almost tempted to believe it is Palm’s father. He only managed to get shot in the shoulder and he keeps missing the shooter. Hahaha but of course it’s going to be the uncle.
Gosh both Ben and Nueng lost… I don’t blame Ben for refusing to admit to Dad he likes Nueng. I think he forgot that regardless of how Dad feels, he still has to deal with the kids at school. And the betrayal: “Nueng doesn’t need a bodyguard. He has me to protect him.” Sorry Ben, but you couldn’t deliver.
Damn I can’t wait until they reveal who outed them…. at least Nueng still has Palm.
Contrary to what you say, Cha Jung Woo did not stop writing for 3 years. Because his compulsion to write was so…
Yes. And this was a secret between the two that no one else knew, but it doesn’t negate that it is deceptive and fraud. Notice that Cha Jung Woo’s feelings toward Kim Jung Hyun didn’t change.
Contrary to what you say, Cha Jung Woo did not stop writing for 3 years. Because his compulsion to write was so…
1. We all know that Cha Jung Woo didn’t stop writing…. It is revealed that he published his works under Kim Jung Hyun’s name. However, this is not revealed until the end of the show, so viewers are under the impression he stopped writing.
2. Although Cha Jung Woo’s intentions are not to “bolster the reputation” of Kim Jung Hyun, it is still a form of dishonesty and fraud. And when someone is receiving credit for another’s work, they are going to receive the rewards and criticism. Because the novels are received with such positive reviews, Kim Jung Hyun is getting his reputation bolstered whether intentional or not. This also doesn’t change the lack of true closure from the incident. Unless the purpose is to show that ghost writing isn’t a major concern and Cha Hung Woo’s seniors were just being vindictive because they were outed.
I agree with some of the points you presented and it does explain some behaviors. But remember, none of this is revealed until the very end, so we have no choice but to view things based on behaviors prior to the big reveal.
1. Damn they have such a great wardrobe. They manage to look sexy and professional at the same time. Even when they show excessive skin, it doesn’t look trashy.
2. How in the hell these dramas manage the perfect level of bubbles in their bubble baths? I can barely manage a thin layer, but theirs cover their privates.
Side note: IdolFactory has come out with two outstanding dramas thus far. I’m really gonna miss Seng.
I like that this is trying something other than schoolboys, but there is less than zero chemistry between the…
I’m going out on a limb here that this show is AMAZING, but the kissing sucks??? The kiss scenes are the only thing being talked about at the moment. I haven’t started it yet because it’s so short, but now I’m getting anxious.
I have déja vu experience of peer pressure that is way too typical on this board (notably when Bite Me was airing…
The only actor I have every really called “bad” is Chen Nhai from “Ai Long Nhai.” What made him bad was his crying scenes, but they fit his character so well that I was looking forward to him crying over Aiyaret. I couldn’t tell if the bad crying was intentionally part of the character or was due to him being a bad crier. This was his first role, but I’m still convinced his character was supposed to be like that.
Ohhh I will add that to watch because I like Phuwin, Jan, and Fluke. I saw the iconic locker room scene inspired by “Queer as Folk” and I died.
It would be interesting if Palm was not what we think he is : in love and with good intention towards Nueng. And…
I would be so into that plot twist. The only way for it to work would be for them to graduate from high school and Nueng to actually start running the company. Essentially a continuation of their parents relationship. Palm doesn’t have enough power to exact revenge on Nueng especially since they are only in high school. And if his aim is to make the rest of high school miserable…. Well that would mean the writers got lazy and uninspired.
It’s actually sad that Palm has been reunited with his father and his father treats him as an employee/servant. Palm is incredibly humble and endures so much from this family that they had better make a plot twist like that realistic and logical. At this point, I cannot see him as a villain.

Hmm that’s interesting how you put it. I don’t find that exclusive to Thai culture at all. In many cultures you will see friends jump in a fight in bars and schools. That didn’t strike me as odd, especially since alcohol was involved. Nothing good comes from drunk teens or adults. It’s funny how critics complain about that scene, but Nueng getting bullied or Palm drop kicking robbers is perfectly normal hahaha
I don’t see the criticism of his acting either. The language barrier is the only thing I could think of that would cause the harsh criticisms. I think he conveys the correct emotions for the context of the story, but I’m not an actor, so I couldn’t tell you if he is in the running for an acting award.

Do you think it is because most of the viewers don’t speak Thai, so they don’t get the nuance of the language because translations aren’t a two-way street?
They kissed in a public space where anyone could have been witness. Phum made a disparaging comment about Palm…
I agree with you for sure. At the end of the day, we know Nueng and Palm are endgame, so I’m glad the kiss had no fire. It’ll be sweeter when it is extinguished.
do you have to watch until we meet again before watching between us?
I’m with the minority on this one. “Until We Meet Again” spent a total of 20 minutes on TeamWin in 17 episodes. I’m not sure you will really miss much if you watch “Between Us” first or skip UWMA altogether. UWMA focused on Pharm and Dean’s relationship, ABCDEFG didn’t exist in UWMA, and Mannow’s relationship developed at the very end. Even the red thread comment someone pointed out is not exclusive to UWMA. A Google search on red thread will give you plenty of information on it’s meaning. TeamWin had such a small role, that you would be spending hours watching it, and your understanding of “Between Us” wouldn’t change. It is a good show so I recommend to watch, but not for the sake of understanding this one.
I don't see why folks are bothered about a kiss with the second lead being lacklustre when we don't even know…
They kissed in a public space where anyone could have been witness. Phum made a disparaging comment about Palm being Nueng’s boyfriend when Palm defended Nueng. Clearly he has an issue with same sex relationships indicative of his tone and the context. Had anyone other than Palm been there, it would have been all over the school, and Nueng would have been subjected to more bullying.
Since Palm was the one to witness the kiss, it did aid in developing both plot and characters. We get Palm’s cold shoulder toward Nueng and Nueng’s drunken jealousy rage. Both boys are attracted to each other, but are unable to acknowledge it because of the power dynamic in their relationship. Palm is a servant of Nueng and doesn’t see himself as worthy to even have those feelings. And Nueng has found someone who likes him first who is reliable and safe. Him and Ben have common interests, and Ben is the first person to be genuinely nice to Nueng. Nueng is torn between his sexual desires toward Palm and his need for companionship with Ben.
The quality of the kiss may be a very small flaw in presentation, but the scene itself is everything, which is why I think people are stuck on the quality. That and they have seen so many better kisses in GMMTV actors they question why accept a BL role if you can’t deliver the bare minimum.
It’s okay if you love PhuwinPond and it’s okay if you dislike them. Everyone has different ships that sets their sails same as different tropes that bring them joy. BL lovers is such a small community, and MDL has created a space for viewers to discuss a genre they love. How many of you have friends you can converse with about BL? How many of your friends looked at you weird when acknowledging you watch BL. Many commenters forget that this is a discussion form, and oftentimes, tone and intent is unable to be conveyed appropriately online. I like to believe that there is only a small portion of people on this forum who have unscrupulous intentions when posting, and most commenters just want to express an opinion because this is the only space they can. Whether their opinions about these shows are positive or negative, it doesn’t matter because it shouldn’t affect your viewing experience and you can choose to reply or ignore the comments. I appreciate a many of the views and interpretations and it is through this that we connect to one another. Plus MDL takes up a lot of my leisure time, and ai live in the comment section.

FUTS is one of my favorite stories. Especially adding in the enemies to lover trope. Their acting was fine for me too and not something I would not watch over.
Sometimes the overly goofy characters annoy me, and you are spot on with Neo. But I loved him in Eclipse. I am glad they decided to change his BL partner for the new series because I like him as an actor, just not in FUTS.

I’m glad to see that you give the dramas a chance despite your feelings toward the ship. Sometimes a ship hits different in different shows, so I will watch to see if I get a different feeling. I also love side couples, so even if Ohm and Fluke aren’t my favorite, I may still watch their shows even if only for the side couples. They can also act even if I’m not into their actual relationship.
I’m probably the worst person to reply because I’m very easy to please. My top ones I’m watching:1. “Ai…
I agree that “Secret Crush on You” is cringy at first, but it does get better. What made this show a winner for me is that one of the ML is your typical popular hot jock, and the 2nd ML is nerdy and unattractive (as portrayed in the show). They are two guys you would never see together, but become a couple and the other two pairings are atypical for BLs. One uses she/her pronouns and is paired with a guy who doesn’t care that she is hella effeminate. The other is a popular jock who is paired with a wallflower who used to be overweight. All the characters who would normally be used for comic relief are portrayed as real people who deserve just as much love as attractive people.
As for “2 Moons 3,” I am already committed after watching the first two, so I refuse to back out. The acting is mediocre and the plot is comical. Everyone is jealous and attract drama. I love that Yo is taller than Pha.
just finished "big dragon" and "oh my assistant!", saw this BL few minutes ago and considering giving a try since…
I do hope they do a better job with season 2 by keeping the drama contained. I was dying in episode 7 because Mangkorn was doing ALL the work and Yai was just sitting there. I need to take a break from watching BLs because I have seen 99% of the ones that have been released since 2017 or so ( excluding Philippine ). It’s probably why I’m easy to please.
Pie and Phet finally get together after 17.5 episodes and their moment is unlubricated in the backyard against a window. This seemed more like a one night stand than a potential couple. And I’m sorry Pie; your kiss was no better than Phet’s kiss.

These are not in any particular order for preference.
