I totally used to be this type of a watcher, unable to give up but then I grew out of it and now if don't like something I can drop it even at the last episode, for example I didn't watch the last episode of Legend of the Blue Sea for almost 4 years now and I used to keep it in my currently watching list until I decided that was it and moved it my dropped list.
Sometimes things just don't work out whether it be in real life or a drama plot and I've learned the hard way that letting it go is good, hard but for the long run you are wasting lot less time on bs.
Giving a second chance sometimes can result in jackpot but after the third time it is simply forcing yourself to be something you are not. I am not a saint so why would I try to find a singular good point about a drama or a character that practically bores or irritates me to death, it's just not worth it, though leaving comments on it totally a stress reliever that much I admit but again the cause of that stress is also lies in the drama itself sooooo, idk.

I totally binge watched it since yesterday and all I can say that I do regret watching it... this late, what the hell was I doing last year.
Shin Hye Sun has my heart, I'm completely and utterly floored by her presence, she is that good.
I love plot ridden dramas and complex characters but this drama while checking no boxes in my list still made it's way right into my heart. Though I find the plot development a lot lacking the feelings this drama left with me is precious as is.

I've been binge watching this since last night and gosh, I'm beyond hooked, I was quite apprehensive to watch due to age gap and divorce topics but I think I am in love with this drama. Everything is done so well that I'm heartbroken, happy, angry, depressed and over the moon all at the same time, I'm going a little bit crazy but it's okay :')

p.s. Lee Do Hyun *sigh* he is so charming on the screen that it just doesn't make any sense , I've seen in 3 projects and he freaking nailed every single one of them, I just love it so much whenever good actors/actresses emerge to the k-drama scene, hopefully newbies like him can get more chances to shine in the future.

I'm still waiting for this to end so that I can finally start to watch it, anyone else?

SeonGyeom is that puppy you want to raise and Danah is the one you wish to be raised by, I'm surprised how much I actually adore all the characters which rarely happens to me, this drama may not have grandiose plot but it is well beyond charming and makes me feel good, and at the end of the day I think for me that what matters the most.

Sacrificing the minority for the sake of the majority, it may seem noble and righteous on the surface until you became the minority.
King's aid said that "as long as the outcome is good method to achieve it also becomes righteous even if it is cruel. And you can't fight the Kim clan with normal methods."
But, I disagree, no matter how good the outcome is what is cruel is cruel, it is hypocritical to present that fact with bows and sparkles.
The king might be doing what he has to do for "the greater good" ( which I think is BS and btw he himself also accepted he might be in the wrong by bundling the queen with the rest of the kim clan) , nevertheless it doesn't change the fact that he was a jerk towards to the queen( kindly read this part with attention as I never said that he was a jerk as a King/towards his people, the part in my first comment was a generalization and my reply clearly explained at point I regard him as a jerk), there is no need to defend nor justify his actions.

Also, "he is not in love with his concubine" what, excuse me, if what they have is not how a mutual relationship looks like I don't know what it is.?

The moment he tried to kill her he became a jerk to the female lead, but also my sentence was a generalization of a typical, that annoying person turned into my love interest situation, not that male lead is a garbage all around.
Also I've regarded him as a jerk for another reason which is the "romantic" interest he is starting to show towards to the queen in episode 5 despite the fact he is so in love with his concubine, hence he is also becoming a jerk to his concubine, and since this is a drama with a fantasy element in its core I'm disregarding the fact that polygamy was a huge thing back then.

I've read the whole tread and now I'm curious;
Let's assume that every being has a soul and at some point have been reincarnated to a new life but they have no memory of their past lives.
So, my questions are;
Would their current personalities and inherent inclinations would be any different had they no past life at all?
Are their experiences being engraved into their souls rather than just being memories of their current body, as there is gradually reaching the wholeness in Daoism hence reincarnation of the soul in different vassals, and are their souls have any qualities that would differentiate one from another or are they just blank sheet of papers, all equal to one another at the creation?

I'm having way too much fun watching this but I really don't want queen to fall in love with the king, I don't want them to be together, not even if the original queen were to come back.
I'm hoping for queen's harem to emerge instead of a classical jerk male mutt became somewhat human and our lovely female(or male lead in this case XD) lead fall for him since she had no other choice scenario.

EDIT: People just refuse to read my point properly and then twist it to their own liking, I'm just done. You can't be a good person to everyone and also there is clearly no need to be that benevolent either, but that just doesn't change the FACT THAT YOU ARE INDEED NOT A GOOD PERSON TO SOMEONE, in this case, the king isn't a good person or at least wasn't a good person to the queen, pointing that out doesn't make me someone who criticizes something without reason or rhyme. And, yes, this is a historical setting, it is not fair to evaluate characters out of their current surroundings yet the queen or rather the mr. queen is from future, hence my point of view was in accordance with hers. I don't see any problem with this and I won't be replying to any of the comments furthermore, as it is counter productive to try to make each person to understand my point even after making my self clear already. At the end of the day each person to its own.

They have their own strengths and weaknesses, these two dramas just made into top3 of my all time favorites so IMO just go ahead and watch this one too, for I'll be re-watching both of them after my finals. I'm literally obsessed with both of them.

This show is so on point, I really hope that it can keep this humor till the very end as 20 episodes of air time can thin out even the best plot.
Also fingers crossed for no romance between the leads(if og queen comes back), cause I just can't f*cking deal with two women fighting over a worthless man, though if they go with a BL(Bong Hwan staying as the queen) route I might just sit back and have fun :)

I think it was Sang Wook, since his desire/complex might've be his scars hence his turning triggered the healing of his skin just like Han Du Sik's feet returning to normal.

I haven't read the webtoon and I enjoyed this show immensely, it reminded me of Tokyo Ghoul, which I adore to bits, but after your rant I'll definitely check out the webtoon too.

He was infected as well hence he choose to stay back.

p.s. it f*cking broke my heart when he looked at their family photo.

This just became my favorite drama ever, it just blew me away, what a way to finish 2020. I hope this gets a 2nd season, no, this needs to have a second season.
I'm a die hard fan of Tokyo Ghoul and this drama hits a certain thread that TG has in my heart, this is just done beautifully, sigh.

This is fun, just what I needed.

I almost despise romance in crime/investigation dramas as it usually takes away from the real plot line or even completely overshadows it, as if the writer was planning to write a romance drama yet the s/he was ordered to write about thriller due to demand, but I'm kinda itching for it happen in this drama.
NGM is always playing that lone warrior type of a character which I truly love to watch as he executes it to perfection yet I wouldn't mind him taking a more emotionally(as in he interacts with others on a more humane level rather that trying to shoulder the whole world on his own)/romantically involved character now and then.
Also, as "childish" as Hye Won may be to some people I'm loving her character, aside from that ridiculous shooting the truck scene at the beginning so far as the part of the police force she's been doing her job quite appropriately and IMO Seolhyun is doing a good job portraying her, she really fits to her role.
And Jamie, she is freaking so cute, I can get a whole series about her and it would be fun, Chung Ah has a charm that makes you want to see more of her.
Also, I'm really pumped up to see more of Jamie/Jae Woong/Jung Woo trio's relationship.

I'm kinda pissed off with all that "I have to save Jiah" mantra, I get how everyone has someone dear to them which in turn effects their decisions regarding their priorities but from the stand point of a by passer I think everything was beyond unfair to normal humans.
Jiah has made her choice 600 years ago by saving her father and it was only normal that she gave up something in return. But because of Lee Yeon's obsession countless human lives were lost for the sake of preserving Jiah's life. I think, he should've faced more serious consequences of his choices. He became the sword of netherworld as a punishment yet even then he couldn't kill his brother who has slaughtered the whole village which was an obvious abuse of his position. When Lee Yeon had met Lee Rang again, Lee Rang was still a piece of sh*t who could kill a dozen people without a hitch, remember the bus accident, he f*king took their lives for nothing yet Lee Yeon did not kill him again. YET, that wolf girl who was going to marry at the beginning of the series wasn't let off despite the seeming fact that she has turned a new page in her life. Anyways, you get my point.

I think both of the leads were beyond selfish for me to actually root for their happiness yet it doesn't mean that I didn't like them. If anything their hypocrisy made them more real, likeable and which is why I actually wanted Imoogi to live as well.
He was selfish and ruthless, he wanted to sit on a throne yet was destined to crawl and I really liked him for all the filth he had inside his soul. I mean Lee Rang could get his redemption why not him. I'm not trying to justify his evil actions yet I don't condemn them either, it's weird, I don't know. He is like the darkness inside of all of us, something born out of all the unwanted parts of humanity which is scary but also pitiful to some extent. Even he had two sides to himself so who is to say that he can't start a new page in his life too.

I admire the Gatekeeper Grandma as she chose to do what her position demanded her to via killing her son's wife so I don't get why everyone ( her husband especially) is blaming her left and right. Everyone expected her to yield which is beyond unfair, absurd and annoying. She is supposedly the god that bridges to worlds, how could you expect her to govern according to your wishes. She has already tried her best in her own style yet even then Lee Yeon shamelessly asked for more time, I'm mad that she was actually going help him at the end and I'm glad that it didn't work out.

Overall I loved this drama for it's thriller almost Grim Brothers style gloomy fairytale of story telling and hated it for it's classical cliché happy ending, those people in the broadcasting station, the one in the same floor with our characters, have all died yet not even a single side character that was important to female lead was sacrificed. How unfair to those countless lives that died in vain, what a tragedy, this should've been a tragedy to our leads too not happily ever after.

This was on my plan to watch list for a long time and yesterday it suddenly came to my mind again, out of curiosity I've started the episode 1 and today I've finished the whole thing.
I could probably watch another 16 episodes or even more of this. This was just way too good, I'm not into sports dramas at all but this one had that perfect balance between a sports drama and an office one, each episode flowed like pure water and the acting, sigh, all of the actors were just perfect and the chemistry between the whole cast was on point.
