There's something I absolutely hate about this drama. Manager Oh (Ahn Dong Goo) is pining after Ji Song even after…
This plot is kinda weird. I wouldn't be against him trying to win her over, but so far she still seems kinda happy with Wei Lin, and in no way looking for another partner? I really don't know how it will be developed in the future. Will she break up with Wei Lin cause he's cheating (but then again, it would be the same thing that happened to first female lead) or cause she will have different financial goals from him? There's not a lot of eps left for that AND falling for the assistant manager
Honestly didn't expect this series to bring one of the most realistic (and hot) romances in kdramas. Like, when have I last seen flirting in a drama?? Instead of "no I don't really like you" bullshit? I'm living for the main couple!
I know that he plays the same mean-to-lovable character in every show, but I just can't look away from Kim Young Dae. Whether it's his charisma or looks, I don't care. He's so damn attractive.
Tbh, I wasn't the biggest fan of Reset - it got boring and repetetive to me in the final eps. Also I haate when a time-loop drama takes a whole episode, or even two, for a character to realize they are in a loop and they can't escape. So I wasn't coming into this one with huge expectations. But it turned out really great, fast-paced, no repetetiveness whatsoever, the plot (although sometimes questionable in how little time some actions took) was also pretty well put together.
Also as a sidenote, I try not to comment on actors' looks, but let me say, for a cdrama actor (with many of them starving to look good in a costume drama) BJT's physique looks very nice, especially in those action scenes.
My only gripe with this show is that it's too fast paced, ep 5 could be two separate episodes tbh. The second is the looming theat over the ML. I see no way for his character to end up alive at the end of the series. Not with the foreshadowing "I wish I took that bullet for you"...
I find the pace of the romance very fitting and the chemistry incredible. She just lost her husband, yeah, but I think she was lying to herself when she said that supporting his career is enough for her. Also the fact that he was keeping secrets, and not respecting her wishes (about running alone) means he didn't think about her as a competent and trustworthy partner. Not to mention their views didn't totally align with each other. And now she found a respecting, supportive, competent and swoony guy who is by her side at the most crucial moments when she is not supressing her ambition anymore. She is grieving, sure, but I don't think it's necessary to grieve for eternity.
Controversial opinion, but rather than Iraqi and Chinese people, the ones who were depicted the worst so far (I'm at ep 4) and have the biggest reason to be mad at the show, are the Americans lol.
I'd rather watch a show about Hwa Yeong unni, instead of these dense sisters (In Hye being at least somewhat resourceful). Really hard to stomach, I don't usually watch a show sped up, but here I really wished I did
On episode 9 and yikes the older sisters are dumber and dumb (switch bc In Joo, dear god, she's dense). The youngest…
In Joo has nothing going for her. In kyung at least has a head for economics and her morality. In Joo is not even a good accountant. I hoped she will get some development eventually but nah...
Regarding episode 9: Employments contracts with no base salary are a recipe for exploitation. The fact that Yullim's…
Yeah, but this is partners we're talking about. Unless they are just starting, or are doing pro bono cases, they should be bringing big clients, that's their job. More even than leading cases. They are most likely already rich people already. And to become an equity partner and get a share in the profits, they have to bring their own money to the table as well. So we're not talking about associates who don't really have an impact on what projects are being brought to the firm.
Honestly the whole twin detail sounded interesting at the start but became so irrelevant I don't even know why…
Yeah I agree, the whole twin plot is really poorly done. She is not a character herself, only a tool for the FL to have an "imperfection" on her otherwise perfect life. Or at least make it seem that way to other characters/viewers when it's relevant to the story...
