This is a very standard, cliche kdrama, done pretty well. Nothing offensive here (besides the cheating, but the girl is a bitch so I personally could look past it), nothing very bad, chemistry is on point and leads are very pretty. I just wish the mother would have divorced that sad excuse of a husband. I feel like in some version of the script she did, but they scrapped her relationship with her son's friend cause it would be too unorthodox for a kdrama.
I love it, even though Season 1 was superb. But I think the writers put themselves in a tough spot: they created…
I don't really think that S2 criticism has much to do with Suho though - most people loved the new characters, but the show was lacking in other aspects
me tooooo like it doesnt seem fitting considering the fact that sieun literally had no idea he would ever wake…
I too at first thought that the reunion was underwhalming, especially on Suho's side. But thinking about it, he would want to appear cool in front of Sieun. He knew that Sieun has worried for months about him, so he tries to make the reunion feel as normal as possible. But you can see from his microexpressions that he's relieved that Sieun "moved on" at least a bit. From Sieun's side, that run could be a bit more dramatic, but this is the first smile we see since C1, so I wouldn't call it emotionless either. But ofc a hug would be appreciated haha
Ngl, this season was entertaining - it had an amazing cast, the characters are well fleshed out and it's easy to root for them - but it only made me appreciate the genius behind Class 1 more. C1 also had a ton of characters and plots like C2, but for the most part, everything was connected, one thing led to another, and the story was very coherent in showing the main theme - the spiral of violence - especially for an 8-episode story with limited screentime. Meanwhile, C2 has nowhere near that level of suspense and the brutality - maybe except for the first episode. The fights are fine, but way less creative and carry less weight somehow. The villain is not scary enough for me - while the first villain in C1 was scary as shit cause he was an adult for once, and a crazy one at that, and the second villain (Beomseok) was even scarier cause of the way we saw him fall. Here, Donald Na is not scary at all and I can't take him as a real threat.
Also the characters' emotions take the back seat in C2, while in C1 they were always the driving force.
But there is nothing wrong with loving C2! It was a good, competent show. I feel like the creator lacked the time to think it through a few more times though and make it even more impactful.
If you believe the writers wrote Jun Tae a certain way to dunk on Beomseok’s character then I’m afraid you…
I'm commenting on ep1, cause I just started watching. Besides, I don't necessarily think it's to dunk on Beomseok, but rather to give Sieun a reason to trust Juntae? Cause he is hesitant to believe in him, as he has trauma with Beomseok, which was shown through flashbacks. This is my interpretation at least.
I'm loving how they managed to show a clear difference between Jun Tae and Beom Seok as early as ep 1. JT is clearly owning up to his mistakes, while BS may have had some conscience sometimes, but usually blamed others for everything.
I know that we are all excited, but it's really not a big effort to scroll down a few comments and find the answer to your question, that the show will air all at once -,-
or just stay off the site until you can watch it, don't let what people think influence your experience of the…
I agree with you, but knowing MDL there will always be at least one person who doesn't stick to marking spoilers 😠not to excuse such behaviour ofc. Also the photo section will be full of new stills for sure... Especially if Suho wakes up, the whole internet will go crazy, I'm scared to go to youtube too, as the algorithm will for sure be spoilery af.
