I have an issue with how the FL treats her mother. Like, she gave away her kid (to a childless relative, not some random people), but it happened 20 years ago, and the FL is still salty about it and complains about it every chance she gets, reopening everyone's wounds. They should have talked it out a long time ago, and perhaps FL's mother could have shared her perspective and gave some nuisance - maybe she wasn't equipped to handle a child with a disability and wanted better parents for her. It's painful for both of them to go back to the subject years and years later.
As for the bullying case, I just don't see how an accomplished and rich lawyer got scared by another mother threatening that her kid will be bullied as well. Not even mentioning that the FL had good friends at her school, so she wouldn't be alone, and the bully would get some sort of punishment, but I think that the mother met more dangerous criminals in her days as a lawyer and would not be so easily threatened lol. Also she deduced the perpetuous jaywalking on the base of one incident where the girl was looking at her phone?

Wasn't it meant to show that the can hear/speak enough? I thought that she could use the sign language, she just chose not to with her sister.

Hard agree. Especially after he told the other female associate to lean on him if she ever needs ADULT'S help. He clearly sees them as kids.
Also, the leads are on different stages of their lifes. The FL is working on her career development, whereas ML wants to be a father. I can't see it working out for them.

Former empress? She was not shown until the last minutes of the last episodes. She was not a character in Mr Queen at all. It was very very clear that the emperor loved the man inside.

Although a nice watch initially, it got boring for me as there are no stakes whatsoever. Our FL is beautiful, rich, from a good family, kind, top student and employee, which leaves barely any room to grow. Her clumsiness in ep 1 was a cute trait, not really explored further. Our ML is successful, handsome, rich, and so on, and so on. Only needs a kid to be happy and feel complete in his life.
They are managing pretty much only victims' cases, so no moral dilemma, winning everything they get their hands on. In the office they are facing utter dumbasses, so there is barely any office politics that would threaten them. The romance on the other hand is not getting developed, and even if it was, it feels weird to me how they would get involved - they are clearly on different stages of their life (her starting a career, him wanting a kid), I can't see it working out.
In the end, the drama got emotionless and boring... Fun initially but didn't really bring any interesting concepts to the table.

It was even worse with Mr Queen, where they made us believe that message for 19.5 eps and then made a 180 at the last minutes and said - never mind...

I liked that the leads are imprefect as hell, and have a lot of room for growth. It bothered me in HP, how ideally the professors were portrayed. And here of course I got annoyed a few times, but it's satisfying to see them learn and be a better person.

I hate when second leads who would better stay friends with the main lead, suddenly catch feelings. Like in Her Private Life - the FL and 2ML were so cute as friends. Or Castaway Diva, giving us unnecessary feud between two brothers in love with the same girl.

I would actually appreciate that if a kdrama needs to have two leads fighting over a girl, the fight would be more equal. Like we wouldn't know from the start who the FL would choose, like in Reply 1988. Or just abandon second leads falling for main girl altogether.

Good poiny about 2nd leads not having any growth. I actually hate that instead of giving them actual plot, writers often just give them an unrequited love to the main lead and call their job done.

Two possible explanations:
1. SYM can't die before all the iconic scenes are reenacted,
2. The lady screenwriter wrote it that way, cause everything is just a script within a script.

Yes, the pause is just too telling imo! Also playing with the namecard and watching AJTL. I was unsure about the portal too, but I think they put the in for us to be 200% sure that it's NH 😅 cause I feel that if we didn't get it, some fans would be speculating that it's NF just reciting a line from the script haha. They made sure we know it' a happy ending.

She is one of the best reviewers of cdramas, and explains well a lot of background stuff, so I don't see why not tag her. Tho I agree that our feelings about a show don't need validation from others, and seeking it can lead to unnecessary frustration.

Naah, the "original" formula has Fe, which stands for iron. It was gibberish, but had something in common with forging weapons (but made no sense due to no poor research from scriptwriter most likely). But the FL admitted that she doesn't recognize this formula and then wrote the cheezy love letter. She just wrote whatever came to her mind, and was aware of it too.
