So funny how this FL annoys ppl, and slimey liars losers damsels in distress in Would you Marry Me, Dynamite Kiss,…
I haven't seen any of those, but if you think that I'm annoyed by this female character just because she isn't weak or a "damsel in distress", you are very wrong. She is annoying because she is aggressive, and has so many red flags as a human being. I would like a tough female character who isn't a mental case. Have you heard why she didn't accept his apology? She needs to go to a psychiatrist ASAP.

P. S. I would also be put off by a male character who threatens people with a stabbing gesture using a pen. I think some people overlook her craziness and aggressiveness just because she is a "harmless girl" in their eyes or they think it's ok because "she didn't actually do it". That's just bad behavior regradless of her gender, "independent woman" personality and presumed "sense of justice".

I don’t like the SFL’s intentions at all… I’m sure there’s a reason behind her being pushy regarding…
I can foresee the cliche of "You made a deal with her to make me fall in love with you!". I guess that's what they are going for.
On Nice to Not Meet You Dec 5, 2025
The female lead needs a mental health provider, not a relationship. That's the weirdest explanation for why she refused his apology, especially since she was the one who was supposed to apologize, not him. He really had every reason to think she was working there, but she never apologized for stepping on his face to escape through the window or for contributing to the publication of that misleading article about him.

I thought it would get better for me, but it didn't.
It felt like all of them are acting (I mean you can see that they are acting), and I think that was a director's choice, because most of the actors are known to be good actors. The directors may have chosen to go for overacting characters because they thought it was more memorable. It was especially obvious during action scenes where they are going against each other with their cars, motorbikes and trucks. This didn't really suit my taste. I don't like when I'm aware that the actors are acting.

Also, there are plenty of plot holes from start to finish. The story is as unrealistic as a non-fantasy drama could get.

I liked the movie, so this was a huge disappointment for me. I barely finished it. I was watching on 1.5x speed and I still got bored.

Let's hope the downstairs husband will NOT fall in love with the second-floor neighbor's wife just like Your Neighbor's…
I didn't even think of that. I think the synopsis has changed since I wrote this comment. Now it sounds a bit fishy, like they are swingers or something. I have trust on Ha Jung Woo though. I don't think he would go for a sleazy script.

They should come up with creative titles for the drama.
I have been seeing articles about this drama for a while, and I never thought I should find out more about it because I thought it was the second season of The Devil Judge, and I haven't watched that yet. I didn't realize it's a different drama until I saw the stills.

If he hasn't sued her yet, why would she confess that it's AI?
I think she told the truth about it being AI thinking it's all going to go away and she will be forgiven, then when it didn't, she got scared that she could be sued and her confession would be used against her, so she backed away from it.
There was absolutely no need for her to say it's AI. It's not like he sued her and made a settlement in which she should withdraw the accusations. She herself said that she hasn't been sued yet.

She really needs a good lawyer (even though she deserves to be jailed for misusing AI), and I hope everyone boycotts The Return of Superman for firing him without a proof of misconduct. If it turned out to be true, then you can fire him and curse him while you are at it. What if all the cast had someone use AI to make an allegation about them? You would have no show.

The fountain pen didn't even come close to the ML. And I doubt she was even in position to sign such agreement.…
Really? Then that makes it okay. Here I thought it was a documentary.

some of you are funny 😄!! after watching 3 episodes and you think she’s evil!! Except you don’t like her…
There are some things that can tell you a lot about a person. You don't have to see their whole life to figure out that they "can be" violent.
I can't dictate a limit to what you consider okay, but you can't dictate what I think is not okay either. I would've cut off contact with that kind of person in a heartbeat, and I wouldn't even question my decision, because she just proved to me that she can get violent if she was slightly angered.

We can say it's just a K-Drama, but there is a limit where one thinks that character isn't a female lead material or a female lead that I want to end up with the male lead. I have reached mine. You didn't. Not sure what that says about how much you accept this kind of behavior in real life, because some people just turn their brains off when they watch dramas, and that's a valid way to watch a drama, just not mine. I have to like the female lead so that I can root for her, otherwise I'm here solely for the comedy which I currently am.

Also, I don't know if you are implying that this is something that is "not bad" to happen even in real life, but this is not the way to handle an offer that you don't agree with or can't sign without your company's permission. Either reject it or pass it to your company. You don't make a stabbing gesture with knife-like weapon on someone's face just because you don't like their offer.

What do you mean? Did she or did she not threaten him with it by making a stabbing gesture? Does she have to actually stab him with it so that it's not ok?
On Nice to Not Meet You Nov 11, 2025
Whenever you like a drama because the characters are crazy and it's funny, they always take it a step too far.

I thought the female lead was just annoying at first, but she turned out to be unreasonable aggressive a-hole who thinks or pretends that she has a sense of justice when she is plain criminal. Who uses a fountain pen to threaten someone when they have done nothing wrong? He apologized (without having to), and was setting up reasonable boundaries that would protect him from falsely accusing him (which shouldn't have been needed as she should've made sure that nothing she writes bends the truth about him). She didn't even apologize or explain that she didn't intend to publish that article (even though she had the ill intent when she relayed it to the publisher).

I find the fountain pen incident to be unforgivable making the female lead unlovable. I wished it was just her imagination, because how am I supposed to root for a person to end up with this monster? Even as a comedy it's a gross behavior.

The drama is great and it's really funny, but I hope that they won't end up together, because I feel bad for whoever she ends up with.

hope Kim Ji Hoonhe will have more screen time later. check the drama Dear X, kim jihoon play the role as coffee…
I didn't like the webtoon, but I might try to watch the drama. Maybe it's better.
On Nice to Not Meet You Nov 9, 2025
I like it. It reminds me of the old Korean rom-coms. They stopped doing them (ridiculous and fast-paced) like this. Also, I like all the parodies, like the jacket scene from The Classic. All the other skits are funny too, like his fear of being very old while still playing the detective, his desperation for a new role, his seemingly lame scandals that are blown out of proportion, and his relationship with his brother, the director, and his manager.

The female character was kind of annoying, but I'm hoping she will grow on me. I like the "fan-girl" character that she is heading towards.

Kim Ji Hoon has unexpectedly a small insignificant role in this, and his character is the most boring character on the planet. It makes me think that he just said yes when he saw that Lee Jung Jae would be the main lead.

I've never edited the original comment. I only edited my reply to you to add to my reply to make myself more clear (that my opinion doesn't match the average) before I read yours.
Don't be a sore argumenter. We have different opinions and it's ok.

I didn't edit my comment after I read yours. I posted it the first part in a hurry, then I added the second before I even read yours.
You think I'm a manipulative person, but I'm really not. I don't want to "win" this argument. I just want to make myself clear so that you don't misunderstand me.
I really didn't read your comment beforehand, sorry if that's how it came across, I don't even know which part you thought I added so that I could "win". Your comment still seems relevant to me. Have a nice day.

Any average rating between 1-10 is fair and not outrageous, because it's an average of what multiple users think about the drama at this point in time. Does that help you understand what I mean?
I can't help with how it came across. This is not my first language, and I have explained what I mean many times in many ways.

I was referring to people who accuse people who don't agree with their assessment of the drama as "JCW haters". I don't mind if people (pointed out) that they thought 7.9 is not fair.

I didn't say it doesn't deserve 8 (don't put words in my mouth). I was talking about MDL in general. Not this drama. Most dramas here are above 8. That is why you think 7.9 is low even though it's not. 7.9 is a very watchable movie in IMDb.
