It felt inappropriate to me (not that she meant anything by it, but I wouldn't be comfortable with that if I was him). This didn't start well for me. I kept trying to force myself to finish it in the first couple of episodes, so I sped them up, but it started to get more entertaining in the second half of the drama. The cases got more sophisticated (even though some of them were unrealistic, but I really liked their message). My favorite cases are the human Wi-Fi, then the preschool teacher. They are the most memorable. The first episode was too bleak for me. I also didn't like the one with cars because it was too unrealistic and unrelatable, and the gambling episode, because it's an overused topic/situation in dramas. The last cases reminded me of Taxi Driver which is a good thing because I liked that drama.

Because I thought it was clear that I meant "regardless of the truth". When you say something like "even if this thing is true...", it doesn't mean you believe it's true. It means "if the other person believes it's true, they should consider this...". The key is in the word "if". I was talking about the male lead, because many here believed it is about him and were angry that the writers wanted them to root for a character that has done bad things, and I'm saying it doesn't matter even if it's him. I only stopped replying because I keep repeating myself. It's not an important topic for me to keep talking about it. It's just a show for pure entertainment, not education.

This comment section has become very political, so I'll share my unbiased non-political thoughts on the whole debacle, purely from a logical standpoint.

Whether it's a mistranslation or not, and looking at the context of the drama, it shouldn't affect how you look at the main lead now. Why? Because if it's true, he was doing what he was ordered by the people painted here as evil. So, his superiors were making the calls. Should've he refused and rejected the orders? Maybe, but you saw that he was already doing some other shady/bad stuff for them, and was trying to repent and live a life his daughter would be proud of. That's why he threatened to kill his superior if he wasn't let go. Whether it's true or not, I don't think the writer has painted it as an achievement as some people have said. The woman was just listing the tasks he executed. For all you know, the "terrorist groups" he eliminated, in whatever other countries (I forgot), might not actually be terrorist groups. He was merely a vessel who was doing what was ordered without asking questions, and that's why he tried to get away from them later on. That was the whole point of his background story. I thought it was clear he wasn't really a good guy before his daughter was born.

One of my favorite crime thriller of his is Ghost. The villain there is incredible too.
But Cain and Abel is my all-time favorite. However, it's more of a melodrama, even though there was some elements of a crime thriller. (Note: I watched Cain and Abel long time ago, so it might not be as good in the criteria of today).

You can consider The Master's Sun horror if you are afraid of ghosts, but the main character there is Kong Hyo Jin's character.

Yeah, the actress Jeon Hye Jin is good. The character Kang Jae Gyeong is evil but quite entertaining. I don't think two episodes are enough to enjoy watching her fall and also wrap the body swap and the father/daughter relationship too, though. I hope they won't wrap it too quickly.

The fact that it was the twin brother surprised me. I thought it was the husband's idea, since he was the one who pushed him out of the hospital room and yelled at the soccer player for trying to lift the sheets.

I guess the translator was trying to censor what he said because it was inappropriate(?), because it's like they didn't want to translate it literally, so they went out of their way to tell you the jest of what he said. Maybe it clashed with their morals.
Mine was translated correctly, though.

I keep thinking that it's like asking Shakespeare to write the script for a school play whenever Choi Min Shik is on. I guess I'm not used to seeing him in dramas, but I'm getting used to it slowly. The skill gap between him and others is so noticeable in such setting. He is such a masterful actor.

No, but it's a part of being a coward. He actually stopped at first. I either remember or imagine his sister asking him to drive away. Either way, I'm not saying he is sinless, it's just that he is just a pathetic coward unlike his sister who is pure evil. You can tell by the scene where she tries to kill her father. Kang Jae Seong was reluctant to participate. He was shocked. She didn't bat an eye and even tried again. He deserves to go to prison for hit-and-run and reckless driving, but his sister deserves to rot in prison for two attempted murders and many other things. Their sins are worlds apart.

Yes, of course. Her father isn't an excuse for being evil. It just wasn't good parenting and it doesn't result in a good thing. You could say that she wasn't a good person but was charged (or triggered) by his father's messed up way of parenting. Whether she let her father's bad parenting affect her as an adult or not is her own choice. So it's not like she is an innocent victim.

I didn't say she didn't care that her stepmother was a maid. I said that even if she wasn't a maid, she would've been angry because he moved on too quickly. She would've found another way to insult her and object.
