It doesn't matter. "Why didn't you fulfil your promise?" was the right next move. Not planning a dangerous scheme to take him down without even asking. Even if he answered "I couldn't", it would've been a good enough reason to not save them. The only wrong answer would've been "I wanted you dead" which is unlikely since she is still alive.

Isn't taking revenge on someone because they were late on saving another a bit extreme? That shows a hateful unforgiving personality, which is not a good look on a main character who is presented as being wise and nice.

Her friend dying wasn't a good enough reason to take revenge, he didn't kill her, he just didn't save her and he wasn't obligated to do that just because she asked him to. Myung Ha on the other hand was directly responsible for her friend's death. If anyone deserves revenge it's him.
Edit: I just got your comment. She wasn't mad at him when her father left. She knew it was her father's wishes. Also, he did it for the king and not just him. He knew he was somewhat responsible for sending a spy and the prince had nothing to do with it. It was the right thing to do and is his choice. She heard their conversation.

I think he is very entitled and selfish. He thinks he owned the female lead the moment he saw her. I don't like his aggressiveness or the way he constantly threatens her. He is awful.

I don't seem to get the female lead's intentions, maybe because I keep zoning out in the middle of watching, but what I know is that she knows Kim Myung Ha was the one who framed her, but she joined hands with him? If not to betray him at the end, it's a weird move to make. The king didn't really do anything bad to her except that he failed to fulfil a promise to her which is understandable, meanwhile that awful second male lead was the one who deserves all of her anger but she is treating him like nothing has happened. If she is really planning revenge on the king then she is the foolish person ever. Not because it's dangerous and totally not worth it but also because he didn't do anything to deserve it.

and the way he asked gives away his backwardness. He made it seem like it is a legitimate request to make to a partner to ask them to change their looks for him. In what world are we, if you have a personal preference towards a trait you can go for someone who has it. Don't go to a person who doesn't have it and ask them to change for you. That's very selfish and shows a lot of entitlement. He is assuming she realizes that he's worth the struggle when she doesn't even know him!

I wish I knew that before watching it raw. I googled it before watching but I don't trust links on Reddit. And apparently they posted it on the same airing date too :(

P.S. The French guy was so rude. I could tell just by the way he knew only one woman picked him but looked elsewhere to check before going to the woman who picked him. Hey buddy, you are in no means a catch, you should be grateful someone actually picked you when no one else did and move on. She was too nice about it, it made me really sad, she seems like a great person and very pretty. She is a waste on him.

This is a very weird show. Most men in this are awful! And to top that they are over evaluating themselves which is very unattractive. I think every woman in this show could do better but unfortunately most of them are desperate and have very low self esteem. One guy literally said while looking at the pictures of women that "the men here are a waste on these women" as in (the women in these pictures don't deserve these men) which made me really question his straightness, he later on said he changed his mind after seeing them in person but I mean who says that!! Who even thinks that!! An average looking woman is way better looking than a handsome man. A male 10 is barely a female 7. That's why women typically ignore looks when they are choosing a man, not because they don't want it, it's because most of men don't have it so they've learned to just accept that. And let me just say, the amount of plastic surgery these men have is astonishing, even women are more natural looking than men. Who picks these people!

I like makeover programs but I find this somewhat uncomfortable. I can't get behind the idea of using invasive surgery to turn normal looking people to ones with catalogue picked plastic faces that look awfully weird to me. They had average to slightly above average faces originally which is typically more than fine for males. The people in the second episode especially were too decent looking for plastic surgery, one of them only needed skin and hair care, exercise, and eating healthy.

I would recommend to stop watching at episode 5, if you ever decided to watch it. The rest of the episodes are extremely dark and triggering.

Can't wait for Kim Nam Joo's return!

It's definitely not rare.

Enjoyable but super cliched. When someone asks me about it, I say think about the most cliched story in Korean dramas, and they all guess it correctly.

I don't think he was saying he did it for the drama. What I got from the article is that he was forced to do it because the director was about to fire him because of his weight. It's not for the drama, it's to make a living. He is quite unknown, so I get why he felt forced. Now he is sending a message about how awful it was for his health.

This is for those who think it's the actor's choice to starve themselves for a role. This should stop, this isn't what we want as viewers. No one cares about their weight as long as they can act.

I think it's very possible that they were just too young and immature before to be understanding of each other. There are a lot of couples who succeed in living happily with each other after a divorce. Sometimes they just need to grow and focus on what made them choose each other in the first place. I thought that was the point of the movie.

The article says that she was not going to attend anyway. She decided she wasn't coming before his death.
