So cute, welcome. I also discovered C drama world few months ago, I haven't watched Hollywood since hehe. It's so much fun.
For now it seems to me I watched the best ones, I just stumbled upon them. Now, I'm searching for something new to watch, but when you kick of C drama world with The Double and LBFAD it is so hard to find something better then that. So, now I'm looking for people who's comments seem interesting and I check what did they review as 10 on their watchlist ;)
I can’t stand that princess, but damn!! she’s such a girl boss
The way she treats Shen Yurong haha love it. He deserves it. But also, he is so pitiful, and cute, and evil, and confused. And the triangle with Jiang Li, And the scene at the palace. Where all of them meet, and Duke Su joins. That was so intense. All this characters in one scene, perfect scene to put them together, that one scene unveils all of their emotions, characters and plans, sooo good. Director sure can make you follow the drama more then your real life haha.
Just started watching, and the only thing that bothers me is how visually the FL looks more mature/older than…
to me they look about the same. Tong'er and Xue Fang Fei look the same age. It's only the FL has very strong and mature character to play. She looks younger in variety shows where she promotes the drama, because she's allowed to be more playful. Maybe that? Give it 5 episodes. You will be swayed by majestic ML, and chemistry ML and FL.

@frankly this is a very good reply and explanation. From my point of view I find it the most romantic ML and FL of all the drama. Duke Su knows how to look at woman, and make her feel wanted, protected. For me they had more romance then some show with spoon feeding, bedtime cuddles and all those repetitive scenes that are found in every drama.

Why is this guy so good? First I watched him in LBFAD, now I'm watching all his drama, even the modern ones which I usually never watch. He is so manly even in the scenes where he cries, more then some actors in the combat scenes.

And Love Like the Galaxy. ML is not someone you want as your enemy. Although he is carring towards FL. Also, to me everyone recommended Story of Kunning Palace. Everyone says ML is intriguing bad gay there. But I didn't watch it yet.

Him in Goodybe My Princess is one of the best ML in all cdrama, and definitely the best red flag. You can completely understand why women fall for guys like that. I felt guilty for liking him. Such a good performance.

I never liked a villain in any show but this. He is so good. The downfall from an upright man with dignity, pride, good family life, amazing talented wife. All achieved by himself, in his white robe. And the character change after losing all that.
what does it mean drama with romance? Can you give few examples of what is a good romance?
I'm just curious to find what is a good romance. Because for me ML and FL in the Double have amazing chemistry, conversations that are flirty but not bickering, much more believable then other dramas where one is sick the other is spoon feeding the sick one (overused scene), bickering even when there's no basis for it, and so.. But they do have too little screen time together as ML and FL. and to be honest that is the reason why this drama is so good. Revenge plot is ok. But two of them are fire.
