Yes, true but they are gearing up for the wedding now with ML having proposed last episode and them in the process…
Oh well there is SML who has a crush on her for a long time and yeah it's annoying bc he doesn't take any of her no for an answer, nor listens to her ever, for far too long and the writer keeps dragging this one sided delusion of his for way longer than I'd have liked. FL doesn't have any romantic feelings for him ever but he's a vip client of her gym so she has to stay polite to him and all. She's staying distant but friendly in a professional way while such distance between her and Taeho never exist to begin with. I'd advice you to ffw generously in the first half of the show, as it is quite a slow start and slow burn romance, with the drama kicking off only fully halfway thru. The best part for me during those first 25 eps was the relationship progression of the leads and their scenes together, hence I focused on that, which helps until everything else is coming into full swing as well.

Also the leads start off bickering too but you gradually see their relationship changing and ML apologizes for being a brat not much later, so there is that 😁 He is the one who falls first AND harder (while FL is definitely attracted to him early on too, but she never has the time to examine her feelings for him until realization later on) and you can exactly pinpoint that moment believe me, haha. It helps that Uee and Hajun have such an easy/natural and fun chemistry together from the get go, with bickering first and banter later, and their characters are (written) very emotional intelligent/aware, ML in particular, especially in regard to their further relationship, which is the cutest and very healthy.

I don't see any crap here tbh, just a structured resolution of all the plot lines with characters getting their…
There is four full episodes left and the issue of deadbeat dad was still up in the air the whole time, thus it was obvious it would happen and needs resolution before any of what you described can happen. I think next episode we will see just that and the rest is characters living their own lives (pun intended) with a nice sendoff and long epilogue to all of it. Like that issue with KS trash son, it's gonna be getting solved quite quickly then in an eps I believe, but douchebag dad is part of the other half of the main story and thus closure regarding this is required for HS'fam. It's really that easy and it makes sense, also to keep people watching. That's why the preview focused on that, the last unresolved story bone thrown out there for them to catch before the wedding and everything else.

To have four hours of epilogue is nonsense either way. One full hour in 51 aka it's last episode is really enough to wrap it all up well. See how Once Again did that in a very satisfying manner. I hope to see the same in LOYL tbh. Aka Wedding = eps 50, (timejump) epilogue with checking in what they have been up to, and spending time with the characters = eps 51 😊

Hehe yeah, indeed. Ever since they got together in eps 25 while they had their difficulties and hiccups growing closer together, there is no breakup. It's so nice and rare to see in kdrama, particularly how their struggles serve to bring them closer instead of the other way around.

There is however a small breakup of one episode before eps 25 tbf, but this was before FL was ready to fully commit to him and struggled with several other issues. I really don't count that as it was before they committed to each other and FL realized her feelings. Ever since they have gone strong and stronger still lately, leading up to marriage that feels like natural progression of their gained closeness within in all πŸ‘Œ

Right! That was too funny. I was like, did some imaginary time pass or something? hahaha
The timeline is whack but they mentioned it is march now so when they went down to business at the start of December, she could show a little now but I think her wearing dresses like that makes her look bigger than she is either way. Really the opposite problem from what we had in TRHC 🀣

Well the writers kept the crap coming. This is one of the better weekend dramas Ive watched by the way. Shocking…
I don't see any crap here tbh, just a structured resolution of all the plot lines with characters getting their well deserved sendoff, in positive or negative ways while the leads gear up for the wedding. All as it is supposed to be, even that last crisis within to keep people's interest as the show winds down toward its happy ending

The voice a reason! I really need to disregard the previews!!!
Haha thanks. It's obviously the last big storyline left before the happy ending this is why they hype it up. And I think if they go the donation route that it would be Hyosung doing so but only to tell deadbeat to fuck off forever now as he has no right to be in their lives, ever. Would make the most sense since HSung is next to gremlin the most affected by his abandonment, aka remembers it more vividly than his other siblings due to age. Also hope gremlin does use her temper for good and beats his ass.

Most long-term Tae Min fans were hoping for a reconciliation, but I've resigned myself to the fact that the writer…
I think a second chance romance is difficult bc there was so much meddling/baggage of the demon aunt in there (hard to forget for TM) and her ties to TV live as her daddy wants a piece of the taesan pie still. Would still like to see it, if just in the (time jump) epilogue or so, since he never gave her a fair chance after all.

Does any knows how Im Ju Eun as character (Choi Soo Kyung [News Anchor]) in the drama related to any leads?
She is not, no. Completely unrelated with and to the two main families

Greetings! As far as I know, there is no break up for the main couple after they get together, but the show is…
Yes, true but they are gearing up for the wedding now with ML having proposed last episode and them in the process of moving together. I think you can rest assured that they are not breaking up anymore πŸ˜‚

What is the ML going to gain by trying to seduce the FL? I don't understand, I hope to understand tomorrow
Having a girlfriend πŸ˜‚ But joke aside he is probably trying bc then she is unable to marry his brother and bc he is already very whipped so that plan to steal her away makes the most sense to him, I guess πŸ˜‚

He plans to seduce her while he's all head over heels for her. Man's falling deeper in love 😏
He is the personified 'he fell first AND harder' and I love that sm πŸ˜‚

Lol, wedding scenes are expensive, so they gotta finance that somehow xD
It's 100 episodes a 30 minutes tho, so it has the same weekender length like LOYL just different format 😊 And yes once again is the gold standard for weekenders tbh. Characters, plot, couple development etc is stellar. It's pretty laidback too without a high stake plot like here and very character driven. Of course you have some more annoying chars in there too but no gremlin or anything. Everyone gets their due character development too so keep that in mind πŸ˜‰
On Live Your Own Life Mar 4, 2024
don't get the doomsayer here. The douchebag dad is obviously a problem they still need to deal with before happy ending/marriage, but I highly doubt it will have a kumbaya solution here. His whole purpose is for the family to have closure regarding him and turn their backs on his cheating selfish ass, honestly. Like with the trash son of KS and the murder mystery main plot this drama has already shown it isn't taken the most beaten path of weekenders, so breathe ppl lol. Preview is obviously over dramatic and distorting events to make you tune in. Nothing new here.

Title Flex X Cop
It's difficult as is, To find a good mystery/thriller without in your face romance.Let these people cry elsewhere.
Oh i know the premise is v goofy and the first few eps start off as such, but as said the tone gets more serious later on and even dark-ish in places with a serial killer at loose. The show is doing a good job with its red herrings as long you remain unspoiled by the interwebs, the reveal of the true culprit is well done/unexpected. Maybe give it another try?

But yeah like you i would like to see/know where to find these "in your face romance" mystery/thrillers are, bc outside of FOE there isn't much tbh.

Behind your Touch maybe? It starts quite goofy but goes into mystery/thriller pretty heavily as it goes on. Romance is very slight tho but Lee Minki is never not adorable/hilarious haha

Was that why the music teacher (from the photo that Hyosung has) came to find Hyoshim family. I did not understand…
She was Hsung's teacher back then and it seems working together with that douchebag dad. They most likely has an affair and then he ran away to start a new life with her or something. The audacity of that woman to search for his "family" after all this bc she wants to save his sorry ass. TRAAAAAAAASH, both of them. Hope they are chased away. Disgusting

I had dropped this drama after 20 episodes. Seeing no progress in FL's character, I understood this drama is not…
Imo it's worth watching, alone for the leads and main plot of the accident including TM's character development, however late. She sure does move out and Taeho helps her here too, dw. A tip I can give you is to skip the characters you don't like much for now as most of the subplots are without consequences (hyodo, Taehee for example) and focus on the leads, at least until everything else picks up too. Hyoshim's mother remains annoying tho for a long time so that's a character where a twitchy ffw finger helps your enjoyment of this show. Just as a heads up 😁 And TH will have a reunion with his grandma too, since the writer doesn't forget to address any plot points (and weekender tropes minus amnesia) , but that's all I'm saying for now πŸ˜‰β˜ΊοΈ

Sorry couldn't recall your user name when I wrote that but yeah no offense meant here haha. It's okay if you don't enjoy it as much as I do, bc it all comes down to taste and also being more experienced with weekenders and thus better able to sort in where it stands/goes, why things happen, tropes etc. helps a lot too. This is my sixth weekender I finish so I'm more laidback by now towards things in these shows that newer viewers would grate I guess. Because by now i know what to expect and how much patience is needed due to much slower but longer story and character arcs.

However, the show was never about Hyoshim moving out and then cutting all contact to her family. It was about finding a way and life she is choosing for herself and her family is part of that. And setbacks, struggles etc were part of the process here of her in finding and upholding healthy boundaries in the end. So to say HS only changes for a moment is quite wrong and missing the point of it all, sorry. Plus her family we see now near the end, is a fully different one than idk, episode 20 (where the person stopped watching) tho with everyone having found their place and no longer pitted against each other but enjoying time together. Though it is true that gremlin always has been that one grating character you meet in every weekender lol, but now even she has come around, seeing the errors of her ways. So there's that πŸ˜…πŸ˜

Here's to a good final four episodes tho πŸ₯‚

Well yeah it was, I was mostly joking tbh πŸ˜‚ But also that's why wedding scenes are often skipped over in kdrama since they are so much work and money to film. So yeah we'll see. Would love if they take the extra episode for an extensive epilogue post timejump and then check in with every character what they have been up to since then like Once Again has done. Which up to date is still the best most satisfying handling of an epilogue I have seen in a weekender. Next week we're gonna wrap up douchebag dad's story (he can f... off) and idk what's left still but other minor things too. The wedding, since it was planned from the start will be eps 50 I think, then and then idk what they'll do for 51, but staff got the last script today so there's script for 51,not just a highlight reel or something 🀣 We'll see.
