cry harder the drama ranked 1st in its timeslot as wellits happening either way lmfao
Fifteen burners at the very least. Must look like he has any ppl agreeing to this bigoted verbal diarrhea to distract from his void of possessing any coherent thoughts after all. Because as we know empty barrels rattle the loudest. Lmao, just... imagine necromancing attack helicopter jokes from their 2016 graves, and then seriously being delusional enough to think you are smart, funny and original here with it. When actually every line and word tortured into existence by him feels like an offense against the convention of Geneva as we all had to suffer through its utter rambly and unfunny incongruousness.

Kinda the equivalence in content value to the weeks-old hairball the demented backyard cat is dry-heaving unprompted on your shoes, tbh. πŸ™ƒ

Don't engage with this landfill dumpster post of hatred. Just report it.

BlackRock, State Street & Vanguard control around 90% of companies in the S&P 500. If they want to normalize people…
It's so adorable how you think you dodunk are actually funny just because you put enough πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ behind the incoherent garbage you spew here. That emoji overuse looks as idiotic as the verbal diarrhea wave you are riding on with every (unfortunately) continuous post made. Further and repeatedly hammering the square peg in a round hole like a toddler just discovering the existence of shapes.

In a battle of wit you'd be the equivalent of an amoebae armed with a toothpick fraction against a giant, or the flattened roadhog on a highway after meeting a truck at full speed. You're someone who rotates the square in Tetris and is the personification of the crying, annoying baby on a plane. And to top it off you're ALSO delusional enough to think defecating yourself publicly here on MDL adds any value or meaning to your sad, bigoted existence. When in truth you just look pathetic and unhinged with your yesteryear tinfoil hat conspiracy word vomit and your cringe-y attack helicopter jokes necromanced and ripped straight from their 2016 graves, sprinkled with some oh-so-badass internet buzzwords clawed from the hands of 2021's twelve-year olds. How embarrassing. As are the fifteen+ burner accounts with which you like your own posts, at that. Or as i fittingly expressed in an abbreviated version of this post here, before:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hfYJsQAhl0

And please stop honking so incessantly when you drive by in your clown car here, cackling like a deranged jester about your own daft words. Because people are actually trying to watch this show in peace, and all that useless noise coming from your direction and mouth is *distracting* and superfluous, really.

Title My Demon
I looked at your watchlist... for k-drama, I would recc Come and Hug Me, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, Crazy Love,…
Try Mr. Queen instead if you want a period drama as it has also a modern touch and doesn't take itself too seriously. From Now On Showtime has ghosts instead of demons but is very underappreciated compared to the hype train here and is actually funny.

Well, I for one am happy that the writer doesn't forget about giving closure for every of her plot lines bc we…
Oh for sure there are two main plots on each of the main fam's side as it is custom in fam dramas, but i still hope it will be wrapped up next weekend as it starts to needlessly drag. I would like the remaining episodes just as a means to spend some time with the characters as things calm down around them. I actually prefer closing off with calm/quieter character focus eps, since it is a good way to say goodbye to all of them especially when they are given a satisfying bow around their arcs and stories.

And thankfully this writer is unlike the hack in TRHC not making herself a clown and prisoner to the ratings and not addicted to hitting the next shocking twist in the attempt to elevate them, but she has her story and arcs to tell w/o artificially trying to inflate them to what they aren't (as a writer confident in their story and craft is supposed to be/do) We are just along for her ride provided :D But we will see what happens with Park and Co, however three weeks aren't that long so i think you underestimate a bit how much time a good closing everything off well arc actually needs. Six episodes feel just the right amount for it imo.

I do not think that TS Fitness fits within the story line now, especially as Hyo-Shim no longer is employed there.…
Lmao that one scene was indeed a series of PPL's🀣 And it will be probably used for a scene where HS packs her things before moving together with her then husband hehe. Which i am okay with as her apartment was always meant to be an interim thingie anyway. I wonder if she ends up moving into TH's family home tho. It is spacious enough after all, especially with everyone but his bro will be inhabiting prison instead 😈 (The rat THee hopefully scurries off somewhere far faaaar away tho)

Indeed. His absence looms a lot larger than his presence ever did. Hmm, this is the one time where i hope the guy to be a cheating scoundrel as it would tie off everything much better and give gremlin no reason to hang on any further onto his shadow. And also because people with dementia don't have a life expectancy of 25 yrs plus left after the diagnosis but i dunno if the writer knows that.

Yeah the gym had outlived its purpose as soon she did quit her job there, so we won't see it again. It's why we see gym member grandpa lingering around in the cafe now too haha.

Since this fam drama goes to places others did not (murder/contract killing like in a thriller haha) i would not be surprised if dadbeat left because he had another woman and lives with her now, having forgotten about his children. Feels like this is why HSung is so secretive about the photo. He wants to protect his siblings/mother from the hurt

To answer your question: The most recent and still currently airing Live Your Own Way is a very good family drama.…
I would not say THE most healthy of all of kdrama ever, as that would be a hyperbole, but certainly one of the most supportive and healthy couples I have personally seen in kdrama (I'm talking about their relationship when they are together and committed tho as there are some hiccups before they find their groove, so to speak but that's the more realistic beauty of it for me too tbh) Both leads, and ML in particular, are very emotional intelligent and empathic people and it shows in their interactions. They put in the effort to make their relationship work, communicate clearly and apologize for mistakes made or not calling.

Everything between them happens on equal footing and eye level, and this despite ML being 'the rich guy.' But it avoids the trappings of a cliché Cinderella story because of the leads', and again, ML's in particular, emotional awareness and respect for each other. Where other couples in family dramas break up at the slightest inconvenience, they talk things out, find solutions together or solace in each other, and grow closer instead of calling it quits in a fit of hurled accusations. They have their disagreements of course, but they are tackling them with kindness and empathy for the other instead to yell and shout senselessly. This is where LOYL really stands out from other weekenders and kdrama in general for me. And it helps that Uee and Hajun have such effortless, adorable and often fun/cheeky chemistry together too, of course 😊 (my current avatar is also them, btw)

Oh for sure once again is the gold standard and I'm not comparing LOYL to that. Tbh I was talking about RECENT ones πŸ˜‰ (since OA is from 2020, so four yrs ago now already) So LOYL is really a good new weekender and imo unfairly thrown into the bad pile or overlooked bc it was the successor of the trash fire TRHC. The biggest flaw it has is a too slow midsection after the introductory 10 eps, but it picks up a lot again halfway through and had been great since. The writing of its plot and characters is very very solid and coherent, even the annoying ones. It's certainly not an Once Again, but no weekender will get close to that writing quality again imo. For me PERSONALLY it is with some caveats on the same level of enjoyment as Once Again for me, due to the leads, but LOYL has more small annoyances and weaker subplots overall.

And I know what you mean I barely keep up with the current airing kdrama atm due to other life stuff, so no pressure here ☺️

For me, I love "Live Your Own Life". It started off a bit slow, and sure it has a lot of annoying characters (but…
High five πŸ™ŒπŸ«Ά LOYL deserves so much better than to be thrown on the bad family drama pile with the likes of TRHC tbh. Bc I have rarely seen such a supportive healthy and mature relationship between leads in ANY kdrama without any bullshit or drama/break up between them tbh. But I guess it always had a difficult standing with people with being the family drama that came right after that trainwreck, unfortunately. For me it restored my faith in airing, newer fam dramas after TRHC destroyed that. Still I know better than to touch the upcoming one, gonna be too messy for me.

Sorry forgot to reply. It was regarding your last point that we didn't have any good family dramas in a while... when actually LOYL exists. 😁

Oh Ji Hyun Woo! Have only seen him in the super romantic drama "Queen In Hyun's Man" (I warmly recommend it btw,…
To answer your question: The most recent and still currently airing Live Your Own Way is a very good family drama. It just has a slow midsection, is all but it really picks up a lot from episode 25 going forward. And the leads are the cutest with the most healthy and supportive relationship I have not only ever seen in family dramas but kdrama in general (no breakup once they are committed to each other and excellent communication with each other about their thoughts feelings fears etc). But for some reason it is unfortunately so skipped over and overlooked by people here on MDL 😒 I guess that's the TRHC curse with being the show that came after that trainwreck.

Also this show here is written by the YLAG writer, which may be a positive or negative for you but it will be very messy fam drama for sure. Just as a heads up

Well, I for one am happy that the writer doesn't forget about giving closure for every of her plot lines bc we have seen what it means to drop more than half of them midway through in the trainwreck of TRHC before, brrr πŸ’€ So late as it may be here, it shows a care for her characters and story to not forget about this. Especially with the main plot being wrapped up next weekend you need some very low stake story replacement/continuation after it's climax. And this subplot serves that well 😊 I guess we also get to know that dadbeat has another family or something then. Anything but a last minute kumbaya return bc of HS wedding. Nope. Also the classic win over the disapproving parent plot 😁 Watch gremlin become the biggest TH stan bc this is always how these plot lines go in fam dramas hahaha

why did the ML cheat on the FL?
I watch family dramas (you know the 50 eps longform dramas) so i am used some level of makjang by now but there is nothing more that i hate when the leads are constantly on the backfoot while the villains have free rein about everything, Needs to be push and pull as balance at the very least. And this drama here sounds way too stressful from your description alone tbh. But thanks for sparing me several hours haha.

Didn't he say something about his eyes? Like, "my eyes aren't that small" or some reference to their size.It caught…
Yeah he mentioned his eyes too, aka being too small but only from a certain angle. The dialogue bits i typed there came right after. Still feels like a fourth wall breaking callout of rude netizens complaining about Hajun(s looks) from the writer tho 😁

Yeah KBS publishes many of their dramas on their youtube channel too. They are just always a few weeks behind what is the most recent episode since Viki/Kocowa paid good money for the license after all heh. You can also find it on Viki (legal) or on kdramahood here (not so legal lol):

On Live Your Own Life Feb 27, 2024
I also cackled about the way Taeho was complaining about gremlin's rejection of him bc it feels like a complete callout of the viewers. "Am I ugly, or unromantic? It's because they don't observe me carefully. When they look at me closer, you see that i have quite nice features. I'd say i am quite a good catch!" (yes you are hajun) and hajun's lively delivery with his gestures really sold it.

Meaning, the writer is very self-aware. Most likely saw some netizen forum comments about Hajun "not being handsome, too ugly or not good enough to be the male lead and romantic interest of the show", and decided to lampshade that in his dialogue here 🀣 I knew that some clowns did that on the international side and i side-eye their complete lack of taste and eyesight so so hard for this. Not to mention it's rude af toward the actor. So may they step on a field of lego for it. Barefoot.
