All of this, thank you 🙏👏👏👏🙌 TM has been unreasonably petty/hostile towards him ever since he saw TH training together with HS in episode 5 or so (like remember his meltdown in his car? First time he irked me, with uncalled for possessiveness) And he hasn't stopped since, always saw him as a threat to either his (perceived) love life or in terms of TH trying to find out about the circumstances of his parent's death and grandmother's whereabouts. The attempt to reconnect with TM was always from TH's side, never from the dude's and he's been incredibly standoffish toward him in general.

I did yeah and it is kinda a staple trope of soaps so yeah. Doesn't happen in every weekender but birth secrets are pretty common nonetheless. So nothing surprising here. I have been suspected that since the beginning basically so it is very different from the bs TRHC pulled with it all coming out of the left field and pulled from the writer's ass (for shock value/due to incapability) Hints regarding this have been established throughout the show so it would be the least surprising thing to happen tbh 😁

It is certainly a memorable proposal, that is for sure🤭That scene of their tearful reunion was so sweet and wholesome. Both lead actors are so so good in using the spectrum of emotions and in making their love for each other believable. My fave part by now is how much of a goner Hyoshim is for Taeho, ngl. Because since she is not as overt with her physical affections for him like TH is for her, i've seen ppl wrongly assuming that she just tolerating him, not really liking him or some other nonsense. Nope she is just as much in love as he is and i am happy the writers make it clear to the viewers how it is always an equal give and take between them. They are by now my fave lead couple in a weekender ngl. Both actors are so comfortable with each other and it really shooooows onscreen <3

HS is also the first using the L-word when talking to her mother about marrying him (I love him very much) Really love how they continue adding to their relationship and we are side-stepping the usual over-dramatic, overwrought break up bs. Writer nim got it early and already out of her system with their 24 hours speed dating (before they were truly committed like now) and break up for about a week or so, thankfully 🤣

Not completely been waiting for subs on kdramahood, and have skipped thru the raw, since this is one of the more plot heavy eps were my korean fails me in larger parts. So i mainly focused on the leads' scenes 😁 That detention center scene was cute as heck <3

yeah you could be right. Was going off of something i read on twitter regarding the episode number, but would make more sense if they are a little further ahead with filming, of course.

This show has the flaw of a too long, dragging build up but ever since the second half it is all very well paced and the plot beats fit in place too and i think this is with a reason why we see climbing rating though the times of weekenders reaching 30% or more are over nowadays due to streaming etc Either way we are in the last stretch of this weekender which means resolving everything and maybe introducing a new mini arc after that (deadbeat dad returns?) that also can be quickly brought to an end too. No birth mothers with complicated backstories or surprising birth secrets in eps 40 like in TRHC suddenly appearing tho, lmao. So next eps gotta be uncovering truths and punishing misdeeds, then marriage for the leads and clean up on aisle two for all the other chars. It seems MR comes back pregnant next week since there are no one night stands w/o consequences in weekenders lol. Other than that, the side chars romances are just not romancing tbh (and MR better off as a single mom, lbr) Lets see what it still got in store for the remaining 13-14 eps (extension) tho :D

sorry i am always needlessly verbose when summarizing lol. But still watch it, its worth it how HS calls out TM for being an egoistic ass and she standing up for herself and her man.

Which makes me mad about people STILL saying she does not love Taeho bc you know she is shy with physical affections while TH is a cuddly golden retriever with her. We certainly do not watch the same show bc all of her actions and words show alone how much she loves him and only him. She is using his name in every sentence while speaking to TM. In fact, her whole reason to speak to this dude is only TH and to appeal to his cousin to help him (and then growing more and more mad and disillusioned with his callous response) She does not give a flying fuck about him otherwise which is 😂
