Title Call It Love
Looking forward to starting this. I am curious, how angsty and swoony is the romance? (Edit to clarify: I would…
it depends on how much you like melo slow burn stories with an equally slow burn romance of two (depressed) introverts dealing with the rather ironic and difficult hand dealt to them. The story is very down to earth and human tho with flawed, multifaceted characters that try and fail, and succeed sometimes. Try for yourself, but a romcom it is not and the drama makes that clear from the get go with its consistent quiet, somber tone and themes. So go into that show with the according mindset should you watch.

Because the ghost letter said he would not have a wife and would always be alone...so for everyone to believe…
yeah that makes sense.

Title Our Blooming Youth Spoiler
the last episode has still to air today, so check back here later. Edit, for end spoilers in the tag:
Yes. Happy ending for the leads, and FL getting to be queen. But marriage gonna take place off screen as his proposal, their kiss is literally the ending scene, lol.

np. He asked her to marry him too, tho we have to imagine their lavish royal wedding in our heads, lmao. But at least a kiss onscreen and well-earned... appropriately joseon era chaste/tame, alas xD

i am glued to twitter atm to find out. But from what little i gathered SO is okay and pairs up with princess in the end, i believe? So happy end for the sarg. Hwan has become king, but they keep blueballing us with the "Q" question and playing the lovers separated trope at first while he sorts out his court. Argh i swear if all i get is looking at this effing tree in the end... oh nvm, he confessed and they kissed according to the blue social bird :D but it is literally the ending scene, lol.

Welp. At least the long arc of Hwan being jealous of himself is now over? Trying to look at the bright side here…
give it a try, totally worth it :)

Title Our Blooming Youth Spoiler
Did the CP really say "How could you tell me this only now?" πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚
lol poor guy, he was certainly regretting missing all the giant hints she was throwing him before and the long time spent being jealous of himself πŸ˜‚

On a more serious note: I am not surprised that it took a life and death situation for JY to confess. Being so selfless and protective of him, she would have never done it otherwise to not become his weakness and endanger him. The situation she chose to in spite now was entirely heartbreaking tho, especially since Hwan never considered for ONCE that he is the one she loves😒

honestly, this rule has lost all validity after a certain courtesan and former married (!) woman became queen... which is the wildest thing to begin with. So Hwan should take that rule and chuck it out in his best trailblazer manner (if really needed she can always be to adopted by sergeants fam to solidify their power and be of greater help to the royal fam after all)

Aaaand i truly doubt after all they have been through together and fought for, that the leads gonna be like "bye have a great time" to each other when it all is over xD Hwan already expressed that without her at his side everything will lose its meaning. So yeah, i still think we either get a royal couple ending or Hwan effing off the throne to live with jY in that house. They are a total two for one deal however and ride or die for each other so there is no in between these two options imo.

I have a bad feeling. I think it’s going to be a sad ending. 😭what do you think?
Imo it looks similar to Mr. Queen where the leads gathered forces outside the palace to return with a bang, cleaning out all the corrupt people in a fell swoop. And with a lost believed royal family member returning to their rightful place. But we will see how it goes in a bit heh.

Why was the bride to be Crown Princess killed? How is her death part of the plan? I also thought they would have…
Well that girl needed to be out of the picture for FL in the end. Poor redshirt xD Also marrying her would have solidified Hwan's power on the throne and weakened those of the most influential, corrupt family. So lotta reasons why she was the unfortunate sacrificial lamb in this story lol

guys can i ask there is kissing scene?
Ask again after the last episode has aired and keep your fingers crossed we get it today as reward for the absolute wringer the leads were put through, lol. (Bc this isn't your standard sageuk romance disregarding the social norms during the joseon era to add random skinship between a man/woman, especially if of noble/royal status. Plus both of their backgrounds does make it additionally difficult on top of that. )

Oh, that is good to know. I saw it in his bio, read the synopsis, went meh and closed the tab tbh xD May give it a try someday, now. Gotta have to be in the mood for such a drama tho, since it is not my go-to genre.

I was too lol. They organize fairs for companies and clients to present their new products to the public and create buzz for the release etc. In that point in the drama they are trying to organize (aka find sponsors etc) a camping fair.

God! I don't remember the last time I was so hooked on a show. I binge watched S01 & S02 in 2 days. Can't wait…
tbh, i have been converted from the "doki/go eun have just a siblings vibe" to the "I SHIP IT SO HARD" camp now. (I blame rewatching their scenes and having an "aha!" moment for that, haha. Hence my avatar too xD)
