Tbh, i rather have Hwan have a crisis of trust now then much later down the line and i feel his doubts were bound to happen with how he was told countless times to trust no one. As it turned out this crisis made it clearer to him that she is the one he not only should but actually *wants* to trust and that he feels way less lonely with her around. Another step done to recognize how whipped he already is for her haha.
While the episode was definitely more filler in terms of the main plot, it helped to move characters and dynamics forward and give a little more insight into them. Myung Yin is still my hilarious fave, lmao @ him calling Hwan older brother saying he looks younger and ranting about the CP while he stands right next to him in disguise. Hwan definitely did not miss Jae Yi, nope not at all. And denial is a river in egypt π The show is at its best when the four characters are together tbh, so i hope for more of their shenanigans soon. I agree that today's episode could have been more condensed but it wasn't as bad as ppl made it out to be.
I feel the only relevant thing in eps 14 was how CCY and even the incompetent police guy found out about Ji. I liked that and the confrontation between the CCY and Ji prior to that. Otherwise this episode was a big nothingburger, which showed at the way how no one cared about HY's birth-mother as tho the writers needed to put a checkmark on the list of things they had to still include before this drama is over, lmao . And even Ji's sob sob poor meee backstory compressed in like five minutes to explain why he acts how he acts was... underwhelming. I will give this drama -100 points if they include a last minute redemption or forgiveness "arc" tbh, bc nothing justified what he had done.
But yeah, at this point i am glad when the drama is done and over with (started to watch it on double speed, even) Because it drags waaaaaay too much in the last quarter. Definitely enjoyed it a loooot more in the beginning, now... not so much. Due to that is has become a drama of the 7-7.5 rating category "watch one time then forget it exists" instead of the fave I expected it to be, for me.
Before it was her at the office preparing for her two weeks vacation, telling her secretary not to contact her…
probably on piratey sites like dramacool etc, they rarely, if ever, update their eps once they are posted. But now i am curious about how the ending changed, bc i definitely watched the first version.
I loved the first couple of eps then I had to stop watching for some reasons, is it still a really solid adult…
Imo the romance and development and the name family dynamics are the best parts of the drama and why I stick to it even tho this badly executed murder mystery plot overshadows it since the second half of the show started.
in the cast it has him listed as "Jin Yi Sang [Instructor of The Pride Academy]"!
idk i have no other explanation for why he does what he does. The drama waited too long to give any kind of backstory or motive of him tbh. It is all very oddly paced tbh.

I think he wants to keep CCY in perpertual misery and solitude unable to move on from his dead sister with a mixture of twisted "only i care for you," This is why he reacts so strongly toward HS because she makes him happy and forget about the past. Can't have that.
I stopped watching a few weeks ago because my k-drama viewing hours are very limited right now. I don't mind mysteries…
Yeeeeah, i understand that too well. I love the leads' romance and its development and the nam family, but everything else is quite meh by now. Since it is just three episodes left i will stick to it, but were it more than that i would put it on the backburner and speedrun thru it at a later point.
Crazy Love with a similar kind of story did the execution of all subplots far better, tho.
Can someone tell me why the detectives didn't ask the older brother where the man delivered the heavy box of balls?…
kdrama police is chronically incompetent in everything so i am actually not surprised they didn't cover the most obvious tracks... like investigating WHO TF ORDERED A SHITTON OF METAL BALLS TO THEIR ACTUAL HOME ADDRESS LATELY.
sounds like itΒ΄s time to drop this one. thank you for the wake up call :D
I feel it is due to the story making it too obvious who the culprit is from the get go and inavertedly letting the viewers into that "secret" due to that takes away all the suspense this subplot might could have had if it were better executed. Kinda a writing fail, because watching and waiting for the characters to get a clue and that for about half of the show is truly not as exciting as the writers think it is, especially since it started to overshadowing everything else a few episodes back.
They are indeed dragging the dead horse over the finish line π The Nam family scenes, little as there were, were cute as always, but the whole other waiting till the characters finally catch up to the most obvious things is very annoying/grating to watch. Should really have been a 12 eps drama tbh.
Already knew Jehoon was one hell of an actor due to his other projects i watched prior to TD but daaaamn here in this drama his versatility really shines with the several different undercover personas. And he always looks like he has the best time during it, haha. Really a dream role for any actor that loves challenging themselves and their range. Hope to see him doing a more comedic role in the future because he has a very good sense for its timing/situational humor (and his nerdy laugh always gets meeeee xD)
To be honest, i kinda sad they don't want to show killer kokdu again. I loved that scenes so much but that's ok…
After those scenes with manic kkokdu yelling and slowly advancing on his enemies like prey I really want to see junghyun in a 'baddie' role now, like being the anti-hero or even psycho killer in a thriller kdrama or so. He would slay such a role so much π
This drama made me LOL with Yeonwoo's silliness. Like when he was typing a message and didnt know how to use a…
the way he hammered the send button repeatedly to "make the sounds appear" meaning the ringtone of FL's phone but thought it was YWY's actual voice... i lost it π
I'm more of a fantasy/sci-fi person, but if the story is actually good, I'll give anything a go.I read the synopsis…
This show is actually fun, but not as fantasy/supernatural-eque as you may want it to be. Try "From Now On Showtime" instead as there is a staggering lack of it in your watchlist. This drama here is also a good watch if you just want something light/no-brain-y, tho
this drama is so cheesy and whacky in the best way but my favorite part about it is how chocolate and sugar is what powers Rembrary's holy abilities π His constant cat and mouse game with FL to eat some snacks before she can take it away from him and his desperation when she does is the best. I getchu buddy, who doesn't love chocolate haha
