who the other one?
Could also be that but to me it looked like more but who knows haha

It’s about various couples hitting their heads against the wall. Watch for the moment because it’ll be forgotten…
Really? How many kdramas talking about relevant and realistic problems in marriage/relationhip and SK's society are there, then? Because i have rarely if ever seen such a show, tbh. This is all, but not your typical romcom. Hell, i would not even call this a romcom, but a character study of messy people that try and fail to deal with what is thrown at them, lol. I love how relatable it is, no kdrama typical fairy tales here.

Title Strangers Again Spoiler
who the other one?
It is very much implied by now that the both CEO's are dating each other haha.

It's starting to get annoying. The female lead is so boring
Actually... they are both a mess, but an entertaining one. I love how the drama speaks about relevant and realistic topics and problems in marriage/relationship and society.

You marry because you make a promise to spend your life with the other person and stay through thick and thin.…
well i said it is a promise, another sort of commitment, but ofc it is not happily ever after guaranteed. IRL is no kdrama after all, lmao. Depends always on the people and their circumstances and everyone is different. So some may stay married for a year/two, some for five or ten and others stay happy together their whole life. There is no one size fit all, and as with so much in life "it depends" ;)

Plus, there are the legal benefits (if applicable to where you live) when getting married, that are mentioned below, of course. It is a form of social security, even without kids.
On Our Blooming Youth Feb 16, 2023
Given how lonely he was, Hwan developing a crush already is not too fast. Because by its very nature having a crush can happen in the spur of a moment. And the more he saw of her the more he empathized and related to her, which helped... feels along lol.

Also him having a crush rn doesn't mean he realizes fully and/or will act on it, especially due to said fiance and well, him being CP, of course. It is just having caught some feels for now (at least) nothing more, and rather adorable.

This is such a hidden gem
A good drama, sure. Nothing hidden about it, tho, since it is very popular. Be it in south korea or internationally.

Wow this is real… this is what really happening in the society nowadays. It doesn’t mean you’ll be happy…
You marry because you make a promise to spend your life with the other person and stay through thick and thin. Making it official, becoming the other's family. Like, to say there is no reason to get married if you don't want children is veeeeery narrow-minded tbh. Not all couples want kids but they still may want to get married for various other reasons. Easy as,

Can i safely skip thru the business/rich fam parts w/o losing anything of value? Bc it is already boring me to tears in eps 1

Kinda unrelated but I think as fellow German you can/will appreciate this short Yoo Teo vid 😁https://youtu.be/rMhwRONr5oE

I'm gonna watch this till the end, leaving my why-so-stupid busy explaining brain at the doorstep. I JUST WANT…
It is definitely my current turn brain off and roll with it kdrama after "Good Job" last year, which also was royally stupid (basically chaebol batman) but fun. This drama here is even more corny and a mess plot-wise where logic is to be left at the entrance always. But i confess it is hard at times to not question the events onscreen, lmao.

Maybe is because there are others kdramas with similar plot that I was expecting something different. This week…
>>>>writer is just making things hard for the actors with the lines and playing two characters Doctor/Kkokdu.

Don't worry, Kim Jung Hyun can handle that and then some with his acting abilities and range. I would take a wild guess and say the duality and difficulty of roles is what made him sign up for it. But yeah, the lead's said in an interview that they have a LOT of dialogue and they were not lying lol.

As for the pacing... well when they remembered in eps 3 i was already afraid it would go too fast, so that they put on the brakes on that is actually good. For a light romcom with not too deep a story, the romance pacing is actually on par with others of its genre. Romance development happens always around eps 8-12 in kdramas after all.

THE RATING HAS RISEN, HALLELUJAH
it always fluctuates between 7.9 and 8.0 tbh. It is wayyyy more of the latter tho, i would say in the 8,5 ballpark
On The Interest of Love Feb 13, 2023
So i watched exactly one episode and i am the least person to drop it this early, but this drama feel this is one of the don't bother further shows... so i guess i am gonna take that advice and move on from all the too messy and depressing things herein xD

Title Crash Course in Romance Spoiler
I'm more annoyed with the dragging out of the murder mystery. I mean unless there's some twist we haven't thought…
Honestly this is just another reason why i have zero interest in this subplot. Feels tacked on just to fill screentime tbh and the non-mystery of it all is not really helping the "mystery"lol. The show is strongest when focusing on the leads and the Nam fam. Glad we are no longer walking on the spot or even taking several steps back but advance at last after two episodes of mildly annoying "we can't be together" shuffling haha.
On Crash Course in Romance Feb 13, 2023
Cannot pinpoint it exactly but the last two episodes annoyed me a bit. Maybe because they were draggin out the issue and this ridiculous "scandal" too much idk. And it took foooooorever for CCY to get to know the truth and all this wha wha whaaa "forbidden love" angst was so superfluous due to that fact, and just there to pad out runtime. Also when he did ofc it is not thru FL because she stayed a noble idiot all the way thru, ugh. Still enjoy the show but this was just... all frustrating to watch, tbh. Also ffs, can someone take these horrible momzillas to a lake for forever diving pls? Feed the fish with these callous, entitled assholes. Thank you.

Loved the not-dream, tho, heh. (i knew it!) I still could not care less about the mystery/murder part of the drama, but i guess i understand why it is there, as otherwise there would not be enough story for 16 eps i think. Cannot wait for the overdue family reunion next week, however. Give Jae Woo his hyung back :D

Because there were actually no problems in the relationship itself. They were both deeply in love and he doesn't…
The issue is also hara being extremely self-centered, aka not taking other's feelings/needs into account, because her own emotions and needs are paramount to them. Eun Beom loved her so much that he ignored it for such a long time until he felt suffocated by it. Even now, years after their divorce, we see the pattern of him being her sounding board for her problems and him taking on even cases and doing all kind of things for her to ease her burdens but she is never shown to do the same for him and takes it for granted. She doesn't even do it maliciously or with ill-intent to use him or something. It is just... what she is used to with him. So outside of EB having to assert his boundaries better, she also has to learn to stop and listen to him too, to be as much a support to him as he is to her, in order to balance out their currently unequal dynamic.

Hence they BOTH have their baggage to sort out and growing to do in order to make the relationship work now. It is never one person's sole responsibility to do so. They are in this together.

Those are really insightful bits about them. I enjoyed reading/going on thru them. Thankfully with translation…
Look at the photo section above, then go through each "love note" from the pov of one of the leads each, It has nice little tidbits of inner thoughts that tells you a liiiiiiittle bit more about where both of them stand, emotion-wise. I mean nothing major you couldn't have picked up watching as well, but it is nice and handy to have these notes (since it makes clear that EB has always still loved Hara but thought himself not worthy enough of her etc to ppl who missed that. So it is not just a mdl comment section interpretation of his character, but writers intent. Things like that.)

should i just drop????
Not to be that person but why are you asking that other people here? This is something you have to decide for yourself after all, because it is *your* time investment alone you make or cease to make into a show.

Someone posted and translated Hara's and Eunbom's heart diary (released every 2 episode) at photos.. Maybe you…
Those are really insightful bits about them. I enjoyed reading/going on thru them. Thankfully with translation even, bc I still struggle with reading Hangul in a handwritten style 😩

Many thanks to the person who uploaded it ❤️
