It is more likely that the writer shows us the all is lost narrative, while having left out details of their counteractions that come to light bit by bit in the following eps. Also cue the plot mac guffin which is either a person (director park) or vital evidence or both. I feel Hyosung is a wild card in there who after seeing how his sister suffers decides to step up after all and look for the vital person. Something like that.

But we all know what happens to antagonists in family drama doing so in eps 36 of 50, right? 😂 May not be next week but in eps 40 or so. However the turn of tables in favor of the protagonists is as certain as water is wet 😁 (we also have HS' father return left, so maybe we get closure on this storyline till eps 40 and then it focuses mainly on HS' fam, since you know the other one will be in jail🤣The only question open here is if shady dude ever manages stop being shady or if he does partake in the family trip toward prison after all. Dunno if Jjima means anything else rn, i bet if there is something, Viki subs will make a note about it tomorrow. Taeho's feelings for HS have definitely solidified further in this episode, because he rightfully attributed his reunion with his granny to her, plus they are so many other things he is grateful for and has missed out on without HS, which he tells her. He was already ride or die about (marrying) her before, but now this has gotten a new, additional depth, as have his feelings. (Also shows in the way he talks with her on the phone, how he looks at her now. Stuff like that. He is utterly and truly whipped and in love (not infatuation) now and HS is the one for him <3 I love to see this side as it shows how much HS has also done for him (emotionally and otherwise), and he not just for her.

It is no surprise he keeps hush about the chaebol wars tho, bc he wants to keep HS out of it. So i don't see this as a lack of communication between the two but protection. Since TH has seen what happened last time with HS as she was dragged into the line of fire (evil cow treating her like a girl for hire) and how much she was hurt by it. Hence why he is not talking about those problems with her, but still gets his strength from spending time and recharge with her. I actually fear them targeting HS, ever since the demon mentioned to look into his private life... but so far he shielded her well. They gonna turn him into a loose cannon should they dare to try anything with her tho. She is the one person (plus halmeoni too now) you better not mess with if you don't wanna catch his hell fury.

Speaking of fury, none is as bad as a woman scorned and that is exactly what happened now with Sis Classist. Dude made a graaaaaave mistake here that's gonna bite him in the aaaaaassss. Bc her daddy dearest was already very very pissed about the treatment of his daughter by "the teasan family" Like i know she shouldn't have expected to become lovely dovey with the dude as he told her before, but diplomacy reeeeeeaally isn't TM's strong suit (as it already showed with the TH confrontation.) Hence gran bettter has something in hand then. But i expect it to look as tho the antagonists will win for a few eps before it turns into the leads' favor again. That storyline is a (family) kdrama staple after all haha.

i agree, but imo my demon has the same problem and even more so with senseless circular plot points, obligatory tragedy (we have had what...2-3 breakups of the leads there?) and padding. 12 eps max would have been the best for both shows and would have allowed for better, tighter writing, but i personally prefer this one here. It is best to ffw the fairy side-stories tho as they add nothing to the story.
