Well, at this point in time (last 2 eps) it is only normal to show deceptive spoilers ...to keep us breathless,…
Yes, TRHC was the pits of bs for real. Especially since that show glorified the villains destroying the leads life for 30+ eps with one being a literal stalker and abuser (FL ex) portrayed as poor lonely man, so this did LOYL a thousand times better already. And it also seems I can stop my 'the end is nigh' speech about LOYL after all as it turns around in the end. Let's just see how far they gonna take the angsty bullshit before this tho...

Lmao, no i won't touch any family drama or dailies in the next six months at least, and only watch the upcoming disaster weekender from a detached pov with twitter posts etc, not more. So i won't even rewatch OA, bc i am tired and need a break from the genre after two disappointing shows in a row. Gotta have to think really really hard if i ever want to watch a weekender while it airs, because in the end the writers ALWAYS fuck up a perfectly good thing, and it frustrates me to no end. Sure here are two episodes to go and i may be needlessly pessimistic but yeah got ptsd of THRC here with how the story is tanking at the end.
Oh Yeondoo is no character in this show but the brainless FL in TRHC, who swore eternal love to ML who made plans for the future with her, then ran away under the cover of night, abandoned him w/o a word or letter left behind, and never intended to return while living happily on her own with her child. They only reunited through drama happenstance over a year later while ML held a candle for her and tried to find her the whole time.
Sounds familiar? Yes because the same bs could be or is likely to happen in LOYL's ending episodes this weekend too (minus child) It has all the idiotic markings of it already and i am so pissed about that. Especially since Taeho seems to get treated like shit and the end of the short stick in it all for no reason other than FL turning into a callous, inconsiderate asshole at the writer's moronic behest and deconstruction of everything built in the past 30-ish episodes. I hope to be wrong really but yeeeeeah
What is the twitter site to find this spoiler please?
Fwiw, i really hate how with all the deadbeat bullshit and this stupid ass direction taken the writer has all but forgotten about the other characters. So much we could have done instead instead of playing sacrificial lamb to cneating douchebag dad, honestly. So many small stories or nice character moments we could have seen and had instead. Bc with all this superfluous last minute angsty nonsense there is no story catharsis possible anymore or will fall very very short, ugh.
Studying at Busan? I haven't seen that specifically, but if so - you go girl - do it On Your Own w/out pushy TH…
Oh i know about hajun and uee being the ones who traveled to Busan for two days of extended filming there at/near the beach, but it looks like some xy months/years later timejump kinda deal and last minute reunion. at best. I really hope i am needlessly pessimistic here and its a more positive outcome, but tbh atp i don't believe it anymore. Suits to the dumbass runaway narrative the preview has spun, after all.

Yeeeep then you have seen what I mean. I swear I'll rate this show even lower than TRHC bc at least it was continously bad and didn't blindsided you with superfluous bullshit coming out of the left field in the last minute. Like what's the fucking point of the show with that happening? Aside from deconstructing everything ever done in it. Uuuuuugh.
I'm talking about Beauty and Mr Romantic which is starting this month
Hope you enjoy but I'm out and passing on that one. After two disappointing airing fam dramas in a row I really need a break. And LOYL is even worse than TRHC because it was consistingly good till last weekend with the writer driving down a cliff with its ending.
Well, at this point in time (last 2 eps) it is only normal to show deceptive spoilers ...to keep us breathless,…
Having a possibly misleading preview is one thing, but having ending filming spoilers with knetz saying it is one of the worst ending to a family drama possible, a whole other. No wedding no nothing, just angsty bullshit with the possibility of a last minute reunion... maaaaaybe. I hope to be proven wrong, but its looking grim and without any catharsis in sight or satisfying resolution for any of the characters. It seems she's abandoning Taeho for months, if not years. FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN BEING A GIANT INCONSIDERATE/CALLOUS ASSHOLE (to TH.)
Also what is is with weekender FL's and having the conflict resolution capability of a toddler, always running away at the slightest problem? First Yeondoo, now this dumbass. uuuuuuugh. We will see what it is gonna be, but i have a baaaaad feeling about this after seeing things on twitter. Jfc male leads deserve so muuuuuch better in the most recent weekenders than they get, fr. Hence this applies for the upcoming weekend & final episodes:
Hmm, according to twitter spoilers you better set yourself up for a shitty ending, That filming in Busan looked all but HAPPY (ENDING) and it appears that the dumbass fully ran away, never to be seen again as it includes her studying there. We will see, but settle your expectations toward the earth core regarding a satisfying tie off to a story ruined by the writer last minute.
Giggling because of him texting her like crazy, which is just the thing to do whenever in a relationship/flirting with someone in SK and her being completely flustered and overwhelmed by it. I love small cultural differences being shown like that haha
I guess her reaction would be "Oh - is this what I have to do?" Ok then. I guess it is us the viewers that harp…
Gotta add that if the preview is not misleading and this dumbass is really running away, nowhere to be seen/found for possibly weeks or so it is INCREDIBLY inconsiderate of her to discount Taeho's own trauma of losing the beloved people in his life, and being left behind/alone. Just all around shitty of her, if true.
Chae Jong Hyeop certainly has no speech impediment in korean. He has excellent line delivery in his kdrama. I…
Oh I see, but if he has learned Japanese for his role only and maybe even only trained his lines, it makes a lotta sense :D I mean I've been learning Korean for two years now but I'm still super shit in speaking it lol. So he is, as you said, doing fine with his Japanese (and way better than I've been doing with korean) heh. And it fits his role of being the biggest puppy, too, at that😁
Have started watching this for ML since i loved him in "Castaway Diva" and am not disappointed. Chae Jong Hyeop always delivers on golden retriever energy of the highest level in his roles. So adorable, aww 🥰🥰🥰
Not bothered by the lack of subs for his korean thoughts since i understand like 90% of it anyway lol (thx to language learning and kdrama)
Funny how this ML has a speech impediment when he speaks Japanese. Don't know about the Korean side. Cute series…
Chae Jong Hyeop certainly has no speech impediment in korean. He has excellent line delivery in his kdrama. I think whatever fluency is missing with his japanese dialogue is due to him not being as comfortable as he is in his native language, understandably. But it also fits the role, given the character is only in Japan for two years now.
If Hyo shim would've chosen Tae min, instead of the childish brattiness that Tae ho showed about the wedding delay,…
For real, like sorry but saying this is as delusional as TM was with HS in general. Whenever she had trouble of her own back then, he discarded it right away and used it as a stage to talk about himself and only himself.
"After the surgery, Hyo-shim once again feels a fundamental doubt about her life when she sees her family members…
Dumb heffa lmao, indeed. Like there's a reason why Taeho plans to spend spending time away from their families going forward. it's needed not only for their relationship to work (focus on their own family plans, careers etc) but more so for HS mental health and her learning to a) see him as her family now too she needs to prioritize b) learning healthy boundaries with her fam through distance. I thought before it would not be needed as she was on a good way without physical distance but nope that martyr dumbass proved me wrong. He's rightly recognized that she's otherwise always gonna be putting him on a back burner and ditches everything including him to let her family consume her whenever there's the slightest problem particularly with her mother. She's no concept of distance, self or boundaries when it comes to them and REALLY needs to learn it, best with supplementary therapy for her familial trauma. And the worst is she doesn't see how she is hurting other people being this way, in this case Taeho in particular.
Ofc he needs to discuss this with her and he will, but there hasn't been a time and place yet with how she lied to him, withheld info, was closed off to any attempts of him to reconnect, and rejected his offers of company, comfort, distraction etc that he'd no other choice but to leave her alone for now. Otherwise he'd have surely done so already, but that line of thinking of him makes a LOT of sense. Sadly I would not be surprised if the writer goes the full yard now and puts her back into a servitude forever mindset since it all went so well/righted the wrongs with her sacrificing herself like the dumbass she is. Tbh I admire Taeho's patience here with this because I surely would not have it. He was aware what he's signed up for with her but even he was shook by the extend of it and how deep that mindset runs last episode. (how easily she discards him whenever something happens with her fam in particular)
But we also have spoilers of Hajun & Uee being at the Busan beach for a last hurrah filming today & tomorrow so it will be turning out well after all. However as said before that storyline and conflict is so displaced at the end and should have happened much earlier between them. It gives Taeho little room to react accordingly to how she went under such a surgery without letting him know. Or you know ANY of the details that occurred leading up to it with the how's and whys as her husband to be. Yikes. That is normally grounds for a break up/separation tbh. I really hope he gets the chance to confront her at least and heavily at that. And it's worse if the preview is not misleading and she's gone for days/weeks/months then. As it completely discounts his own trauma with losing his loved ones/being left behind/alone.
