How I wish they would air the remaining episodes in one go today as a Korean New Year gift to all viewers. Netflix aired 3 episodes of "Captivating the King" instead of 2 yesterday, I am quite sure if there were only 4 episodes left to the end, they would have aired all 4 in one day.
Am I the only one seeing the striking resemblance between Lee Ki Woo, the elder brother and the chinese actor Hu Yu Hao, see link https://kisskh.at/people/13208-hu-yun-hao
Why in the world they pulled up his ex-fiance now? The series is nearing its ending, why don't they cocentrate on the characters and storyline that have been so constant in the drama? Like how the cancer being shifted from one person to another, how the main male lead deals with his fear of death, how his grandpa handles the love of his grandson, how the evil couple should meet their karma.. I sincerly think the appearance and trouble makings of the ex fiance is a a total nonsense.
Anyone can tell me who are the parents of Yu Shi San junior who appears in the last scene? He said his father makes wine and his mother is good with the sword...
I so like the cast, great performance. The princess is a joy to watch, she is a great actress. I haven't enjoyed a costume drama as this one for a while now, the story is good, the pacing is great, the shooting of the fight scenes keep me glued to the couch, never a doubt moment. What a treat....
I heard something crazy…I can’t say I understand cnetizens at all the fact that they find the male lead ugly…
I personally find him easy to look at and has good posture in costume drama, his moves in fighting scenes are great to watch, too. He also uses his own voice (and he sings too), which is a plus. Yes, I have heard some netizens back in China critize his looks, but there are also positive comments too. I am going to follow his future work, he has me his fan now.
I love this drama, the script is well written, and the acting from the cast is just great. K dramas have always deliver good stories in general, they rarely disappoint me.
Never a dull moment so far in this drama, the story, the acting, the dialogues, the directing, shooting sequence and fight scenes are so captivating, standing ovation from me for this drama and can't wait for more episodes to come. Have come across a couple of videos by bloggers in youtube about the male lead, apparently some fans don't like him playing the main role, say he is not handsome enough, lol, as if he were ugly and that being handsome is the success factor that counts.
The female lead is an excellent actress, she has totally conquered me. The director did great in this drama, the shootings, the pacing, the acting from the cast, the fighting scenes are simply a joy to watch. A totally binge worthy drama, can't wait for the next episodes, in fact, I'd glady pay for a fast track package.
Love the directing, the fight scenes, the story and the cast. I am so enjoying this drama even though I find the ML not really my favourite, he has hardly any facial expressions, hope he will improve.
OK, watched all episodes, whoever wrote the script, the dialogues needs to go back to school, and the same goes to the director. Didn't Bai Lu, Dylan Wang and Miles Wei read the script before signing up? Were they forced to accept the project?
Good, fast track is available today ending the misery. I need to learn how to drop dramas like this sooner, the story line is so so weak , what a waste of time.
