I heard about the novels ending and hope the drama stays true to that. Even though it's mostly a romance, I appreciate…
I read the ending of the novel, in its original language, btw. Believe me, if you like happy endings, you will not wish the drama to end in the same way the novel does.
i dont think that there'll be a sad ending in this ! bc i saw that the last ep was where they'll get married
Thank you for telling me this!!. I was even thinking of dropping this drama because of such a sad ending in the novel. Now I'll keep watching it with a lighter heart. I 'll never ever watch any dramas or read novels ending badly, I just refuse bad endings:)
I finally found the novel in Chinese online. I couldn't help but to jump to the ending, which has broken my heart completely. I fervently hope the adaptation of the novel in drama has a different, well deserving ending.
I haven't read the novel, can't find it online whether in English or Chinese.Being a viewer of the drama, I think the script could have. should have given the main leads a more adult approach in their relationship, the shyness, the typical adolescent behaviour when they are together are unfitting for t adults, especially when they have experienced so much in their professions. This is the fault in the script, the weakness of the director. It has nothing to do with the performance of the main leads who portrait exactly what are asked of them. They are performers of relatively young age but are excellent in delivering what are asked of them.
the characterizations of the leads are, same as others in the drama, defined by the director,so instead of criticising the fl as an immature adolescent, take it up with the director. The female lead is a competent, experienced actrss, she has always delivered.
what a touching and yet soothing drama to go back to after a while. Am retwatching it and totally enjoying it. it is how lives are, can be, our daily lives can be mundane but can also beexciting, filled with intend ,it is joy and sorrow, it is about moving on, treasuring the past.
Despite her young age, she is an extremely capable, expressive actres, very natural in her performance. There are so many young chinese actresses who invest on their looks but not on their acting skills, but she is different. She is whatever role she is given , she does not play the role. I do hope she has the best care now and stands firm for her need to fully recoverbefore anything else.
a beautiful drama in many ways, the costumes, the visuals, the settings, the story, the cast. I am glad the ending is not a cliff hanger, can't wait for part two. Hope it will come sooner and better than what happened with Lost you forever, the part two of it is a let down, in several respects.
Watching ep.21 as I write, the scene of flower pedals released by the magnificent kit and falling into the hands of the marveled commoners in the night is simply poetry. This drama is poetry.
Ist the second part of florurished peony, 1 part is heroine doing business,2 part heroine saving the country.…
Good, so part one does not end with a cliffhanger, I still think of the ending of Princess Agent in which the leads were in freezing water struggling to survive, this ending still haunts me to this date.
The entertainment industry is not something anyone can walk into and be successful. God knows what the so called stars have to endure, prior and during their career. Extreme fandom plays a heavy hand in the industry too. Fans can be as toxic and cruel as the management. I do not know, as most of us don't, the extend of the neurological issues she is currently facing, but I do hope, trust, she has now placed herself in good medical hands and surrounded herself with only good, loving persons. She has both financial and inner resources to recover herself from this ordeal, the fact she finally made her status known is an important step towards recovery, be it be days, months and longer. She is young and strong in will as she has so successfully demonstrated in her works. We shall be waiting, patiently and lovingly for her comeback.
I saw this review on reddit and had to share it here"So far, I really enjoy it, far more than Blossom, which surprised…
Points well taken. I especially agree to the repetitiveness of dramas based on reincarnation, rebirth tropes. When they come out, I venture in to watch the first few episodes but find myself walking away from them. This kind of theme has become really boring to me.
I enjoy the story, refreshng and a whole lot better than other dramas being aired concurrently. The female lead always delivers great performance in her dramas, this one is of no exception. The male lead's performance fits right in. In addition, the directing, cinematography, visuals, costumes are of high quality, when combined with a refreshing story, great cast, it makes the drama all the more a pleasure to watch for me
