I've never seen Dexter, but reading the synopsis I could definitely see it getting adapted. Crime/serial killer…
ahhh the antihero, i haven't seen many of them in kdramas. it would be cool to see them experiment with it.
that's another one I haven't heard of, but it sounds really good!! I see it is (loosely) based on a Stephen King novel which probably means good source material too.
adsghksdfja apparently it's not even on the tentative july schedule should i just stop getting my hopes up?
the wait is getting physically painful at this point, i'm really worried that all of this anticipation is going to raise the bar so high that i'll just end up getting disappointed when it finally airs, that happens like every single time i look forward to a drama rip
my comment posted before I was done- please send it to a production company in Seoul- maybe Studio Dragon? :-)
omg I love Woo Do Hwan! Maybe older Fergus? For the ones listed above, he's too young, except for maybe Roger? The only other characters I can think of are Fergus and Ian. John Grey?
I never watched Outlander but a friend explain to me how great the book are so I think I will read it to try !…
I've never seen Dexter, but reading the synopsis I could definitely see it getting adapted. Crime/serial killer dramas are a trend nowadays + they just did criminal minds a couple years ago.
Sorry but an actor with a baby face can't play Jamie Fraser.... he has to be a manly, "rough around the edges"…
I think Yoo Ah In is pretty manly, + the picture I used is five years old. Real talk, tho, I agree it's why I had such a hard time picking someone. All the popular actors today in that age bracket have that "flower boy" look which is so not Jamie, or their acting wouldn't match.
Jung So Min, Yang Se Jong, Joo Ji Hoon,Shin Min Ah don't do supporting roles anymore, they do lead roles only,…
The thing with Outlander is, because Jamie and Claire move around a lot and assuming the kdrama would have to shorten a lot, most of the "supporting roles" would end up being more like extended cameos. Like Yang Se Jong would only be in it for an episode maybe two at the very end so it might be possible in that sense. And in my crazy dreams they would all want to be a part of such a big production lolol. Joo Ji Hoon's role isn't supporting tho, he's a main character (main villain).
This would be very interesting as I am a HUGE Outlander Fan!!
I think the first two seasons of Outlander would really suit the kdrama style of story telling, a complete story arc in one full season, because of Culloden and it would be so exciting to see actually happen!
Now thinking about it, just off the top of my head, maybe Jun Ji Hyun would be my pick for Claire, what do you…
I've only ever seen Jun Ji Hyun in Legend of the Blue Sea which I wasn't a big fan of but it also wasn't your typical role and I know she's talented so I could see her potentially doing Claire. Jun Ji Hyun, Song Hye Kyo, and Son Ye Jin are big names I would not be surprised at if they ended up getting cast in a real Korean adaptation of Outlander.
that's another one I haven't heard of, but it sounds really good!! I see it is (loosely) based on a Stephen King novel which probably means good source material too.
omg I'm so dumb I totally forgot I saw You Who Came From the Stars and The Thieves oops
