Did meng jue die at the end??
I think it was an open ending. There was a lot of debate as to whether he truly died in the drama, in the book the last scene ended with the skies turning black from the thousand arrows raining on him by orders of Liu Xun, but here Liu Xun himself hesitantly draws an arrow but never shows if he did end up shooting it at MJ

Title The King's Woman Spoiler
So for those who are not able to watch yet but just want to know what has happened so far: The first 6 episodes…
Kinda hard to root for the main male if he's an asshole who manipulated his way to own the girl. Makes it worse that Jing Ke was also a childhood friend who helped save him tho only Gong Sun Li was on his mind all these years

Title Eternal Love
OKAY plagerism controvercy over the original book aside; this drama is amazing! I personally thought the story…
I heard many good things about Battle of Changsha which is a pre-modern war drama! If you're looking for something historical then nothing else atm other than one I mentioned tho there's a few upcoming ones to be excited about such as Tribes&Empires, NIF 2, etc

Bahaha the part about wishing Ye Hua would became a lotus again made me lol. As much as I liked the OTP I was a bigger fan of Mo Yuan for many reasons and also wished he got the girl :P

Btw if you are looking for something similar to NIF I would suggest The Advisor's Alliance which is another military strategist thriller with quality many are comparing to NIF

Title Lost Love in Times Spoiler
Can someone summarize the previews of episode 17 and 18? Thanks!! :)
Yuan Ling makes excuses to move into 7th's residence 'cause jealousy+ keep an eye on Qingchen, and sees her and 7th bonding over music. At night he asks QC whether his feelings are truly one-sided and she feels that way about 7th. She responds her decision to stay at 7th should be enough indication.
9th prince mistook Qingchen as his late wife and hugs her. Looks like there will be even more competition for 4th now haha

Ah Chai's princess declares openly the one she wants to marry is Yuan Ling to the shock of everyone else

Looks like next week is when the romances are finally gonna get more development? 16 eps in & I still find 7th prince and Qingchen more natural and appealing than the main so far I just might end up shipping them instead LOL come on William show us what u got boy

Title Lost Love in Times Spoiler
After the first few eps can only say hope it gets better, simply feels rushed and undeveloped, the acting mediocre…
Ditto, I don't see much plot development between Qing Chen and Yuan Ling at this point other than conveniently running into him a few times and saving/helping him each time,(all caught up to ep12) creating bonding opportunities that feels forced at worst. At least with Qing Chen and Yuan Zhan she has her motives approaching him, and he is obviously interested and wary of her at the same time

Why do I feel like there's more chemistry between Qing Chen and Yuan Zhan? LOL.
totally agree! especially the duet scene the way he looks at her

Just picked this up. The acting is a bit fake until now (first 15 mins), does it get any better? Is it worth watching?…
It does. Problem with this drama is the rather rushed and weak start but everything from acting to plot gets better tho nobody here will be winning awards anytime soon

Okay soldiering on this show does get a lot better once the main story rolls in. And I have to agree with a previous comment that the chemistry between the 2nd male Prince Zhan and main girl is a lot stronger than the main male so far . I actually found myself rooting for them while Yuan Ling and Qingchen don't make me feel much besides visuals. Imo Yuan Zhan is more interesting as he's balanced between intelligent and unambitious yet tactful and devious when enticed to strike, def the dark horse among the princes.

On another note it's kinda funny seeing all these recurring actors from Eternal Love here (9th disciple, 2nd heavenly prince and Su Jin). And 11th prince here is a total cutie !

Thoughts after the first ep - not bad but bit of an awkward watch at times especially with some of the action…
I don't get it lol

After the first few eps can only say hope it gets better, simply feels rushed and undeveloped, the acting mediocre and so is the directing so far. Sad to say as many are tuning into this for the Eternal Love director, but this might go down as a total miss if it continues this way.

With 54 episodes you'd think they'd develop the romance in the first time phase more convincingly but I'm just not sold on their love. I found the acting and chemistry between Han Dong and Han Xue more enjoyable for whatever little screentime they had compared to the leads

Thoughts after the first ep - not bad but bit of an awkward watch at times especially with some of the action sequences, CGI and acting. As for the acting/chemistry it's too early to judge for the leads but visually speaking LSS and William Chan do look good together. Wouldn't call LSS acting here her best tho

Someone should count how many times Wei Young was framed and how many times people tried to kill her. It happened…
If it was a drinking game, we'd all be wasted by now
