Douban can be unnecessarily harsh, but fair. It's too bad many are giving Eternal Love 1-star without even watching because the author got busted for plagiarism. While the ones who HAVE watched it are giving it on average 4 out of 5 stars, and asking others to stop judging the drama based on what the novel/author did. And I agree. Eternal Love easily deserves a 7-8

Can any novel readers tell me if Mo Yuan loves Si Yin? I know Si Yin has nothing but respect for him, but I want to believe he does have feelings for her

And Yang Yang as Ye Hua/Mo Yuan in the movie version :P

It took three lifetimes of tragedy for a happy ending from what I heard! in the novel Ninth is the only one who stayed/looked after Kunlun Mountain after Si Yin disapppeared, rather than being mere plot device to fuel Si Yin's hatred towards Li Jing & Xuan Nu.

Without offending anybody, main reasons being Angelababy's acting, changed parts of novel, too much green screen,and repetitiveness which leads to dragging out to 62 episodes is not needed. Lol 8.2 is actually generous compared to Chinese ratings - it's a flop there despite high viewership. I read somewhere the production had to issue a statement "apologizing" for the disappointment, and they tried their best.

Eternal Love (prefer to call it Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms) is different. Like @Humbledaisy says it's pure fantasy. I also like that one wayyy better as well, it went by quick.

Sigh Li Jing, you screwed up bad. And we all feel sorry for you cause we can't hate you :( really liking Vin a lot in this role and Mark Chao as Mo Yuan/Ye Hua

Heard so much about this drama (NOT in a good way kind) also I instinctively almost avoid anything with Zheng Shuang and to much lesser degree, Hawick Lau. But I just realized one of my new favorite actors Vin Zhang is the second male lead here - and probably one of the few good things about this drama so I've heard....therefore wondering if it's worth it just for him. His character sounds pretty dope lol. To watch or not to watch? hmm

Peter Sheng was stiff too in "Go Princess Go" (please go watch that if you haven't already XD) and I can see that he's trying, but I'm sure there's much better actors up for that lead role - like our boy Vin Zhang lol.

I might try and finish Love O2O, mainly cause of Vin. And I can't get enough of his character in Ten Miles/Eternal Love, did you get a chance to check him out here yet?! Anywayyy so stoked that he is FINALLY gonna lead in an upcoming drama "The King's Woman" where his leading lady is none other than Dilraba. One of the more decent rising C-actors so far, so he deserves it !

Haha I was so upset about his death too, him and the Senior disciple seem to be the two she got along most with :( another user mentioned in the novel that he wasn't supposed to die either ! WHYYY

Tell me about it I never expected this at all haha. And everyone who doubted Mark Chao as Ye Hua are eating their words now cause this man is a perfect Ye Hua . Yang Yang in the movie version will have some big shoes to fill !

Feng Jiu is adorable or what! even tho I don't like her dubbing at all. But her & Dong Hua...that's another ship to look forward to:D

He is great in his role, most of his scenes in the first few episodes so far but stays relevant throughout the series

All these sweet moments make me dread the tearjerkers later on >_< Never thought Mark Chao was hot, but finding him VERY attractive in this series whether as Mo Yuan or Ye Hua. Enjoying the chemistry between the leads so far

Just realized Ling Yu (Mo Yuan's 9th disciple) was Love O2O Wei Wei's "ex-husband' and I thought he looked so familiar

Can't believe this guy is in his 30s! He looks like he just turned 20. A multitalent he is, and good looking too:)
