Ugh my heart breaks for Mo Yuan. IMO he's the real second lead male. As much as I love the OTP who is stilll my main ship, I totally ship Mo Yuan too .darn it
Though I understand raws for the most part, I am SO GLAD to see episode 30 aka. best episode ever, subbed finally on Dramafever !! Ep 30 was romantically, emotionally and mentally satisfying on all levels

Aw I felt the same at first! shifu is just awesome and darn sexy. But then you realize Ye Hua deserves her too for all the things he goes through for her. Actually I think BQ is the lucky one here. Poor shifu though

Mo Yuan - Bai Qian is platonic. They care/respect each other but Bai Qian does not feel anything romantic for her teacher. As for MY, the author left it ambiguous whether he likes her. IMO he does. I'll gladly take him LOL

@Taylor_elle Yup!! I am just SO thankful the drama played out all the sexy scenes in the novel so we don't get cheated out of all possible romance. ESPECIALLY in a Chinese drama. And in a historical drama too?! Did Christmas come early this year? it sounds crazy but you know that's true when it comes to C-dramas :P
The most romantic kiss scene is the wedding night one, then the jealous Ye Hua angry-hurt kiss in ep 44 was so damn hot I abused the replay button for that too :p

YES that was totally me I about fangirl'd to the same things you mentioned!! For the longest time I ALWAYS catch the intro OST just for that scene of him advancing onto her in bed (its so freakin sexy or whaat)

I don't think Koreans will adapt this. Because Eternal Love is heavily based off Chinese mythology and fantasy concepts that won't cross over well, and the novel to which the drama is based off is plagiarized - making for bad press. As much of a hit the drama currently is in China, it still can't shake off the controversy with the plagiarism. Personally I'm sick of seeing remakes, and think this is one of those great works better left untouched.
Looking back, I am seeing ever more clearly this drama for what it is. A drama with great chemistry between Tiffany and Luo Jin - probably the only saving grace, but overall a major disappointment minus the great start

Mark is clearly the star of this drama, and although Yang Mi does well as Bai Qian she still pales in comparison to Mark who keeps true to his character with few, but rich in expression. Rewatching from beginning with subs (and raws at same time) I also noticed that despite the overlapping traits/similarities of Mo Yuan and Ye Hua (both are quiet, stoic and intense types) Mark successfully portrays them so distinctively you wouldn't think he's doing the same thing but for different characters. Truly a wonderful actor with depth
