I knew my girl Lu Yu Xiao is good at picking scripts, 'cause she has NEVER picked a bad one. All her dramas are so enjoyable, especially with HER in it. She's the icon, she's the star! ✨
This is not just an idol-fan romantic drama, it's really more than that. I'm surprised to see how I'm always guessing in every episode, pointing fingers at every possible character but still not sure who the main villain is. The mystery is mysterying, lol.
Thankfully, they didn't drag the conflict too much. The dynamic between Do Laik and Maeng Sena didn't change overnight because of a misunderstanding, and disappointment doesn't mean he doesn't care for her anymore—which makes it feel more natural, and that their shared bond is actually real.

She knew it wasn't because he actually wanted to say hurtful things to her. She knew his unstable, vulnerable side, that made her understand why he acted that way and how she's at fault too. I hope you can also see that and sympathize with him.
It was an emotional and kinda romantic movie. I love the bonding between the three main characters, even when their moments together were short-lived. The only thing is that it fell short in some aspects—and having flaws are perfectly normal/inevitable—but how I wish the scriptwriters did the plot better. It was still a nice movie, though.
The movie was 2 hours long, and no one besides Noi and the monk ever knew the whole thing about Krasues? Also, why did the baby disappeared when Krasues only attack animals to satisfy their hunger? I have a speculation that it was a set-up to stain the reputation of Krasues, but there's no clarification or even a hint. I think they forgot to clear that part out. The monk knew everything about Krasues and Krahang, but never informed anyone—he only did something when the problem already become huge, ultimately playing the "hero" at the end? That one did not sit well with me. Lastly, did those "hunters" (whatever they are) or other people in the room never questioned his reaction after seeing the heart of a Krasue? That was already weird enough, but okay... I guess.
In my opinion, just 10% of the movie is scary ('cause to be fair, the first few episodes were indeed startling). All in all, it's actually sad—one that will make you feel emotional, and it's also kind of romantic.
This guy Hou Ming Hao is so hardworking. You're telling me that he's the male lead to two of the top airing C-dramas rn, and lead in 4 dramas in 2025-present already? Take some rest, bao bei.

Aside from what the other commenter said, his voice sounded sincere and his expressions were good to me—though, I also acknowledge that not all Filipinos will take this kind of apology into account.
I think the first few apologies he said looked like they lack some weight (since he still did what he promised not to do) which might be the reason why you thought it was insincere. But personally, I don't think someone can change their habit/behavior overnight, which is why the few repetitive actions made sense to me. But don't worry, it will get better sooner and he'll learn to change to meet her needs, then tell her everything.
This is my first time seeing a movie where I know the place. The initial scenes got me hooked not because of its storyline (quite boring for me tbh ☹️), but because of the place and cinematography.
I binge-watched Speed and Love from December 30 to January 1 (today), going through 3 new years in the drama and 1 new year in real life. I didn't expect the timing would be so perfect!
It was a roller-coaster journey with this amazing drama. Every emotions felt raw, no one could've portrayed Jiang Mu and Jin Zhao better than Yu Shu Xin and He Yu. The way this drama got me "giggle now, sob later" was unforgettable, I don't think I can recover from this anytime soon.

She said she somehow already felt that they aren't blood-related related before she actually know the truth, but I think her feelings are still uncertain that time. She really misses her "brother" and wants to know how he's doing—everything was genuine care. She might haven't realize that feeling yet until they got to spend time together.
So far, it's really good. The only [minor] flaw I can see so far was that they kept on using new terms (in this generation) that is not supposed to be used in the past—the current timeline of the show. Tho "controlling" and "body-shamer" (describing Lance) is more used in the latest generations than in their generation, it was understandable that Via said it but it was quite confusing that she'll think of those terms *during high school.* Another one is when her father said he didn't take care of his kids to be his "retirement plan." Again, him saying that around when Via was still a high school somehow felt unrealistic. I get that the scriptwriters just want it to be relatable to the viewers, but I just can't help but notice those parts.
I don't mean that these thing didn't "exist" in the past, or people before are so dumb that it's impossible for people to ever think of those terms. What I mean is just the timeline compared to the use of terminologies. Correct me if I'm wrong, it's just my opinion about a little matter anyway.
