The last scene in Ep6 got me surprised, though it felt like there was more into Situ Ling's character. I also can't tell yet if he is a friend or a foe. Does anyone know how he is in the novel?
If it is unsettling for you, drop it and go on. It is not the only drama out there. Dramaland is meant to entertain.
I only said it is unsettling, but I never said it made me lose interest to not go on. Don't get me wrong, I still want to see it unfold because it's Suzy and Woobin after all. :)
Oh... It could've been better if Genie was not Satan, if they are two different entities. I find Ep1 interesting, but now, Ep2 does seem quite unsettling to me. Idk.
I just watched it because it was our assignment to watch it, but I ended up being fully immersed in the movie. It truly reflects the value system of traditional Filipinos before, and the anxiety that Jose Rizal felt after all the failures he endured despite years of trying to reform. I loved it.
The poster somehow looks odd, I get why it has to change but ARP's body was occupied by BL's hands, thus giving less spot for him, making them appear unbalanced. Please bring back the original purple one. Can we normalize picking the aesthetically-appealing posters from their official streaming sites? They're still official, anyways. 😭

One of the best dramas I've watched in a while! I'm already done watching it yesterday, yet I still feel empty now that it was finished. :( I miss our JiaoYan couple so much! It's time for a rewatch.
Sadly, the ending was rushed 😭 just like how almost every xianxia is. But thankfully, they gave us plenty of sweet moments and memories to cherish. Can someone tell me how it ended in the book? I just can't rest easily without knowing if they ever recognized each other or not, and what happened to the side characters in the other realms, and also curious about Mr. Wei's existence from the very start. I still have some questions unanswered, I needed more. :((
The way I bursted into tears with Ting Yan the moment Jiao Jiao dissipated into thin air... Such a heart-breaking scene, capturing the strong emotions of our couple that elicits on the screen. 😩
