it is Chinese - so, -1. all cdramas here are overrated
I'd say kdramas are overrated. Because cdramas automatically get lower scores because of the sheer number of episodes. So dramas need to justify that with start to finish engagement. Sure, some are, or in your opinion anyway but in general they are fairly rated.

Episode 24 destroyed my admiration for Fl. She could have asked for time to think and understand the situation.…
Who are these many people exactly ? I mean, even with actual binding by law 'divorce' or 'annulment', people can get back together if they wish to without anyone's approval.

The main thing is to resolve the cause of friction.

Misandrist ? No. Chinese culture specific ? Sure. It is a country where there was the law of 'nine familial exterminations' for thousands of years.

Keep watching lol, on what world did that come across as resentment from the FL's side ? That's emotional breakdown.

Hurtful things, she never blamed him directly so, apologize for what ? They got back together, that's all there is to it. Apology of the ML, it is the Chinese culture. Sins of the father runs deep though not as much as it was in the past.

If only human emotions worked like that. A breakup isn't like severing electric connections. It's not like an off switch where you turn 'breakup' on and everything goes dark.

She's extremely filial to the point that she gave up her dreams early on for that. She "ended" a relationship in the same manner. But, human emotions as I have said. Not positive negative charges. Hence, she reconnected soon after.

Title Legend of Zang Hai Spoiler
What would the season 2 be about ? The lead set out for something and he accomplished it. That chapter is closed.…
Because season 2 wouldn't make sense, that's why. Why would he learn to fight when he just left politics and violence all behind where vengeance almost consumed him. His superpower is already his genius intellect. He doesn't need martial arts.

If anything, I would love a more in depth deep dive into the Donxia lore and the Gui Seal because that part and the ending was kinda rushed, so I was not satisfied in that regard, aside from the sweet closure ending.

Could be interesting but I don't see it. After he is done with what he set out to do, he is content. Besides, he is not made for fighting anyway.

Title I Belonged to Your World Spoiler
Grandfather paradox.

There are some subtle differences between the book and the show, the main one being Xu Zhao Yang. In the original timeline in both the book and the show, he's a sadistic and cruel person. But in the current timeline of the book, unlike the show, he has no redemption arc. He's just as cruel, obsessed and evil under the facade of brilliance. The son effectively cuts him out of his mum's life by tearing up his facade.

Also, Xiao's development is much more sensible and logical in the book and basically Shuo and his dynamic forges him into a person who would watch over Yue for a lifetime.

In the book, Shuo mentions to Yue something along the lines of, "don't feel the burden of my erasure because I am the product of an evil that should not have existed in the first place. I have accepted my fate. I am here to change yours." It's more emotional from early on. Unlike the show where's it's more comedic because of the rom com aspect.

So Shuo's sacrifice in the end felt more meaningful in the book compared to the show. And did not hit like a truck. As the readers have already been prepared for it.

I hate this site so much, when a drama gets high ratings all this hate acc show up talking about the show getting…
You should learn to appreciate various takes on things because, not everyone's going to like the same thing. Otherwise we would be robots, not humans. One scene might seem pretty good to you while lame or childish to another. That is how it is. I like this show so far, doesn't mean I expect everyone else to hold my opinion.

But of course, if you come across someone who is hating on some moment because of the lamest of reason then you can explain the scene and be done with it. For example, someone watching by skipping scenes and then complain about not getting the context, so on and so forth.

There are also people who just thrive in chaos so they just joined the "popular because of the kiss scenes" bandwagon without even watching the drama. Better to ignore them.

If he killed 222 people (confirmed deaths) without being noticed for a significant amount of time, then he must…
In the book, he runs medical experiments on patients who are on the brink of death. The killer thinks that he is doing research, and the lives of 222 people are nothing compared to his research which would save millions, a miracle cure sort of. And many people sought him out, knowing that it could either be a hit or miss, hoping for a miracle cure. That's the modus operandi, giving desperate people hope. Death=experiment failed.

I can tell you that if they can adapt the book properly, you will be reeling when it ends with a dilemma. Moral one.

Any romance? It's not in the tags.
It's a historical epic/political drama based on a famous figure, King Qian Chu of Wuyue from the Song era. He had several wives and consorts and like two dozen kids. In the cast and trailer, only his first wife, Sun Tai Zhen, is there. So Don't think there is romance, even if there is, should be minimal. I don't think history recorded his romance much.

Not much
Sure. They don't have a lot of screentime together but their connection is vital to the plot. The best chemistry is between the lead and one of the main villains, Marquis/Duke Ping Jin.

I don't think the drama mentioned anywhere that it was real. It's fantasy bruh. Granted, they should not have used the name 'Iblis' and most of the backlash would not be there.
