My heart melted so much, episode 21 is a definite treat for the heart and soul β¨We finally got the 'kitchen…
The title of the episode "hope is everywhere with you in the future" reminded of the quote "home is where the heart is and my heart is where you are."
When I read your posts I sometimes think in Yifan's POV and I think she would feel so warm reading some of the things you wrote especially, "regrets don't always mean it's too late" and that she can love unapologetically now.
Times like I really wish cdramas had Netflix specials like other Netflix originals/partnerships do, especially with BTS scenes and getting the cast together for interviews/activities. Youku and Netflix if you're listening please partner and make C-Content!
Ofc, I will repeat my message:Yes, though I'm eagerly waiting for all these eps to hurry and come out, I'm gonna…
I've been waiting for TFF for years and it's still surreal to me that it ended up airing in Q1 of 2025 and now it's almost coming to an end.
I hope The First Frost continues to inspire everyone who open their hearts to it the way it has inspired you. I also really hope Pinocchio gets a cdrama remake with BJT and ZRN. I really want these two to come together in another drama soon.
I think 'The First Frost' βοΈπ had brilliantly captured the authentic and rawness of love. As much as I…
Reshape > Compromise
There is always so much perspective and nuance in your analysis.
Sang Yan was great in his own way but he definitely became a better man and lover overtime (pun not intended π) because of how he reshaped his life to become a pillar in Yifan's life. You see that in the noddle shop scene where he asks about her dream shop. He hears her out and then immediately responds "it's settled then." Even back then he thought she was deserving of her dreams. There was no question if she should "compromise" for a little shack or something less, it was how do I "reshape" myself to fulfill Yifan's dream.
i love how TFF is just going from strength to strength. a lot of dramas can tend to fall flat towards the last…
I have one word and that's wholesome.
While I'll be sad once this drama is over, every time I watch an episode (especially the recent episodes) I'm left with all the wholesome feelings. I think a huge credit goes to the author Zhu Yi for writing the novel and arcs in a way where there are conflicts to explore after the couple start dating. However they're facing most of these conflicts together, even if it's "Yifan's problem" Sang Yan is able to meet and become what Yifan needs when she has the courage to be vulnerable and share the good, bad and ugly with him.
More than anything I want Yifan to breathe in peace and love with her whole heart.
The awkwardness between Wen Yi Fan and Sang Yan has been nothing but endearing and enjoyable to watch seeing them…
Love this point about Sang Yan, "it wasn't just his moment of bragging for getting a girl he liked for years to be his but it was also his way of showing how much he values and feels proud of their relationship that he wants the whole world to know of it."
Sang Yan is proud but he's even more protective of the people he loves and he aims to give the best from the beginning. When people question that Sang Yan's "only job" is to "fall in love" I don't think they realize how much emotional intelligence, effort and time goes into being present when your loved ones need you. I also love how attentive he is to presenting Yifan as his girlfriend in the right setting. I've said this before and I'll say it again Sang Yan is the epitome of "if he wanted to he would."
Coming to Yifan - I can say so much but she deserves a comment that stands on its own. It breaks my heart when I see certain comments about her. I hope people see her actions and attention to detail that you mentioned. Yifan cares more than people give her credit for. Yifan has seen so much of the world but in her own way she's still maintained her innocence, kindness and strength. I'm so excited to see these three traits transform into passion, bravery and courage as she enters her dating era with Sang Yan.
I know we're almost 20 episodes into this drama but sometimes it's surreal to me that this drama is airing right now and we're seeing a beautiful novel with the most cherished characters come to life.
The π‘ scene has been in my head for the longest time and I cannot wait to see it in the drama. This poster has been living rent free in my head.

Till March 10 to forever π€§

"oh did I mentioned I have to go pick my GIRLFRIEND?"
"oh did I mention my GIRLFRIEND bought me this coat"
I mean I get it, it only took the guy 8 years to finally make the love of his life his GIRLFRIEND π
Now we're going to tell everyone did we mention that Sang Yan has a GIRLFRIEND?
