I was watching episode 17 when Yifan was on the phone with her. This woman *really* doesn't get it.
It makes wonder was this woman living under a rock when she was raising Yifan? Yifan grew up with so much love and the way the drama has portrayed Yifan's father he seemed to be a loving husband and father - so I truly don't know understand how she was so easily able to abandon her daughter like that and how she lets the horrible people who hurt her daughter walk freely let alone in her own home.

Yifan's transformation feels like we're going from a long dark winter to a warm sunny spring. But this time even when winter comes again I feel reassured that Yifan will have someone by her side to keep her warm, to light fireworks with her, to have chicken soup with her and make all the new memories possible with her. In return Yifan will also reciprocate all those feelings and step into a bright future with Sang Yan.
One more thing. I know this drama has had high expectations, like really *HIGH* expectations from novel readers, manhua readers, to those who have watched HL, to people who have done all of the above and more for YEARS - but I hope every person no matter how they came across TFF at least enjoys the storytelling and our two beloved characters Wen Yifan and Sang Yan.
I pause the drama so often and watch the little nuances BJT and ZRN have put into SY and WYF respectively and I'm so grateful for *how* they've breathed life into these characters.
