We are protective of the characters we love because they remind us of ourselves or the people we know in real life. To see a woman (even a fictional woman) get trampled on is hard, so I understand where you're coming from. As a woman myself, to know that you probably advocate for the women in your life as fiercely as this makes me happy and proud - and I genuinely mean it. ❤️
And yesss, episode 4 was my favorite. You're gonna love it.
Happy watching!
You are so fast, you might actually catch up by the end of the day today~
Again, this is not how I feel. To me, whether he is fictional or not, he is still a threat to her life. She might not be dying for real, but she most likely is feeling real pain, and if I was in her shoes I would be scheming against him too.
I'm sure some of the hate is due to misogyny and you have every right to call out the double standards when that is the case, I wholeheartedly support it, but I just think it's important to remember that not every criticism of a female character is automatically because of that.
What is unfair to me though, is that it seems like people are not allowed to have differing opinions on here and we all must come to the same conclusion at the same time or else we are wrong. Sometimes, people might have a differing opinion at first, but change their minds later. Is that not what's important? That we save our judgments, be open-minded, and give something or someone a chance before completely dismissing them?
Immediately invalidating other people's opinions will only alienate them. If you really love an artist or work of art, you would want others to love them too - not push them away.
Personally, I don't have a problem with the FL being messy and trying to eliminate the ML. He might not be a bad person, but he keeps coming after her life, so of course she will want to fight back.
My initial issues with the FL had more to do with LYT's portrayal of the character. I found LYT's acting to be a bit over-the-top in the beginning, and as a result, the FL came off as unnatural and more cartoonish than the fictional characters in this scripted world. This threw me off at first, but once I got used to LYT's acting, the FL became more likable and I was able to enjoy the comedy and the story more.
It took three episodes for her to finally grow on me, and now I find her endearing. Some people might need longer for her to become likable to them.
He is honestly the worst father. I want to skip his scenes when he's on screen lol.
