Based on all the previous transmigration dramas I've watched, I don't think they'll have a happy ending in this scripted world, but I do think they will end up together in the real world at the end.

Same, I didn't expect this drama to be a comedy. I thought it was going to be a dark and angsty tragedy.

The angst might come later, but at least these early episodes are filled with laughter lol.

I had so much fun watching the ML hurt himself while trying to hurt her - I couldn't stop laughing. And then episode 5... sir, I can't take your threats seriously when you have her lipstick smeared all over your mouth lol.

I guess this is one of those dramas that you gotta be really patient with before the characters start to grow on you and the plot starts to get interesting.

Ngl, I had such a hard time trying to get into this drama; episode 1 and 2 took me forever to watch. I almost gave up, but decided to give it at least two more episodes... and thank god I did. The last 15 minutes of episode 3 finally got my attention, and episode 4 was what really sold me on the comedy.

I don't know if they had an action choreographer on set, but the "fight" scenes are quite lazy. They just consist of slow-motion shots of people side stepping to avoid attacks or close-up shots of swords clinking and arrows flying. Which is unfortunate because good fight scenes are actually crucial for stories like this.
And I agree with you, the transitions could've been better. Sometimes, it feels like we skipped a scene or two because the transitions are so choppy.

Thankfully, I am really enjoying this drama so far, everyone involved is excelling in everything else, so these shortcomings don't bother me as much as they normally would. 😅

I don't think they had a choice on who to support in the beginning, considering that the CP is their kin. It's hard to go against your family in those days, but I hope they will come to their senses and switch sides later.
