watched a couple episode since it's on netflix and ngl I get why it had low viewership. first thing that stood out to me was the blinding white filter. I reallyyy hate this kind of filter and youku seems to use it a lot in their dramas. it washes out the actor's features and leaves the drama look very flat. also I like Esther but I really hope this is the last time she picks a role like this. I thought she was ready to progress to more mature roles after MJTY but then she kind of regressed again. XLH in LBFAD is the cutest but I think it's time for her to move onto to more mature roles. She has the acting for it.

tbh I don't think he's a red flag in the beginning. GZY is just kind of... dumb/immature lol he's not like XW who is a red flag on purpose

it's so weird to me that chinese actors have sasaengs. I'm a kpop fan and it's mostly idols that have sasaengs.

the drama is wayy better. people complain the drama is slow but the novel is even MORE slow lol also the character of HSY is so much better in the drama imo

I'm almost done watching TBT and Linghe is sooo dreamy in this drama! I don't know if it's an unpopular opinion but this is my favorite role of his since ChangHeng. I think I just like him more in these kind of gentle roles

the whole show is like this. it's very slice of life. I don't know if you watch jdramas often but this drama really reminds me of the jdramas of early 00s. if you don't like slow burns like this then it might not be for you.

FL is dubbed but they chose a voice actor that sounds really similar to the actress tbh i don't get why she was dubbed

I feel like one of ML's most common dialogue was "why don't we go to my place?" lmao but somehow I liked this
