wait why is this back on the currently airing section

I just want to see a trailer that focuses more on the story lol I really don't like how these Chinese streaming platforms won't drop plot focused trailers until a few days before it airs.

there's no confirmation but if all things goes well, it should air in March

Feb 7th is the date! ngl the teaser doesn't really look too exciting and I feel like it has a lot of xian xia tropes that are a bit overdone at this point.. but it's the first time DW is leading a drama so I'm going to watch a few eps to see how he does.

I'm sorry but this looks like a poorly made copy of DOTS but without the cinematography, acting or OST. China is great with historical dramas but their modern dramas are so poorly made.

Olive Tree isn't one of IQIYI's big dramas (even tho I think it'll air well. it reminds me of the SHK/SJG kdrama) so its airing schedule won't affect Divine Tree. IMO Divine Tree is airing after The Fearless 2 wraps up.

I think if all things go smoothly, this could very well air late 2025. Blossom, by the same director finished filming in early 2024 and aired in December of the same year. This kind of drama doesn't require CGI unlike Xian Xia dramas so post-production tends to be fast. I also noticed ZLH's dramas tend to air very quick lol TPR wrapped filming in Feb 2024 and aired in end of June.

I say tonight because it's technically 26th in China lol I don't live in Asia but I go by their airing dates.

I just started watching Blossom (literally on episode 1 lol) and the director definitely has an eye for visual but it also kind of annoys me how much he uses slow mo lol

The First Frost is definitely airing in February. Youku has been teasing it lately. This one.. lol no words or even teasers from IQIYI yet. I think it'll air anytime.

Should be after The Fearless 2 (which starts airing tonight). That one is a modern drama, so it should air fairly quickly, maybe 2 weeks or so. IQIYI announced back in December that Moonlight Mystique, The Fearless 2 and Divine Tree are their 3 big dramas of early 2025.

IQIYI only spends on promo for the dramas they wanna push. For example, the drama airing right now (only aired up to 20 eps so far) already has more hot searches than majority of the costume dramas that aired last year.

imo March would be the best with all the spring imagery

I hope he doesn't act in iqiyi dramas anymore lol the rumors of TBT dropping at anytime without promo is so insane. all his dramas on iqiyi have been treated poorly like this. the difference in promo that other dramas get compared to his is night and day. I hope Zhu Yu airs well and he collabs with tencent more.

there's no confirmation. the rumor was that it'd be air dropped aka it can be released anytime. for ZLH's sake, I hope that's not the case. IQIYI has another big drama airing right now and this won't get any promo if they air it now.

the most common complain is that the political plot is like childs play. not intricate enough. but that's a problem that's common in these historical dramas.

I'm watching this drama and the other xian xia at the same time and the difference in acting and cinematography is night and day. finally, a cdrama director that knows how to light a scene and not just add blinding filters over everything!
