imo TPR promotions was just normal. they had two offline events (with the entire cast! not just FL&ML) and went on Hi6 (after the drama finished airing). Compare that to some of the other drama promotions. I won't name names but some actors/actresses have intimate photoshoots or straight up pretend to kiss on TV lol but Linghe gets called out for just holding hands with his costar.

there was initial drama about the billing and the production company did nothing to clarify things. then the fans of ML and FL kept fighting on weibo. I think it affected the actors themselves because you can see they didn't even take a pic together during the wrap party.

tbh as a linghe fan, I have my expectations for this drama set pretty low. there's just so much behind the scenes fighting and the production company doesn't seem to care either. oh well. just wait for it to air and get it over with.

also there was so much more details about the timeline that I noticed on rewatch like I didn't realize how long it took for them to finally get together. From when they first met in April to when XF finally realize she liked SY in episode 18, it's basically a full year. I love this kind of detail because this kind of slow realization is so realistic.
