This is off topic but i saw your review of Legend of Shen Li and you said the novel’s ending had them blessed with 3 kids. Cant find comment section on your review so am asking here. Where did u read that version? I read the novel translation twice on different platforms but both had ending like the adaptation. Mind sharing the link where you read it from (i hope its a translation)?

When i was attacked by those rabids, i decided to look at other reviews. Turned out all of those who dropped this show did it due to the FL and the weak storyline. So I am actually not the odd one out. Gosh. These people act as if their life depended on good reviews and rating of their favourite shows. So childish.

Lol why would i be a mysogynist when i am a woman myself and had served in the navy alongside men, took command over them and more? 🤣 that aside, even my fav shows mainly have strong brilliant FL, some with stupid worthless ML but i dont care cuz it’s the FL that usually attracts me to a drama. Why would a mysogynist love female centric shows 🤣🤣😆 that label is laughable when u try to hurl it at somebody you dont even know. Rofl. Kid, try being objective and less with this stupid fandom. Btw i think you gonna love Ah Mai Joins the Army cuz it doesnt have the stupidly in love FL as shown on screen - Really hated how she easily fell in love with Shang Yizhi on screen. But wrt the adaptation, i am in love with Zhang Tian an’s portrayal of Ah Mai. I usually am not fond of cross dressing theme shows, cuz the actress usually did it really badly (too feminine looking and not convincing enough, most dont bind their chests 🙄). But Zhang TianAn’s A Mai really looked rough like a boy from the slum. Totally in love with her character there. ❤️ had she been taller she wouldnt have stuck out too much. The novel’s ah Mai was supposed to be 1.7m tall, so it was easier for her to really blend in with the rest of the troops. Honestly had they they not butchered her character by making her fall in love with Shang, i wouldve rated the adaptation much higher.

Oh i dont complain of him being stupid because her stupidity is much more obvious with questionable loyalty which is unbecoming of her brilliant character. Like i said ive seen far more brilliant FLs that couldve handled the situation better. And Nah not my loss at all. Thank god i didnt waste my time on this nonsense. 😆

Btw what is the drama title for the “ I became the cannon fodder who died early, and I angrily married the villain" novel that u mentioned before? Since the FL is so capable, i might give it a shot.

Anyway for fighting for love and kill me love me, the novel is better than the adaptation (you can read my reviews there). For example in KMLM the FL never got defeated by the ML, she was actually trying to run away from him. And she never actually cooperated with ML to fight off the crown prince, in the novel the palace power struggle was in the background and never elaborated thoroughly.many parts in KMLM adaptation was expanded and added to lengthen the episodes i guess. The novel only had 24 chapters and theyre only about the interactions between ML and FL outside the palace. The ending was better in the novel too whereas the adaptation decided to make it a sad ending instead of a happy one like in the novel.

Oh lord Ashes of Love - i didnt like the FL too. First off she’s just plain stupid. Second she’s too naiive and easily manipulated. I was so glad when the ML started to hate her after he rose from the ashes. Serve you right, girl!

But at least the FL in AoL was stupid so thats why she’s easily misled and manipulated. Whereas this Xue Man was supposedly to be brilliant detective, so whats her excuse to fall into the concocted narrative? So I am even frustrated by this character much more than AoL’s FL hence dropping it. That stabbing was too unnecessary and cheap drama. I hate this type of misunderstanding trope too. Had she been written to be just a normal colleague and not ML’s childhood sweetheart with such deep emotional bonding, the misunderstanding wouldve been a wee bit believable. But she isnt. So the misunderstanding became incomprehensible because she shouldve known better.

Before i read the novel, i thought Princess Agent was good too 🤣😝 i rewatched that bloody adaptation more than twice cuz i was so in love with Xing er and Yuwen Yue and so devastated by the cliffhanger ending. But when i read the novel, i immediately thought the adaptation was rather bad, cuz the novel was soo much better 😂 Zhuge Yue (the real name in the novel) was not as clingy as the adaptation Yuwen Yue (cuz their lives as master and servant was when ChuQiao was 8yo and Zhuge 13yo, so the guy was only interested in ChuQiao due to curiosity and not romance). Chu Qiao was also not as dependent on Zhuge as a servant as depicted in the adaptation. It was really good, but a little bit dark (it had children mutilations and deaths in the earlier parts of the novel when ChuQiao first reborn into Zhuge household slave’s body)
