Feel free to call me shallow but I almost didn't plan to watch it (despite my fave Chinese actress) because I wasn't too keen on the male lead's looks but after watching a few episodes, I can definitely see the appeal in his boyish charms! He has a really nice sunshine smile on top of his comedically cocky yet kindhearted personality, on par with my cutie Dongyu (who outshines the sun with her eye smile!!!) they have great chemistry that leaves you wanting for more, especially with their amusing moments of bickering and their hot and cold exchanges. Judging by the opening and ending credits, this series will be a fairly angsty ride if I continue to ship the main couple, so thank god I also like the second male lead so I'm not extremely bothered - just a shame if they truly don't work out in the end because sparks fly when they interact. A very solid, enjoyable drama so far! Chinese dramas doing what it's best at - overwhelming you with the nostalgic feels that makes you crave for your youthful school days once more.
Is this a reverse harem? The poster kinda makes it seem that way... :/
Judging by the opening and ending credit, it'll be a love triangle at most but not a reverse harem :) there's just a lot of boys due to the nature of the storyline with competitive swimming, etc~
I don't know why but I just can't seem to follow the plot in this drama. (ep 47) Either something has…
I'm watching the series from fastdrama and some of the subs are inaccurate/few typos here and there which could've been easily misleading or confusing, but also some stuff were lost in translation. I'm finding it a little hard to follow as well, but mainly because I'm skipping some boring parts LOL. I'm starting to lose interest as well OTL
To watch or not to watch? That is the question. With 56 episodes and 2 episodes per week, I may need to restrain…
I'm at ep48 right now - didn't even realise that I've gone past the exciting bit because the entire series seemed a bit dull to me LOL. The beginning really was a drag to get through.. almost boring. Shame because I was really looking forward to the series, I expected it to be similar to Princess Weiyoung which was fast-paced and super exciting and enjoyable. There were some kickass, empowering moments with the female lead but other than that, I didn't find it much of the series that thrilling, not even the rebellion plotting.. + Agreed about the main couple, they meet once a blue moon so it's hard to relate with their relationship LOL. I think I find her relationship with Yan Xun more endearing, and perhaps the crown prince of Liang. I do like Yuwen Yue but sometimes, he's just too righteous and poker face haha. It's not a bad series, my expectations were just too high OTL if I was to rate it as of right now, it's probably a 7/10 from me T T"

Thank you, will take ur advice! I'm also watching Eternal Love which is cheesy but I prefer it more than Princess Agents as of right now (Yue Qi from PA is the main character) worth watching~ I think I'll wait a little longer from LLiT~

Wrong place to discuss this but I'm on ep20 of Princess Agents and it's really dragging.. I feel like it still hasn't even reached the synopsis yet, will it get any better??
I watched this entire series on/off within 2 days, which was not difficult since each episode is only ~30mins…
Turns out that she was never pregnant! she thought it was due to the crazy drunken night with her step brother but truth is, nothing happened, she just got really drunk and started stripping herself. The meds he forced her to drink were only hangover cures. She took a pregnancy test which indicated positive BUT it was faulty and she never got it professionally checked by the doctors. She became even more suspicious because her period came 2 months late but that was only due to massive stress! The best (gay) friend tried to cover for them but they found out the truth that she wasn't actually pregnant~
Have been craving a historical Chinese drama for a few weeks now, this totally satisfies my craving! While it's not draggy, I find the progression of their romance a little slow for my liking. Also not keen about Tan Er's dual personality being a secret from 8th Prince and other areas of ambiguity but I hope all my questions will be answered soon enough. So far, so good! I should be grateful that there's 2 episodes a week (every Monday and Tuesday) but I'm also a little saddened due to short episodes..
