My experience is a bit different, I actually first saw him in GMP way back when it aired in 2019 and I found him attractive right away. He had the long hair and killer smile and I was like...oh god he's super cute

Princess Agents is such a good example of this...there was a huge chunk of time where you legitimately couldn't tell who the ML actually was. Same with AOL. Shawn Dou and LYX completely stole the show in their respective dramas to the detriment of the main CPs. Thankfully I don't think that's happening here because CXX is still very much front and center and his acting is what holds the entire thing together. He's that good.

That scene wrecked me...I still can't recover..my God, the angst. Yetan is absolutely heartbreaking...she's the poster child for childhood emotional abuse. And yet she's so wholesome she can't see how disturbing what she went through truly is. Her husband's face...ugh I hope SDYQ just obliterates her dad but Yetan is so kind I'm sure she wouldn't allow that... (being filial is also a thing)
