Yetan is not nearly as aware of all of that though. WE as an audience are, but you have to put yourself in Yetan's shoes. To her, he's someone who's fully unworthy of QK, and to top things off, he was being cruel and callous in that moment by rubbing it all in her sister's face as though he enjoyed watching her suffer.

I was just checking follower stats on Weibo and was coming to say this. This drama is mostly being carried by the plot and the acting and that is a testament to how good both are. I know some checked it out because of CXX given the huge impression he left thanks to GMP, but he "only" has 7.8 million followers on Weibo. He isn't a traffic star so they relied heavily on making a good drama as opposed to riding the coattails of a big name liuliang type.
