I think even if it was not a mutual relationship, Queen might have liked him rather than his timid brother, but…
Same! I honestly don’t sense any romantic feelings in Yi An towards I Rang. Lol I lowkey actually think he’s challenging her using her affection(?) or interest towards him (if any). I don’t know that’s just a random thought I have. When Yi An grabbed his brother’s collars, I agree that it might be Yi An giving his brother a way out but his brother refusing to take it. I’m curious of what happened. I can’t wait to learn more about their past honestly.

IKR! What I felt from Yi An wasn’t exactly romantic. Just regret, anger, disappointment, but not sure if it’s directed to her, his brother, or himself. Whereas with I Rang, there’s some tension that hints at romance. Like, from the hotel shirtless confrontation, and now her going rogue thinking that Hui Ju and Yi An’s relationship is genuine. Can’t help but think that she likes him, though she might just like how he’s a much more capable emperor than her husband or son. I am actually looking forward to Yi An and I Rang’s pst revelation the most 😅
I can’t help but think that there’s some past going on with I Rang and Yi An. I Rang really hints at unresolved tension, and at times even romantically. Am I going crazy or what..
Gong Seung Yeon really nails that Empress Dowager role. She really brings out the presence of the mighty Empress Dowager.. not princess or empress. There’s power, seniority, and a commanding presence in her expression and the way she delivers her lines. I applaud!
Four episodes in and I feel like the cases are solved quickly and conveniently easy. Seems like they approached more emotional elements rather than the lawsuits itself.
