aren't you jumping into conclusions a bit too soon if you're on the 2nd episode? it's fun, give it a try🤷♀️
Actually my opinion on her IQ isn't much better after episode 8, when she goes all alone to meet the bad guy just before midnight and without telling anybody.
SWDBS didn't even need the second one why are they making a third? I haven't watched SGN and I don't plan to since…
Yes, I dropped it at episode 6, it was no good at all. Over-the-top, the girl wasn't only strong but like Superman or something, jumping to the fourth floor and whatnot, after a while her acting becamse like a cartoon, the male lead was non-existent, her mother had so much plastic surgery on her face it was cringe-worthy to watch, and a whole plot about playing spy and drug lords and... Ugh... You saved yourself precious hours of your life. Twinkling Watermelon was a gem, did you watch it?
I watched it. Well, I was disappointed, although everyone looks very happy. It's the best case scenario that could happen since they wanted to keep him deaf. Although it seemed quite unrealistic that so many people mastered sign language, including the audience.
I've been sitting on episode 16 for many days now, not daring to watch it. I was so afraid that the dad would become deaf after all. Now with your comment I am finding the courage to do it!
I love learning about the sub process, Irmar. If you could, could you let me know when it'd be alright to start…
There is always a Team tab. Even if it is presubbed in English (and possibly in Spanish and Portuguese) First of all there will be a channel manager, the segment quality control checkers, then an English editor and of course all the other languages, because neither Viki nor anyone can pay to translate in 20 different languages or more!

It's simple. You go to the Team tab and scroll down past the team avatars to the so-called "cover page". The one with the pictures, a little description and a table with the roles of each team member. On top of this, just over the drama title and the poster, we always put "X episodes out of 16 released for Other Languages" If an episode is released for translation by other languages, it means that the English has been edited. Although Viki lately has been pressuring us to release before the editing, to save time and to save itself from Spanish and Portuguese sub-whiners (if you don't know what a sub-whiner is, it's the person who whines about why the subtitles in their language are not instantly ready the moment the video is uploaded - it's the most hated species for the volunteer community)
Poor Eun gyeol...he only got sent to the past to gain more guilt than he already has?? Our boy deserves a happy…
Although... It wasn't wholly his fault. Yes, he shouldn't have left him alone to go chase after the girl. But Yi Chan also didn't keep his promise to stay at home. He gave precedence to the promise about the song but not the one about staying at home.
I don't think the present will change.Seems somewhat like 2521 ending. No not the couple's ending. The ending…
Let's first see how they handle it in the last episode. I am also afraid that it will go the bad way, but there's still a little hope. I'm reserving judgement until then.
I just want to say that people are a sum of their choices and the experiences that they go through as a result…
Well, he was a warm, honest, loyal and caring person all along, and very healthy in body and in mind, as Grandma said. He would have been an awesome father anyway. Even Eun Gyeol tells him that: and I think his words are not only based on the father he knows, but also on Yi Chan's character when he's young.
I feel so. The way they're showing EG's praying for his dreams, I a sure things will be different this time .…
Not only that. We were shown in this episode that the father is not totally okay, it still hurts him to see his old friends, so it's not as if he's blissful and content with being deaf. This, together with what you say, gives me a tiny little bit of hope that the writers won't disappoint us just to deliver a trite ending with "oh, the trip was just a learning process, there was no mission after all"
Yes, it's coming to Viki on December 4th, pre-subbed, and probably all episodes together, but I strongly recommend not rushing to watch it. The reason being that the Chief Editor who'll be working on it is the very best editor on Viki (she's there since 2009, also knows Korean well). People have waited for six long months, it's worth waiting a little bit more in order to enjoy the drama in its best version. Of course you do what you want, but that's my sincere recommandation. The pre-subs Viki brings are "Netflix-style", shortened versions with no flavour at all of Korean culture left. Not to mention that often they have mistakes as well.
After searching all over the internet, I finally found in the cast credits on IMDB the name of the tenor who supposedly sung the first, operatic songs Di Quella Pira, Dio! Mi Potevi Scagliar and Nessun Dorma. He is Jung Sang-Hyuk But it also lists Bae Jae-Chul himself as performing Il Lamento Di Federico, La Donna E' Mobile, Niun Mi Tema, Ah Si Ben Mio, Amazing Grace , Di Quella Pira. Could it be that the singer himself had old recordings that were used? It's frustrating when they don't give this kind of info! Here is the page: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3150114/fullcredits/?ref_=tt_cl_sm Then I tried Google with search words: "the tenor – lirico spinto songs" It had every single song, with interpreters and also the duration! And it confirmed that there are two songs sung by Jung Sang-Hyuk and the rest of the arias sung by the main lead are recordings of the real Bae Jae-Chul, on whose life story the movie was based. Puccini: Turandot "Nessun dorma" Jung Sang-Hyuk Verdi: Otello / Act 3 - "Dio! mi potevi scagliar" Jung Sang-Hyuk Verdi: Otello: Niun Mi Tema Bae Jae-Chul Verdi: Il Trovatore / Act 3 - "Ah sì ben mio" Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra,Bae Jae-Chul Verdi: Rigoletto / Act 3 - "La donna è mobile" Bae Jae-Chul Cilea: L'Arlesiana / Act 2 - E'la solita storia (Il lamento di Federico) Bae Jae-Chul Verdi: Il Trovatore / Act 3 - "Di quella pira" Bae Jae-Chul Traditional: Amazing Grace Bae Jae-Chul

There are quite a few videos of him. Just search with 배재철
One of them is a full documentary of his life that is basically exactly like the film. I took the transcript to an automatic translator and figured out what it says. Here is the scene of his first comeback to the stage: https://youtu.be/vlSZoZvBRuI?si=1LfeEQY73Xqu94XK&t=3042
