I'm not 100% sure. In the novel Jiang Qiao cares for the FL and knew that the other cousin's husband was out to get her so tried to help her. Jiang Qian is the evil cousin with the evil husband who killed all those girls and wanted the FL. Right now Jiang Zhan doesn't have any rank, he's pretty much a loafer and sometimes student!

This one is a fun story! In the novel, they first met when they were kids. The ML had snuck out and had dressed as a girl in disguise to sneak out. He was kidnapped by some guys who thought he was really pretty and were going to sell him to a brothel! The FL rescued him. But she didn't know that he was a guy, she thought she rescued a girl. Until he told her many years later!

But that is one thing that they are keeping just like in the novel, the immaturity of the ML. In the novel the ML is described a lot as an adolescent and definitely acts like it at times. And since she is 15 and he is 17 when they meet (again, you have to read the novel) they both should be acting their age but since the FL is on her second life she would be more mature. Plus girls mature faster than boys!😉 😂
