So far great drama. The ML (Gao Xiang) is really worming his way into my heart and I imagine into FWZ's heart as well. He's so likable and charismatic. I hope they do end up together even if this drama is not romance focused. I am trying to check out this actor's other dramas. He's better than a lot of idol actors out there TBH.

Ok, seems I will drop this show. The FL character is written as unrealistic. She’s written like some form of…
You obviously didn't watch the latest episodes where she tricked them and got them to return home without a cent. Seems like her nephew and niece are quite honorable. It is a realistic depiction of chinese culture especially of guan-xi and obligations between families. I have had to sit through lectures from random relatives I barely know and be respectful in spite of wanting to tell them to get the f off. So unless you are Chinese, you would not really understand the nuance here.

It’s so disappointing. I was really holding out hope he wasn’t as bad and we just didn’t know the whole…
I agree but I think it's a matter of 1) potentially miscasted actor for the role - I feel he can't decide how to portray the character's motivation - he's like wanting to be this guy who lost his sister, then a guy who wants takes down all the bad guys then he's a psycho dude. 2) the director not giving enough background to this character to make us believe his motivation. They glossed too lightly over his attempts to get justice for his sister which would have led to his creating such a destructive app. Just revenge for a sister he had never grew up with isn't enough motivation to go to such lengths for revenge. Also - the director/script-writer made him into this kind of omnipotent being just because he's a tech dude. I've noticed K and C drama romanticize the tech CEO. Reality is so far from the truth here and I know since I work in Silicon Valley LOL. No hot tech guys - everyone is an average, super stressed employee worried about AI taking over their job.

Yup the war on Iran by Trump is a classic Wag the Dog move. Not fooling anyone with an IQ above 100.

I know a lot of people hate her short hair style but she had a very cropped look in the Price of Confession and I thought she still looked stunning. In fact, not having the hair in the way, her features really stood out and I realized what a natural beauty she is.

Wow - what a wonderful drama! PSH knocks it out of the park with this one. Forget the other MLs - I want her next ML to be Kim Won Hae - they are hilarious playing off each other. Every time I see him in the script, I have a big smile on my face. The man is a comedic genius. I've rewatched The Judge from Hell and am now rewatching Dr Slump. She does pick really good scripts. And such an amazing presence on screen too. This was overall just the type of feel good drama so much needed especially in a world of wars and things just falling apart (if you live in the US, you know) and AI fear hype taking all our jobs. I kinda wish I was back in the 90s too. Life seemed more innocent then.

This is a very interesting and complex drama where everyone is complicit in something. Outside of the 3 women lawyers and the girl who was a victim, not sure who is trustworthy because everyone except for the detective husband, seems to be Connect-ed. Pun intended.

Wish they'd chosen a hostess who was less skeletal - she doesn't look at all like she enjoys bread. Watching her jutting collarbone and emaciated arms makes me cring - especially as I am watching a bread making contest where food is the main focus here.

He is just the best - I adore this actor. He's got such great comedic timing and is an awesome actor able to go from extremely serious to hilarious in a single scene. And underneath all that, you can sense he's just very self deprecating and having the time of his life. In a lot of BTS, I also notice that even the leads in the dramas he's in respect him a lot as a veteran in the field. Every time I see him in the cast, I look forward to the scenes he's in.

the latest string of law draws have kept me hooked like this one. as long as it’s a good cast, the storyline…
How is Bloody Flower. That one seems even darker than this drama. A ML serial killer right?

we still don’t know about the prime ceo but i do think there is something about him too.i think the professor…
Thanks. Yeah I am not sure how the friend is the same as current day prosecutor. But Ra Yeong's reaction when he delivered the flowers made it seem like she just saw someone rise from the dead. Maybe he got new name and worked his way back somehow into law? And a morbid thought just occurred to me - I wonder if the detective husband is going to die. It seems there is going to be some karma payback somehow from her cheating. Just not sure how it will be played out.

Thanks everyone! I am going to check out TTEOTM. I quite like the actress having seen her in variety shows. She's funny and seems very down-to-earth.

First time watching Bai Lu drama - curious as she's quite popular. Is her character somewhat autistic? Her character seems to be like a Sherlock Holmes type or is the actress just kinda wooden in her expressions? I've seen the ML in other dramas like the Double and I've liked him better there...but for some reason the chemistry is just not landing here. Both leads are not quite hitting the mark in their portrayals and it's coming off a bit stiff. But I am still enjoying the banter - just not able to get emotionally vested even though both leads are very attractive and would seem to match as CP. Can anyone recommend a BaiLu drama where she connect better with her ML?

OK someone set me straight - in e4 the classmate who raped (or tried to rape) Ra Yeong and the trio thought they killed in self-defense is actually alive and the mastermind behind the ConnectIn app? The uncle is a member. Is the Prime CEO also complicit? The professor - what's his role here? Assume the detective husband will find out the truth and we will have to see if their marriage survives. It already seems rather rocky now so wonder if with such shocking revelations that he will stay with her. It is a rather dark drama for sure.

The main issue isn't that she cheated it’s how the writer treats the affair like it’s just a mistake to move…
This is a plot device to throw more curve balls into the case because now she is afraid of her DNA being found at the scene which then leads to them hiding evidence on the phone that may have moved the case in a different direction. But then the witness died so it would not have made a difference. But then...the prosecutor decided to screw with the husband by sending him the 911 recording where he recognized his wife's voice. So now we also wonder what is the trio hiding if they are worried about the wife's DNA being found in the database because it seemed to be more than just being caught cheating. Do you get the plot device now?

the police is so useless and always ready to close the cases but how can they coerce the victim on the scene like…
It is a commentary (albeit fiction) on how the world works - the victim gets re-victimized in the court and by law enforcement which let's be real is pretty much male dominated. Women are usually asked if they invited such attentions because of how they dressed or their professions. So this is a dramatization of what could very well happen IRL.

One of the leads having a fling with her ex is part of the plot device - so folks in the comments should just calm down and get off their moral high horses. As a plot device, its actually quite brilliant because it allows for Hyeun Jin having left her DNA behind and also being afraid of having her husband find out - which leads to their covering it up evidence. And now we as the audience also wonder about what exactly in their past that they are worried about being exposed for and which also prompted them to form the law firm in the first place and to fight so hard for victims. I believe they might have been caught for some incident in the past which caused their DNA to be in the database that they do not want to be made public. I am also super excited that this is a female led drama by 3 seasoned actresses. I also liked that these 3 women are flawed and not perfect but as a team they are a strong force to be reckoned with. It does seem like the villains are super powerful and the odds are overwhelming against them but it does make it so much more interesting. Also the men in the supporting roles are all very good, experiencd actors. A stellar cast. Can't wait for the next episode!

Really enjoying the show. It's like what is going on in the US. Shadow government by a former president, corrupt…
There is nothing shadow about what is happening in the US. The former president who returned is now robbing the country blind with his schemes (million dollar visas, drugs you pay for with cash on his site, sons backdoor dealing with middle east/arabs....you name it) and doing his best to break up all the democratic checks and balances to turn the US into a 3rd party autocratic country. And most people are too dumb to realize that here.
