Article 8 Shocking Facts About Netflix's "Gyeongseong Creature" That Will Blow Your Mind
Honestly, the atrocities committed by the Japanese during Japanese occupation of Asia are not aired that much compared to Nazi Germany and we don't see Germans crying anti-Germans every time Hollywood rolls out a movie about that time period. What happened was real and film makers have every right to refer to that time period. Nationalistic movements seeking to rewrite the past are dangerous. In fact, I appreciate Japanese culture, its people, and always enjoy visiting there. I can separate the two so give people credit that they can acknowledge the past, yet appreciate the present. I was planning to skip this drama because of the monster element but now will actually watch it.
