alright so i'm on episode 2 & so far, its okay. I've definitely had to fast forward a bit at times but its not bad! I will say that so far, I love the story of the SML & the FL over the story of the ML & FL.
The SML (even though he hasn't recognized her yet) loves the FL because he thinks she was beautiful & kind when he snuck a peek at her. The ML so far only pays attention to the FL because she's his connection to his ex-wife. I'm hoping it changes and he starts to see HER for HER & not because of his ex wife.
Literally going to recommend this show to EVERYONE. I haven't seen such a cute romance in such a long time! The way he was so obsessed with her and the way he looked at her omg SAUR CUTE!!
okay so i put this part on hold until it finished so before I watch, I need some spoilers please or else I can't peacefully sit through this drama without feeling anxious! 1. Did Naksu get her powers/memories back and if so what episode? 2. Did Bu-Yeon come back or is she finally resting in peace? 3. What episode does Uk & everyone else find out its Naksu? 4. Was it finally a happy ending for our 2 leads?
I've been trying to watch this show for literally 2 years. First time, I dropped it in the first 2 episodes because it was boring. Second time, I dropped it after 7 episodes because it just kept getting BORING. Finally, recently, I wanted to force myself to watch it because I had nothing else to watch and it seemed to be rated so highly on here. However, once I got to episode 9, it still bored me to death so I literally had to read recaps to finally finish this. It was still extremely boring, like omg. It has never taken me THIS long to complete a show.
It's crazy because the two leading actors are both on my fave actor/actress list but just the way this story was written was just not interesting at all! Such a great idea & plot/amazing cast but terrible execution. I ended up giving it a 5/10 but only because i really loved the cast & the cinematography was beautiful! But the writing was just horrible. The fact that I gave it 3 different chances for 3 different years and every single time, I hated it just says something!
But don't let my comment dissuade you, this may be a great show for you! I just couldn't enjoy it!
THIS WAS AMAZING!!!! I'm normally a romance drama girly but this had me hooked from beginning to end!!!! I get why people say they shipped Dong Eun with Do Young more because they definitely had some sizzling chemistry. But omg, the way Yeo Jung was ready to risk it all for her just completely sold me on them two. It honestly feels like Dong Eun is the female JOKER while Yeo Jung is her male Harlequinn. Kinda a huge coincidence that he's also a type of doctor, just like Harley was before she went crazy for joker.
I'm only on episode 3 and i'll leave my official review under this comment once i finish but i must say... Episode 3 is the most beautiful episode i have EVER seen in a kdrama. I'm a straight woman but every single time I see any type of scenes in kdramas involving the lgbt community, its always portrayed as something "wrong" or like the family gets so upset or afraid. I am SO happy and SO touched that we got to see a mother accept her son for who he is AS SHE SHOULD. She reacted how any normal mother would, afraid for her own child & then she found a way to have him accept who he was while also protecting him. That moved me so much, I got chills. What a BEAUTIFUL episode and an amazing mother <3
I'm watching this for the first time & i'm 10 mins into episode 1... All I have to say, is that ARISU IS A LIL BEAN AND I LOVE HIM ALREADY. He needs to be protected at all costs. I will be back after watching this show to update my comment if that thought changes LOL
Am I the only one who thinks the only path forward is Naksu 2.0 **HAS** to live as Jin Bu Yeon now? 1. She **literally**…
From what was explained in the show, Bu-Yeon is basically dead. Her soul is gone. But because Naksus soul was inside of Bu-Yeons body when she jumped off the cliff, when Master Lee brought her back, he literally said he could only save the BODY of Bu-Yeon & that the soul of Naksu would live inside that body and as she healed, her features would slowly start to resemble Naksu's original features. He also warned Bu-Yeons mom that if she accepted those consequences, she would lose her daughter since now her body would belong to Naksu. That's why the mom wanted Naksu to marry so badly because she doesn't care about the soul thats inside, she just wants to keep the DNA of her daughter & birth an heir for the Jin family.
So Naksu has the power of a priestess because she's still using the body of a priestess, but her soul is her own original soul. The only way there'd be a "fusion" is if Bu-Yeon was still alive.
I think they talked about it in ep 2, so you could quote me if i'm wrong.
And you're right! She's not OG Naksu anymore, she's an upgraded version now that she ALSO has the power of a priestess, coupled with her own powers.
Ya'll... I really think he kissed her because he thought she was mu-deok & you guys know when they wake up, he's probably gonna act like it never happened. I mean either way, its fine because we all know she IS mu-deok but I don't think he's completely over naksu yet. Which once again, is fine because "bu-yeon" IS naksu, so technically, he DOES love her but he doesn't know it yet. It's frustrating because I want her to get her memories back & tell him but we all know thats not gonna happen yet so.. idk.
I think im just gonna stop watching & wait till the full thing comes out cause this is all so confusing & frustrating, waiting to see whats gonna happen next. Like... what if we dont get the happy ending between our 2 leads that we're hoping for? I'd rather just wait & spoil myself then. So i'll be back here on January 8th for the finale & just binge watch.
I regret watching this, IM SO MAD. This was a 10/10 show but I will never watch this again. Its the same just like Snowdrop with these ENDINGS OMFG.
idk why I still had the thought in me that main characters dont die. I'm so PISSED OFF. Like WHY did he have to go out like that? He was saving everyone the entire show, & was literally my favorite character & they did him so dirty! Ugh im so upset. This show was SO good up until the last 2 episode & then everything just crumbled :(
I definitely want my time back. I should have stayed away from this because MY HEART IS BROKEN INTO A MILLION PIECES :(
But, I will say, this show had me hooked the ENTIRE TIME. Literally, I didn't even realize I was getting to the final episode until the last minute. I normally hate horror & I reaaallllyyy hate zombies like with a passion, but tbh, this wasn't all that scary! It was just HEARTBREAKING. Amazing show, but I still regret watching it. Wish I stayed FAR away from this cause now i'm sobbing. Poor kids man :(
If she returns as the assassin, then everything she learned and went through with Uk will be fruitless. Former…
I agree with that! However, I still hope she gets her justice somehow! I hope her friends from before learns of her tragic story & helps her. I would love to see them all fighting jin mu together, omg that would be so cool! I just want my girl to get her flowers. She's been through so much & I just want her to show people that shes not to mess with! She's defs my fav character & anything they do with her, if its positive, ill like! I just wanna see her go off because she deserves it for all the hell she's been through.
So i've been waiting for this since finishing p1 & its not bad so far! The chemistry between naksu & jang uk is even more sizzling now that shes back to looking like herself! Even with no memories, the stares they give each other is just insane.
But I will say, p2 is already making me confused asf. I also hate the fact that after everything in p1, we still have to go through a whole new arc with naksus amnesia & everything now. I was kinda hoping she'd come back, ready to kick jinmus ass but I get that they want to continue the story some more so i'll be patient! Even though I like the romance & im a romance girl through & through, i'll admit that I really only care about Naksu becoming her old self again. I can't wait for her to hold her sword & just get her justice! Like cmon, we technically only got to see her hold her sword maybe 3-5 times in the whole show? I wanna see her go crazy!
I will also admit that while I loved the other characters stories in p1, I found myself skipping past their parts so i could get back to Naksu. She just steals the show, her story is so interesting!!
& Finally, I really really really want to applaud So-Min for her role as Mu Deok (Naksu)! Like omg, in (part 2) episode 2 when Naksu was on the boat & jang uk saw her on that bridge, I swear, she looked JUST like mudeok when she was staring at Jang Uk! So-min mastered the Naksu stare so well that the change doesn't bother me! Super excited to see the next episode! :D
Putting this on hold at episode 7! So far, my opinion on this is that it's a pretty okay show... It's getting a 5/10 for now.
It's definitely something that I don't want to drop but it's also not binge worthy at all. There aren't really any "serious" moments, as this is more of like a romcom/ slice of life type drama! That kind of annoyed me because I wanted to see the leads be more serious when it was time for serious moments but a lot of the time, the show just played it off as comedy.
Also, the fifth brother & the lady from dan... omg. Like at first, the "hitting" was okay because it seemed like playful hits. But i'm only 7 episodes in & she already bruised him from kicking him! I get that he was an a**hole but omg? That kinda made me uncomfy to the point where I ended up fast forwarding a lot of their scenes.
But yeah, i'm only putting it on hold for now because it's kinda boring but the leads are also really cute together & I wanna see more of their story so i'll eventually come back to it!
Okay so usually I only tune into dramas if they have romance in them (there's only been a few exceptions) but even though this one DOES have the romance tag, i'm giving this a try because I want to see the character development! According to the synopsis, the ML has been through a lot & is probably a cold/miserable person so i'm hoping to see him become soft after doing the volunteer work. Bonus points if the romance is pretty good.
I'm only scared tho because I hate sad shows since i'm a huge baby but, I'll still give it a shot!
OMG WHAT A GREAT SHOW/?? I think this is one of the best recent Kdramas so far! It's been a while since a new…
Okay so this show was a 10/10 for me, what a feel good drama. I haven't seen a show that had such great character development like this one had!
I started the show literally hating both the male leads. One was to stiff & boring while the other was too cocky & arrogant. But as the show went on, both of them changed for the better! I also felt so bad for the SML! While I prefered the FL with the ML, the SML was such a sweetheart & just an all around good guy. I honestly felt bad for him but I'm happy he got the ending he deserved. I think this is the first drama where both male leads are green flags. They never hurt Sang Un & always wanted the best for her. Even the SML up until the end! Also, I hated Madam Yoo & also the SMLs parents but the show managed to give them such amazing character development in the end!
Everyone also is talking about how Gwang Nam should've gotten more and honestly, I agree with that! I'm happy that this show even made a character like him which showcased the homophobia that is present in SK and how some queer people are so afraid to come out to the point where they're wanting to leave their country. I love how Sang Un accepted him for who he was & their sibling-like relationship. I hated his family though, they never developed, even in the end, they were all a**holes. But I'm glad he had someone like Sang Un in his life. Such a great character.
The romance development was amazing too! The synopsis must be wrong because I literally thought that Sang Un was going to be wavered by the SML but she never liked him! Even when he kissed her, she immediately felt uncomfortable after. The entire time she kept thinking of the ML & she proved how much she only wanted him.
Anyways, this show will be going in my top 10. It's been a while since i've been this hooked on a show. Even the "business" moments was kinda interesting! This was great, I will be recommending this to everyone!
OMG WHAT A GREAT SHOW/?? I think this is one of the best recent Kdramas so far! It's been a while since a new release had me hooked to the point where I didn't sleep & binged the entire thing! I'm gonna make a spoiler below about a few things that I really loved! But if you're wondering whether you should watch this or not, DO IT!! Don't listen to any negative comments below, trust me.
I'm only here for PMY & GKP! I'm excited to see the other actors as well but PMY is one of my favorite female actresses (idc if people think she plays the same role because every role she has played has felt so relatable & I've been able to connect to them unlike some other characters ive seen!) & GKP is one of my fav male actors... I fell for him (& his voice) after watching Chicago Typewriter & every show i've seen him in, even as a supporting character, he always stole the show with his charm 😍 Hopefully I like this because I normally hate love triangles but we'll see!!
Just re-watched this for a second time and it still gives me chills. One of the BEST kdramas out there. Don't let the comments below fool you, the writing in this drama was AMAZING, the chemistry between the leads was on FIRE & The family theme throughout the show was so touching. Also the twists & turns & the villains were GREAT. Give this a try all the way to the end, it will literally leave your mind blown. The last episode is still one of my favorite episodes in kdrama history for how it neatly wrapped the entire story up & gave us all the explanation we needed!
Okay so this has been on my plan to watch list for literally forever & I have nothing else to watch sooo im excited! I see the "reverse harem" tag & i'm really hoping this isnt one of those stories where the FL loves multiple people at once. Like I don't mind her marrying someone else if she has to for political reasons but I really hope her "true" love is with the ML cause so many dramas where the FL loves someone else first and THEN the ML has been popping up & I hate tropes like that. Hopefully I like this! :D
so i dropped this back when it first started airing because i didn't like that the FL agreed to marry lou yao.…
welp, i tried, i REALLY tried to like this because both the leads are some of my favorite actors but PERSONALLY (pls dont attack me for my opinion), I really disliked this show and i'm defs giving it a 5/10. I have never gotten a headache from a show but THIS did it.
The show is called "love like the galaxy" & it features both the leads on the cover but this love is not "sweet" or romantic. It was PERFECT in the beginning, I felt like they were setting up for an awesome love story but it just didn't work out for me.
First of all, the bond between LY & SS was defs super cute but I got more of sibling vibes from them. LY literally followed SS around everywhere like a puppy & did her tasks. The way QiQi even said that SS treats LY like her maid Lian Fang. It was so hard to watch SS stand by the fact that she wanted to marry him no matter what while there was no chemistry between the 2. It was so hard watching the ML look so dejected when he clearly loved her.
Also, Yuan was SO annoying. Like idk why he thought SS would want a man who's so proper & up tight. He just kept appearing wherever she went like omg.
Then finally, the marriage didn't happen between LY & SS (THANK GOD) but now you got the ML asking the emperor for their marriage & I thought, hmm, maybe she'll actually like him now but nope. They started bickering already. SS tells him that she didn't like how he stood up for her because she basically wanted to stand up for herself but knew she had no power & that she was worried about the future because she didn't wanna lose herself but he didn't understand.
I had to drop it there because my head can't take anymore of this confusion & mess but according to yalls comments, he becomes very controlling & the main couple always end up fighting. Maybe if the ending was gonna be more romantic, I could push through it but this love story was WAYYY to complicated for me.
And i normally try to push aside the romance & just focus on the plotline when i'm giving a rating but literally at like episode 10 I had to start skipping through most scenes because they just kept shoving LY & SS into our faces so I wasn't able to pay much attention to the story. Definitely giving this a 5 for the beginning but I can't anymore. Officially hard dropping this. Never again 😭
